PoliticsRe: Jonathan Rates Self-high On Performance by Aderostock(m): 4:15pm On Sep 10, 2012
[quote author=Bukkyade]For Lagos, Jonathan promised to repair Apapa-Oshodi and has fulfilled this by awarding that project with expansion and drainage works to construction giants Julius Berger.
He also promised to improve on power so that industries will grow and SME's will thrive. He has already actualised this by generating 4,477 megawatts and now industries run without diesel in Lagos. He promised port reforms and has sanitized the wharfs in Lagos including the elimination of unwanted law enforcement agents.
He has also erected a dedicated bridge linking Liverpool roundabout to Tin can. The ports are being restructured to run for 24 hours.
I stay in Lagos so I'm impressed. Even the MMIA is under serious reconstruction. Baba JONA Eshe ooo
Awarding of contracts doesnt start today but the full implementatiin n maintenance are the keys. I work at the airport though the MMIA is undergoing remodelling but the Airport road that links the port with Apapa-Oshodi road is the worst in lagos. You are a liar
PoliticsRe: Fashola Declines Oba’s Chieftaincy Title by Aderostock(m): 2:22pm On Sep 09, 2012
Do you all know once Fashola descends on the most mainland cities suchas Iyana ipaja, Agege. Abule-egba, Agbado etc,the residents in these areas will be calling for his head cos he's going to demolish some structures and pave ways for motorists on the major roads where market women are selling their petty commodities? So, my governor is buying his time in those areas. When the time comes we will all witness his transfomations around dat parts of the state. Gbam!
PoliticsRe: "The President And His Social Media Friends” Olusegun Adeniyi by Aderostock(m): 11:37pm On Sep 06, 2012
Tisa: Lovely article but I doubt if GEJ will change, he (Gej) strikes me as someone that doesn't know what he is a president for, what he ought to do or even give a damn about the many many pains of the people he leads.

I voted for him whole heartedly even as people around me called me names in Lagos here for doing so and I desperately hope he will give me the reason to look them in the eye and count the many goods gej has done in 1yr however the shame I feel now as a voter that voted for him is second to none.

Is it so hard for him to know that his policies are pushing many more into poverty? Is it so difficult for him to know that nigerians don't always like accepting coins? His approval of the sanusi mad currency policy makes me see him as a monster. What happened to the last set of paper notes that were changed to coins? Can anyone tell me when last they held a N1coin? As at the time N1 n 50k were notes you could @ least buy tomtom with them, how much is tomtom today?

Gej has lost the confidence nigerians freely gave him, second only to the great Abiola. How gej gets to be this way is really beyond my reasoning cos it doesn't really add up. He owe nobody his electoral victory order than GOD and the nigerians that queued in the hot sun to cast their votes for him willingly, so which cabal or godfather is he trying to please?

Its all really sad. All my life I ve never seen a whole family man n his wife going to houses on the street they reside to ask for food for their kids cos they haven't eaten in 2days, both husband and wife were bankers sacked by Sanusi's witch hunt.

My prayer now is that GOD shd sustain Nigerians till gej tenure ends in 2015.

I hope those computer or internet attack dogs he employs will actually be truthful to themselves and their GOD and not be attacking people trying to tell the president the truth.

Mr. President, Nigerians are really hurting, give human face to ur policies.

GOD reigns.

PoliticsRe: Are The Yoruba The Number One In Religious Tolerance? by Aderostock(m): 7:37am On Aug 25, 2012
samkoro: Its called religious tolerance because moslems are not allowing christians to be governor in lagos state. Its more than 16 years now.The truth is that moslems are not tolerating christians .They are politicaly sidelining christians in all cabinets in yorubaland. That is what is called tolerance;because christians are the ones tolerating.

Nairaland does not tolerate christinity. They are always anti pastors ,anti churches ,anti christians and anti christ.Check the records of threads on the front pages and you will confirm this.
Ur hairy brain will not allow u to think before u comment. Fashola's wife is a christain and during the millitary era, oyinlola (xtian) was an administrator of lagos state. No wonder u are called 'Ajekuta ma momi' u ate APU without drinking water made u to type this rubbish

CrimeRe: Nigerian Man Jailed In South Africa For Armed Robbery by Aderostock(m): 12:49pm On Aug 24, 2012
The love for money makes every tribe in nigeria hate to do business with igbos.
1. Importation of fake drugs frm china n india
2. Importation of fake/ substandard devices eg electronics, spare parts, phones, computer accessories etc
3. Trafficking of illicit drugs from Nigeria to south Africa to malaysia to singapore to brazil to india to now mexica
4. Emigration of their young boys to every part of Nigeria to sell anything in the traffic jam to commuters/ motorists
TravelRe: What Are The Most RACIST Countries? by Aderostock(m): 1:07pm On Aug 22, 2012
Donxavier: Tribalism/Ethnicity.

I agree that extreme tribalism takes the same offensive form as extreme racism but there are some distinct differences. Tribalism is unrelated to one's biology and as such flexible and transformable. People everywhere change or enhance their ethnicity by learning about and assimilating other culture. Ethnic/Tribal identity are learned forms of behaviour and it is acquired.
If an Hausa hates me cos am yoruba I can decide to learn the culture of the Hausas and become accepted by them. Tribalism is a culture thing and as such can be learned. I can learn their ways, act like them, think and talk like them until I am literarily them.
Not so with Racism. Your Race is innate and unalterable. I said it earlier you can't change your skin color, it's the way you are born and it's no fault of yours.

I can still be accepted by a tribalist because as long as I assume their cultural identity, then there is no problem. But the problem with the Racist is that I can never be like them biologically and as long as I don't look like them biologically, I can't be accepted.
Donxavier, u have said it all. A big gbam for u

PoliticsImagine! Nigeria Without Importation Of Fake Products by Aderostock(op): 6:27pm On Aug 21, 2012
People say Nigeria economy is this and that, but the citizenries are not doing good but harm. The lastest stats that came out recently showed that 50% of the imported products are fake or substandard, ranging from drugs, spare parts, electronics and electric appliances others are mobile phones and their accessories. I begin to wonder how Nigeria Economy will be without all these criminal acts. Nigerians, we are doing ourselves
PoliticsOgun State: The Fastest Growing State Economically by Aderostock(op): 9:15am On Aug 20, 2012
Ogun state:It is not a doubt that many regions in this state have been experiencing economic stability with the bombardment of industries in recent years and this days. Not just industries but multinatiinals suchas Unilever,Nestle,Gsk glaxosmith,Nestle foods,De-united Foods,Consolidated breweries,Nigeria distilleries,Emzor, Lafarge cement,Dangote cement,Flour mills and many more that I can put here.with these, everyone will agree with me Ogun state is indeed industrial powerhouse aside Lagos in Nigeria.
