FamilyRe: I've Been Combing My Conscience, was I Wrong? I Need Someone To Help Analyse This by adesbreath: 11:30pm On May 12, 2015
nickibarb:
Yes, we have a maid. that's why he felt I will come back in his absence to take the kids.

my tone in letting my MIL know was more like the first scenario you put out, i wish i could screen grab it for you to see. i was totally calm cos like I said, I really respect her and i'm pretty easygoing.

It wasn't really key seizure per say, we have a place in the house where we keep all our keys, door, car keys and all. he simply went there and took them away. the wallet and fall on the table were the ones i didn't see coming, it just happened so fast.

my MIL didn't take my parent's calls because she had told them that as a church marriage counsellor, she is of the opinion that couples should keep things between themselves so if they wanted her to interfere in a marriage, she wasn't willing to talk to them.

I'm sure my husband would rather have me have a good relationship with his mother cos he's really close to her but surprisingly, he hasn't brought it up since that day, and I haven't either
I am wondering if every couple keep things between themselves who she now counsels. Just the way u are struggling to understand what went down and seeking our advise that's the way a mother should counsel her children and point them back to the right direction interfering in a couples marriage is very far from advising them,it shows you care and want the best for them in their marriage because marriage is hard work only tough people remain there. I wish you good luck in ur reconciliation. If being foolish is the price of peace find foolish rub it on ur face and have your peace, but be very careful because dead men say nothing, your children that your fighting for might end up with ur hubby or his family. Take care.

Dear God, not that I have any reason not to like buhari or I like him, but I feel he should win this coming elections so that Jonathan will know that there is a price for his severe apathy and his slow ways and many other character he possesses. I once admired him because he was humble and said he had no shoes and looked determined to change the plight of the common Nigerian. He lied on CNN that we now have constant light and said that stealing is not corruption he has allowed his wife to control him and manipulate his office, Nigeria has remained the biggest animal farm in the world. Dear God I am praying that if buhari becomes our leader tomorrow and he treats us bad May you disorganized his office and set fire to his seat so he will not be able to treat us bad and make us cry louder than we are crying now. This is my prayer o lord from a sincere heart. Please pray for Nigeria don't insult me thanks.

coogar: fact is - i don't even know you exist!

Am Sorry for you, no wonder your agruements are baseless and childish, this Forum is for people who can affect people with their thoughtful and carefully written words, continue being Rude and bashful, afterall its a facelesss Forum you don't exist.

then she would have to look for another evidence. if something is true, some dots would connect. text messages, call logs, etc can be extracted as evidence.

but you would have to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the charge is correct before you can get a conviction and the accused does not need to say a word until he involves a lawyer or until his case is opened in court. people get arrested and answer "no comments" @ the police station until evidence is produced. you of all people should know that.

my parents would ask him how he knew i was the one that took it - he would have to produce his evidence. his evidence would be to frisk my bag or my pocket and if no money is found, he is in big soup! you just don't go around accusing people cos you can - it's awful!

i did not call you a bumbling oaf....
don't play the victim - i said if ese(hypothetical) comes out later and she says everything was a hoax, won't that make you look like a bumbling oaf considering the fact that you had believed her and you were casting aspersions at pastor biodun?

whether my argument is flawed or partisan is a moot point, i don't argue to please anyone - God forbid i kowtow the majority especially nigerians on issues like this. whenever i see nigerians arguing towards the left, more often than not, arguing towards the right is the solution

if nigerians get it right all the time, our country won't be as bad as it is - so i am not with y'all's herd mentality.

FamilyRe: Your Experience During Childbirth In Nigeria by adesbreath: 10:20am On Jul 11, 2013
steph7: Reading the experiences here, have inspired me to work harder. I must not have my babies in Nigeria. The experiences here are pretty scary, giving birth is already a scary experience adding lack of equipment and nonchalant staff is almost a suicide recipe. Years ago my friend gave birth in a teaching hospital in PH, and the midwife was slapping her during labour when she was trying to push.
First consultant is a lovely hospital in obalende, I almost died when I delivered my first child in ST IVES. Information is the key. Trust in God.
