@ Op,
You are very funny! I watched it last nite and it was repeatedly showed this morning. They were all joking in a gathering of elites to celebrate a former Akintola William delliote's auditor. Get life!
PoliticsRe: Something Is Happening In Ekiti — For Real! by Aderostock(m): 11:00am On Dec 30, 2012
mosun_ade: LOL. The same Ekiti where I come from? This must be another Ekiti. W.
You are a liar! Have read all your posts on nairaland, you are a non- yoruba disguised to be a yoruba. By the way, you are not the only one. I know of many but I will just write few that use yoruba Id's. They are mosun_ade, kunlekunle, bukky_ade and many. Unmask yourself now!
PoliticsRe: Aregbesola Flags Off Distribution Of Free School Uniforms In Osun State by Aderostock(m): 12:07am On Dec 30, 2012
anonimi: Is there free education in Osun state i.e. no tuition or other fees paid by students?
If yes, up to what level - primary, secondary, vocational, tertiary??
Yes! There is free education in the state of Osun from elementary to high school but not free for tertiary because Osun has five tertiary schools to cater for:
1. Ladoke Akintola university
2. Osun state university
3. Osun state polytechnics
4. Osun state college of technology
5. Osun state college of education

PoliticsRe: Searching For Gej's Achievements by Aderostock(m): 9:21am On Dec 26, 2012
ITbomb: Obasanjo decimated a whole village cos of militancy. GEJ sustained Amnesty and brought peace.
What peace? When there is still militancy. Millitancy is back!

Obasanjo increased fuel price by over 400% creating subsidy billionaires at the expense of the masses, GEJ remove subsidy to free funds for development.
Gej now added to it by 200% without any development.

Obasanjo came and saw 2000 MW of power generation and left it at 1200 MW. We now have above 4000 MW and still raising.
I can't see any improvement at Ikeja and environs.

Abacha looted railway funds. Under GEJ we now have a functional railway after decades of wastes.
What function rail, ok, u meant 18th century rail track system?

Our airports are becoming a thing of pride. Under Obasanjo we saw incessant power failures at the airports with non functional conveyor.
With manual check-in still in place. May u referred to Accra airport in Ghana.

Obasanjo , IBB and their cronies looted and got away with no trace or probe. Under GEJ we see series of probe of looted funds , U of looting which hereto Nigerians have never know to exist.
No one has been convicted here under GEJ.

We have 9 new Federal Universities and a much better working conditions for staff, under Obasanjo it was one strike or the other.
Where are situated cos I can't see the one assigned to Ekiti.

We now have fairly credible elections applaud by all, under Obasanjo we saw rigging with impunity. Remember good leaders are created through good electoral process so this is a major achievement.
So this one is the only achievement your president can boast of?

Roads that were neglected for years under different regimes are now motorable under GEJ. Name one please

We have Information Bill and Nigerians are now beginning to realise from the scams and probes, how previous leaders looted the treasury without question. Rubbish

Federal minimum wage which was always controversial , now put to rest.

Police now patrolling the roads with able bodied vehicles in much more numbers and road blocks reduced dramatically. Governors buy these vehicles.

We don't need more lies.
PoliticsRe: GEJ - Nigerians Think I Am Slow Because I Avoid Taking Hasty Decisions by Aderostock(m): 8:30am On Dec 26, 2012
TRUTHTELA: IMO, Nigerians are the SLOWEST people on earth. You "VOTED" him in. The SLOW man LORDS himself over millions of the " SMART" and GENIUS ones. If you think he's SLOW, do something about it, if you can't do anything about it, MAY YOU FOREVER REMAIN SILENT. The same DOCILE folks complaining about JOnathan & his SLUGGISH acts, were there when a PETTY THIEF like Obasanjo, came and WREAK HAVOC, LOOT THE TREASURE and CONDUCTED THE WORST ELECTION IN THE HISTORY OF NIGERIA . He left with his LOOT and his moving around FREELY, BLABBING all over the place against Jonathan, ( plotting on how to install another SLOW STOOGE as the president. This same SLOW Jonathan, will start his next tenure by 2015 and the same DOCILE Nigerians, WILL DO "NATHING", but will prefer to rush down to NL, and be ranting BS.

Jonathan, is not SLOW, ( he's only being Jonathan) Nigerians are the SLOWEST and MOST DOCILE people on earth.
We will show him and his cohorts an exit door come 2015. He has failed woefully from day one till now.
PoliticsRe: Searching For Fashola's Achievements by Aderostock(m): 8:09am On Dec 26, 2012
rozayx5: just left Lagos this year back to my Home sweet state grin
fashola is a rogue, and he is just a tinubu puppet...
inflating contracts x 1000, increasing school fees at alarming rates, tolling a rich part of the state, why did he not build a toll gate at oshodi huh
thieves, him and Tinubu are just running Lagos like a Business, you can cry if you like shocked i know his cousins here will always defend him

as for me Akwa Ibom ado Ok

Let me educate you, Lagos has a budget thats equivalent to that of Akwa-ibom, around 490 billion while Lagos with highest population and highest number of civil servant will tend to have higher recurrent expenditure. Meanwhile, PPP is simply PUBLIC private partnership. This is what is called governance!

conclusion = Fashola 90% practical 10% propaganda
Comparism/ Akpabio 10% practical 90% propaganda.
wink
PoliticsRe: Searching For Fashola's Achievements by Aderostock(m): 7:51am On Dec 26, 2012
Sunny_bobo: We all saw how the state that accommodated the subsidy protest suddenly increase school fees by more than 1000% and put a toll gate on an uncompleted road and use police to chase away the protesters of the toll gate. They have erected another toll gate on the same uncompleted road again and everywhere is quiet. If this was done by GEJ, by now, twitter and facebook would have crashed from the insults hurled at him.
There is a toll gate at Airport road, residents of mafoluku, ajao estate and airforce base that pass thru this dirty route pay money everytime on this road that can never be compared with the lekki road but no one complains.

Mr. Globe:
Have you been to makoko or iyana ipaja? lol. pls stop.
I live at iyana-ipaja. Road works are in progress while some have completed. Go thru my posts above and confirm the roads I listed. Get a life. Out of over 150 posters here, just only 5 posters denied the fact of not seeing anything. Hypocrites!
PoliticsRe: Searching For Fashola's Achievements by Aderostock(m): 8:15am On Dec 25, 2012
Sincere 9gerian: This is UNBELIEVABLE but true. I and my team are yet to find tangible projects executed by Fashola in the last 6yrs. Also scanning thru the comments so far on this thread, efforts have been made on doubt but what I can see are proposals, uncompleted projects and worst still, most are local govt grade projects.
For goodness sake, what has been done with N30billion monthly revenue multiplied by 6yrs. This is the PUZZLE that has kept tens of ithousands of SEARCHERS in the nooks and cranny of Lagos busy in the last few days.
Anyway, permit me to return to the trenches to continue searching, perhaps with better luck I and my team can find some tangible projects.
I wish all the searchers goodluck!
I tried not to bring in tribalism but you and that idiotic Mr. Globe have pushed me to the wall. I live at Iyana-ipaja, road construction works are going on every neighbourhood streets. I will name a few and u can come n check them by yourself with your team.
1. Adealu street with full street lights. Completed.
2. Kareem oyelade street. Completed
3. Araromi street.
4. Akintoye street.
5. Oyewole road.
6. Oyewole street.
7. Egbeda- idimu dual road with street lights. Completed
8. Ipaja-ayobo road. Not yet completed
9. And many others I don't know their street names.

Have said it before, all the governors in South east and south south put together can not match fashola's achievements and innovations. Remember " innovation".

afam4eva: You're a product of failed education...

An investment inn educating people especially educated illiterates like yourself should be commended be it at primary or tertiary level. Hardly is there any family that doesn't have someone who attends a university. Imagine taking that burden off them by giving scholarships.
Comparing the population of imo indegenes in the state university which I know is not up to 2% of the entire population of imo state with civil servants who are upto 5% of the entire population of Oyo, which would you think will be more beneficiary? Atleast, the burden of paying for transport will be taken off and the money can be used for other things. Period!
PoliticsRe: Why Is Prof Achebe's Name On NL Hall Of Shame? by Aderostock(m): 4:27pm On Dec 23, 2012
So Achebe being in the hall if shame can make some people to have headache. When he was in hall of fame last year nobody opens a thread to discuss it just like this.

I believe prof. Chinua achebe deserves to be nominated into the hall of shame this year because he is an ungrateful man who schooled mostly in the western region.
PoliticsRe: Free Transportation For Oyo Workers From January —ajimobi by Aderostock(m): 2:59pm On Dec 23, 2012
afam4eva: What a moronic dingbat...How can students from primary school to university be less than 3%. It just shows how much unintelligent you are.
What a statement from an ignorant! I referred you to the university free education which is just like a wasteful policy from a reckless Government of Imo state but you are here typing about primary and secondary free education. Is there no free education for primary and secondary students of Oyo?

Grow up Mr. Tribal bigot
PoliticsRe: Free Transportation For Oyo Workers From January —ajimobi by Aderostock(m): 11:36am On Dec 23, 2012
afam4eva: Just when we're clamoring for the reduction of resources expended on recurrent expenditure, this governor goes ahead to use money that will be more beneficial to the entire populace for a selected few and some people are here commending him.
You are the Mr. Bigot of the year 2012!
When your Okorocha did it by giving acclaimed free education to imo indegenes who are not up to 3% of the poulation, u typed it commendable, now, another Governor is doing the same, u called it wasteful expenses. Stop all these sentiments cos it would take you anywhere

Maybe Mr. Afam can read this and should that Governor of Akwa-ibom and his commissioner for police to do something or better still emulate it.

afam4eva: Will you keep quiet!

Who told you Akpabio is not funding the police?

There's little or nothing these governors can do to fight crime as they don't have control over the security apparatus of the state.

And i never knew Lagos was a secured city.
It's you that should keep quiet!

Have always told you to remove the gums in your eyes if you are reading post here. The CP asked the AIG for more vehicles.

You never knew Lagos was a secured city? Because you never seen any good thing about Lagos. May be the CEO of Sheraton will clear this to you.I will try and post his comments here.

Governance is not about building skycrappers only but also by putting security into consideration. This is why Fashola is ahead of all the Governors put together in this country. Fashola never waited for One IGP before he setup his state trust funds to make Lagos a secured city. He funds the police, gives them vehicles and bikes and fuel them. Mr. Akpabio should emulate him as some Governors have done.
CultureWhat Language Is The Most Interesting In Nigeria? by Aderostock(op): 10:58am On Dec 22, 2012
Have heard so many languages in Nigeria. I think the most interesting language is Yoruba because it being used mostly everywhere in Nigeria at some particular time. For instance, 1. Most music done without yoruba language involves are like trash.
2. Most celebrations and parties always have Owambe tag as name of the outfits be worn by most people from different ethnic groups.
3. Most of the general food and meats all have yoruba names used by everybody to call them such as pomo, shaki, ora, dodo etc

These are one of my reasons to think that yoruba language is the most interesting in Nigeria. Let's know yours and make your reasons known. Thanks

PoliticsRe: LASTMA, KAI Operations Are Classic Models - US Security Expert by Aderostock(m): 10:03am On Dec 22, 2012
Ogun transport management agency is inefficient. They need to emulate their Lagos counterpart for efficient delivery and service. They should visit Idi-iroko road, Otta road, Atan, Ijoko road, Akute and many roads where there is always traffic and perform their duties not only Abeokuta.
PoliticsRe: First Nigerian Newspaper, Iwe Irohin, Resuscitated 140 Years After It Died by Aderostock(m): 9:50am On Dec 22, 2012
afam4eva: I thought it was a Yoruba newspaper but i can see English content there.

Anyways, the fact that they were the first does not automatically mean that they will be patronized. They have to be up and doing to tickle people's fancy.
It wasn't a yoruba newspaper but a nigerian newspaper which had a yoruba name just like everyother newspaper suchas punch which is English name. It was even named and way established by a whiteman. Please remove that gums in your eyes and see clearly, okay?
PoliticsRe: LASTMA, KAI Operations Are Classic Models - US Security Expert by Aderostock(m): 9:36am On Dec 22, 2012
I give credits to Lastma officials for sanitizing the transport system in Lagos. Motorists both commercial and private now drive with their seatbelts fastened.
But, KAI dey fall my hand. They haven't lived up expectation, some traders are still hawking in the traffic without any form of arresting them especially our ibo brothers. Above all, they are models. Thanks Fashola! The strategist leader of our time.
