Gunmen who attacked a Delta police station in military uniforms, reportedly left two policemen dead and many others who were on duty at the time of the attack, injured.

Confirming the incident which occurred by 2a.m on Saturday, multiple sources alleged that many of those injured in the Delta Police Station, were in critical condition. It was gathered that the gunmen attack at Aboh Police Station in the Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State, left the community in confusion. 

The police armoury was also broken into in the attack, and the suspected gunmen carted away ammunition and sophisticated weapons.

Whatever Tunubu/Fashola started Ambode improved on them. He did not start Lawma but he tried to improve on it. He stopped the nuisance attitude of Lasma and VIO in Lagos. Simply put we have the so called private sector operators who prefer to continue using open and rickety vehicles for their refuse collection business. Visionscape is there to improve on whatever shortcomings there are. Our people want to continue doing the same things and expecting different results. We have refuse all over the place because the operators are in court with government. Clearly the outlook of Lagos is changing as the man tries his very best.

Tinubu started the Lagos - Badagry highway issue just before he left. Fashola spent 8 years. Ambode has spent 3.5 years with a promise to complete the project in 2022. Can the two formrr govermors swear that they did not benefit financially from the contract award of the said project?

If they do not want Ambode back, then it shows that Ambode refused to allow the collective patrimony of the people of Lagos find its was into the pockets of a few individuals. That is what I perceive, so they are making him pay for it and paving the way for the man who will do their bidding. Sanwo Olu has already promised that refuse collection will be free. How can he achieve it? Anyway APC is known to make unrealisable promises. Only those who want to be hoodwinked can continue with them. I voted APC in 2015 but with what I have seen so far from the presidency to Ekiti, Osun and Lagos, if Ambode is not chosen then my vote will surely go to Jimi Agbaje if he wins the PDP ticket.

The Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, has described Thursday’s rerun election held in Osun State as a total sham and the biggest electoral fraud in the history of the country.

Saraki, who is also a presidential aspirant in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stated this while addressing journalists during his campaign tour in Kaduna State.

The Senate President consequently called for the cancellation of the result, especially in view of the complaints made about the supplementary election.

Saraki accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of rigging the election, stressing that the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ademola Adeleke, ought to have been declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday.

This, he said, is because Adeleke had polled the highest number of votes based on the vote count on Sunday.
