*See what an Igbo neighbor sent to me* Tolerance Becoming Crime ***************************** By Dr Chinedu Akabuike adapted from Dr. Oni Gbolabo's "Tolerance Becoming Crime" 1. Why do we hate Tinubu? What for? 2. Tinubu never worked with federal or eastern Nigeria let alone stealing money from Ndi Igbo. He never worked as minister or taken any federal appointment! 3. He never joined APGA let alone sabotaging our party's interest? 4. Tinubu didn't meddle in Igbo internal affairs either! 5. Why do we call him thief? What did he steal? 6. We call Yoruba "slaves". We never reflect on what it means to be slaves in the true sense of the word. 7. We putting mouth in Lagos politics without caution, yet we have a proverb that says it is the foolish housefly that follows the corpse into the grave. 8. Can Yoruba man become an association or local government chairman in the East? Let us be sincere with ourselves. Yet we enjoy all these privileges here including Assembly membership! 9. Why asking for what we can't give? 10. We are here helping the "slaves" to develop their land. Who then is a slave? 10b. They call their city a no man's land so that we can further be enslaved slaving to develop it, and our generations are wasted gloating over mere privileges. Who is a slave. Do we actually think? 11. Can Yoruba tell Okorocha "o to gee" in Owerri? He doesn't even need it. He is too intelligent to die for a pot of ofe manu or nothing. 12. After the civil war, for many of us who were old enough to have witnessed it, the Yoruba were the first to open their arms to receive and accept us as we were, crude savages in search for means of survival. It was regardless of what we equally did to them before and during the civil war. No party to the civil war was innocent! I also remember not paying any rent among Yoruba guys without a penny for my first 3years in Lagos and another 2 years in Ibadan. 13. Can we survive Yoruba attack in Yoruba land if they actually mean to? Will an Mbaise man cooperate with the Nsukka or Afikpo, or the Imo with Anambara? 14. If we all decide to relocate at once, Babangida send me home phenomena is still in the memory of some of us who survived the incessant and uncontrollable spate of robbery across the Onitsha bridge. How many people will want to go in spide of our empty pride? 15. If Yoruba people are as foolish as we foolishly think, why agitating? How will agitating be to our benefit? 16. Why not "O to gee" in Abia, Enugu or Owerri? 17. Can a man from Abba become a commissioner or P.S. in Enugu state civil service? Yet it happened here! Why not be careful. 18. We adopted APGA and but "wisely" voted PDP. How was Tinubu our headache. Was he the cause of our downfall? Why always blame others for our inabilities and want to take glory for any small thing we think we have done well and even overblow it? 19. We claim we were so creative during the civil war. Now history. We also claim every made in Nigeria is from Abba. But go to Oyo and Oshogbo to see what "lazy" mechanics are doing quietly in the automobile industry, yet we make noise that other ethnics are either mumu or lazy except we (alagbara ma m'ero baba ole - ( _meaning the thoughtless strong man is the laziest_) most hardworking humans who cannot develop their own land unfortunately). 20. Why looking for avoidable problem? Why? 21. It was you in the north being attacked, in Malaysia being killed, in Gabon and Ghana being molested. 99.9% of Nigerians killed in South Africa are of Igbo extraction, and sometimes by fellow 'hardworking' Igbo. Why? 22. We choose Kanu and he dictates to us without consultation with any one of us. They choose Tinubu who becomes a hero among them by bowing to or adopting the choice of their majority. Why are we angry? We choose Azikwe and they choose Awolowo. How are they more mumuish followers than ourselves? Zik became a president and we gained from it, Awo was only a premier, but we are only struggling to beat their records in all ramifications including education till today. How are they mumus? We choose APGA and they choose APC, why agitating? ➡ Yoruba are yet to say Tinubu is their problem why do we want to die for nothing? Why working in APGA but planning to collect salaries in APC? I pray for the success of Biafra, but do we still remember that as Igbo we will automatically become foreigners on the streets of the Lagos we call a no Man's land? How many of us will actually want to relocate home, should Biafra actualises or if if citizenship is on the condition that you relinquish all other citizenship in Africa? I leave that answer to the individual. Nwayo nwayo biko unu. |
These are DSS operatives, except, NPF - SARS has been licensed to carry Tavor TAR 21, a 550 meters range rifle. Shooting an unharmed person that is less than 30 meters away, with such a rifle, is callous and totally inhuman. Whoever, fire the shot must be charged for murder, he is in no form of danger, why fire to kill the guy? Nigerian young men are gradually becoming endangered species in the hands of untrained NPF, SARs and DSS. While the young ladies are becoming endangered species in the hands of yahoo ++ and ritualist political god fathers. |
PointZerom:Atiku, has no basis to complain, because he didn't attend the burial of soldiers and policemen killed in Odi. He who comes to equity must come with clean hands. The issue with Nigerians, is our failure to ask questions. Our mumu don do, let's use our brains, and stop getting sentimental or carried away by the sweet talk of politicians who don't care about you. |
Atiku need to stop being petty, and tell Nigerians what, if elected, he will do for Nigeria and Nigerians. Did Atiku attended the burial of soldiers and policemen killed in Odi, when he was the vice president of Nigeria? Trying to score cheap political points will do him no good. The burial of any military personnel in combat or off combat, is a purely military affairs. Major General Harold Greene, was killed in 5th August, 2014, in Afghanistan, by a Taliban soldier. He was buried at Arlington national cemetery in the US, Obama and Joe Biden, did not attend or grace the burial. The reason why every military personnel are apolitical. |

Can any of our leaders or rulers have the love of the country - Nigeria, as exhibited by Patrice Lumume of Congo Below was his last letter to his wife before he was killed. Dear Companion, I write you these words not knowing whether you will receive them, when you will receive them, and whether I will still be alive when you read them. Throughout my struggle for the independence of my country, I have never doubted for a single instant that the sacred cause to which my comrades and I have dedicated our entire lives would triumph in the end. But what we wanted for our country — its right to an honorable life, to perfect dignity, to independence with no restrictions — was never wanted by Belgian colonialism and its Western allies, who found direct and indirect, intentional and unintentional support among certain high officials of the United Nations, that body in which we placed all our trust when we called on it for help. They have corrupted some of our countrymen; they have bought others; they have done their part to distort the truth and defile our independence. What else can I say? ‘That whether dead or alive, free or in prison by order of the colonialists, it is not my person that is important. What is important is the Congo, our poor people whose independence has been turned into a cage, with people looking at us from outside the bars, sometimes with charitable compassion, sometimes with glee and delight. But my faith will remain unshakable. I know and feel in my very heart of hearts that sooner or later my people will rid themselves of all their enemies, foreign and domestic, that they will rise up as one to say no to the shame and degradation of colonialism and regain their dignity in the pure light of day. We are not alone. Africa, Asia, and the free and liberated peoples in every corner of the globe will ever remain at the side of the millions of Congolese who will not abandon the struggle until the day when there will be no more colonizers and no more of their mercenaries in our country. I want my children, whom I leave behind and perhaps will never see again, to be told that the future of the Congo is beautiful and that their country expects them, as it expects every Congolese, to fulfill the sacred task of rebuilding our independence, our sovereignty; for without justice there is no dignity and without independence there are no free men. Neither brutal assaults, nor cruel mistreatment, nor torture has ever led me to beg for mercy, for I prefer to die with my head held high, unshakable faith, and the greatest confidence in the destiny of my country rather than live in slavery and contempt for sacred principles. History will one day have its say; it will not be the history taught in the United Nations, Washington, Paris, or Brussels, however, but the history taught in the countries that have rid themselves of colonialism and its puppets. Africa will write its own history and both north and south of the Sahara it will be a history full of glory and dignity. Do not weep for me, my companion; I know that my country, now suffering so much, ‘will be able to defend its independence and its freedom. Long live the Congo! Long live Africa! PATRICE |

All the telecom providers are making money through this fraudulent service subscription act. You're activated for unsubscribe services by the providers in a subtle way. How is this done? They send you a text message of a useless advert or promo or some funny thing, once you open the message, your line is automatically activated for the 'Content Service', and deductions starts unknowing and unending. When I discovered, the telecos have turned my number to an ATM withdrawal terminal, I employed, a stringent solution and it worked. All phones, allows you to read the first two or three lines before deciding whether to open and read completely or not. Once you get a message from any unknown number or especially short codes or service provider, and the first two or three lines point to an advert or unsolicited message, don't open the message, highlighting the message, and select the block option from the message menu list to block your phone from receiving calls and/or messages from the number or short code. I restored sanity to my top ups using the above solution. |

bignigerian:Op, it is good to let her be. I was in similar situations some years ago. Dated a lady for 4 years, we met when she was in year 1, second semester final year, she told me, she was no longer interested. I was devastated, the shock landed me in the hospital, The plan was that before she goes for her NYSC, we do the introduction and after NYSC, we do the tradition and white wedding, unknown to me, her pastor was reformatting her brain and she swallowed whatsoever she was been told. Her mum and sisters tried to convince her, but she stuck to her guns. I tried talking her out of her decision, but could not get her to change her decision. After all said and done, no change of heart, I let go and faced the future, hoping for the best. Fast forward to 2016: 15 years after her self decision to quit the relationship, I ran into her elder sister, asked about her, the elder sister told me she was doing well, but she (girlfriend) was still single. I felt very bad and disappointed. So sometimes what you can't change, you have to let go. |
Former Finance Minister: Ngozi Okonjo Iweala Speaks: I still find it funny that most people don't know why Nigeria economy went into recession, they love the incompetent lies of Lai Mohammed about the past government ruining everything. It's also myopic to think that if Jonathan were to still be in power, we would be worse off. The truth about Nigeria's recession is this; it was caused by the president's unguided rhetoric and uncultured body language. Firstly, there is nothing we are buying today that we weren't buying 5 years ago, therefore it's not our purchase that put pressure on Naira but withdrawal of funds by foreign investors. After the election, the president created instability with his unguided statements about how everyone is corrupt and how everyone is going to jail. The instability made foreign investors to liquidate their investment and change their money to dollars. In the process of trying to flee, they were willing to buy dollars at any price, which lead to high exchange dollar rate. Even though some of them were not ready to run away, but want their money in dollars to save their investments from devaluation, the president gave a bad signal by banning deposit of foreign currency into domiciliary accounts. That was enough for free market believers to see the draconian handwriting on the wall, that was the beginning of dollar rush. To make matters worse, the president came up with another outrageous policy of rationing dollar to certain sectors and blocking many sectors out. That was the nail in the coffin which facilitated the emergence of free FALL. In the end, foreign investors took over $80B out of the economy within a short period and everything went down to free fall. To those who believe it will be worse if Jonathan is still there, you are all wrong. Policy continuity and political stability will not let billions of dollars leave our shores within such tiny time frame. Even though the government might have income shortage, the private sector will weather the storm by their confidence in the market. The fear of the unknown created by PMB is responsible for the economic downturn not low oil price. Interest rate in America is currently at 0.5% while it is 12% in Nigeria. JP Morgan Chase will not mind borrowing $50 billion from Feds at 0.5 and put in Nigeria for return of %2000 profit. Citi bank will do the same, likewise US Bank Corp. Chase gave Buhari warning about the repercussions of his fixing policy before they pulled out, but his illiterate cyber warriors and misseducated e-soldiers said JPMORGAN can go to hell, they no longer believe in economic metrics since their messiah is in charge. Funny enough they are all suffering today because of the stupid policy, but they find relief by blaming it on past administration and Gucci appetite of average Nigerians. For your information, if your president "continues" with his unguided rhetoric, Naira will go down to N1000/1 $. But we thank God, he is no longer talking. |
@OP I had the same issue some years ago and was treated successfully. The treatment procedure may be painful to him, but if he can endure the pain and carry it out religiously, within four weeks, the keloid will dry up and scalp restored to default within six to eight weeks. It is at no cost whatsoever Steps to treatment 1. Get a matured and fresh aloe vera plant - a finger can be used for two to three days depending on usage. Please when cutting the aloe vera plant, ensure you cut it from the base. 2. Get a new razor blade, use the razor to scape the surface of each boil point on his scalp. Press each point to push out pus and/or blood - this is where he will experience some pains. My wife helped with step 2, she didn't have pity me, when she scrapping and pressing out the pus and blood. She would say, better to endure the pain and look good, than enjoy the pain and get disfigured. 3. Finally, when step 2 is completely, cut a small piece of the aloe vera, divide it into two equal part to expose the gel on both side, rub the aloe vera gel evenly and vigorously on his head, with emphasis on the affected part, and leave it to dry. It is advisable to carry out the exercise in the evening, so that when he wakes up the following day, after bath, he applies the aloe vera gel on his head again before going out. Step one and two not required in the morning. It is important to carry out the procedure at least 3 times in a week for the first two weeks. After the first two weeks you will his scar healing up. Hope I've been able to assist you and your brother. |

Marriage is the only school where you get the Certificate before you start. It's also a school where you will never graduate. It's a school without a break or a free period. It's a school where no one is allowed to drop out. It's a school you will have to attend every day of your life. It's a school where there is no sick leave or holidays. It's a school founded by God: 1.On the foundation of love. 2.The walls are made out of trust. 3.The door made out of acceptance. 4.The windows made out of understanding 5.The furniture made out of blessings 6.The roof made out of faith. Be reminded that you are just a student not the principal. God is the only Principal. Even in times of storms, don't be unwise and run outside. Keep in mind that, this school is the safest place to be. Never go to sleep before completing your assignments for the day. Never forget the C-word...Communicate. Communicate with your classmate and with the Principal. If you find out something in your classmate (spouse) that you do not appreciate, remember your classmate is also just a student not a graduate, God is not finished with him/her yet. So take it as a challenge and work on it together. Do not forget to study the Holy Book (the main textbook of this school). Start each day with a sacred assembly and end it the same way. Sometimes you will feel like not attending classes, yet you have to. When tempted to quit find courage and continue. Some tests and exams may be tough but remember, the Principal knows how much you can bear and yet it's a school better than any other. It's one of the best schools on earth; joy, peace and happiness accompany each lesson of the day. Different subjects are offered in this school, yet love is the major subject. After all the years of theorizing about it, now you have a chance to practice it. To be loved is a good thing, but to love is the greatest privilege of them all. Marriage is a place of love, so love your spouse. |

My Dear President, We elected you to be our president bases on your campaign mantra 'Change', but we forgot to ask what type of change - Positive change or Negative Change. It is obvious the change you promised us is not to take us to the promise land but deep into Egypt. You compounded the situation by giving us Pharaoh like ministers, who have all failed to recognize our Joseph. Mr. President, like the Israelites in Egypt, Nigerians are crying loud that there is hunger, hardship and wanton destruction of lives and properties in the land, and nobody in government seems to be listening to the agonizing cries of the people. The Libyans and the Syrians didn't cry because of hunger or hardship, they cried for change of government, and experienced unimaginable disaster, hunger and hardship. Nigerians are not calling for change of government, yet experiencing Libya and Syria like situation in Kaduna, Plateau, Venue and other parts of the country. We are yelling and calling for a total reversal of this downward economy trend, with policies that will restructure and rebounce the economy and, the political will to end the hunger, hardship and wanton destruction of lives and properties in the land. Mr. President, Nigerians have stopped the suffering and smiling, they are now suffering and crying in the midst of plenty. Please don't let Nigeria be another Venezuela. |
halfcurrent:Tinted permit is absolutely free. If you're asked to pay or charged for it, all you've to do is call the number on the NPF police site and report to them that you're being ask to pay. Secondly, if you've done your capturing and it wasn't approve within 48 hours, your application may be having one of the following issues - 1. Your license plate is fake, not in the FRSC database. 2. Your vehicle particulars is not genuine. 3. Your scan and attached document is blur, making it unreadable. 4. Lastly, the attached document, though, attached but returned blank on the NPF database. I did my biometric capturing in Lagos, but my application remained unapproved for over 2 weeks. Fortunately, a work assignment took me to Abuja and I the opportunity to make inquiry on why my application was not approved. I went to the police headquarter in Abuja, met the officers in charge (the guys are well mannered, educated and respectful, infact, I tagged them as ''Corporate Police Officers). They listened to my complaint, collected the print out, pronto login into their application, only to discovered that all the attached documents for the vehicles were blank. I was asked if I had the originals with me, so that they can assist me to scan and attached to the application. Unfortunately, it wasn't with me. but had the scanned document on my laptop. I was advised to scan and reattached the documents again to my application. However, he carried out a check to confirm the originality of the plate number, the officer logged into the FRSC and VIO database to validate what was on the printout - 1. VIN number 2. The address - Address on your application against what was on FRSC database 3. Your plate number. 4. Your proof of ownership - Majority of proof of ownership are fake. All was found to be ok, and he told me to give him a call once I complete the reattachment. Immediately, I got back to hotel, I reattached the scan document, called him, and within 24 hours it was approved. I picked up my tinted permit in Lagos on arrival. Note - If your documents are ok, approval is given within 48 hours. My issue with the application process is the inability of the software used by NPF to bust out email to the applicant, if there is/are issues with the application. |
priceaction:Thanks bro, some folks are just out to misinform others. |
gare:The process is free and your tinted permit application is approved in Abuja. There is nothing EFCC or the government can do if at your friend at his own free will you decided to pay some people to get it done. It is free and can attest to that. Below is my experience I had the same issue, applied 6th of Jan, anytime I checked the status remains "Awaiting Approval". Fortunately, I travelled to Abuja and decided to go to the Force Headquarter to know the reason or reasons for the delay. When I got there, I was told that they had some challenges with the server and they are working on it. And once the issue is fixed, my the application would be approved. True to the officer's words, I got a call from him four days later that my application has been approved. If you want to see corporate police in Nigeria, please go to the Force headquarter in Abuja, from the entrance gate you're accorded due respect. When you meet the officers manning or in charge of the biometrics, they all well mannered, educated, and people friendly. Infact, they address you as Sir and Madam. I asked him to give me reasons that may cause one's application from not being approved. 1. If any of your particulars are fake - proof of ownership and insurance (the insurance that is accepted is the Online insurance) 2. Fake plate number - To verify whether your plate number is genuine or fake, right in my presence, the office connected to the FRSC database to check whether my plate number was on the FRSC database or not. 3. When the attached document is blurred. 4. I think the address you filled while applying for the tinted permit as a role to play because the office asked me my address, checked it against what was on the application and against what was on the FRSC database. I'm not too sure of the role it plays but was asked. 5. If your biometrics was not well captured in the state command If during verification, all you documents are valid, the application would be approved within 48 hours, but if you default in any of these, your application will not be approved and will forever be in Awaiting Status, your best option will be to find your way to Force Headquarter in Abuja because the officer at the state command cannot resolve such issue. Thank God, immediately I got back to lagos, I went to the uncorporate police headquarter of Nigeria(Lagos state Police Command) to pick it up the tinted permit, from the entrance gate na embarrassment, to Oga I no see your hand. |
