I did a paid call to home office. I don't think you want to rely on vfs. Not heard one good thing about them since they took over.

I applied for my inlaws visiting visa on 7th of this month. But since the transition to VFS global I've been unable to track. I called them today and they said decision has been made, tho i forgot to ask when but i didn't receive any mail. Is there any chance it is a positive decision?

Kindly advice sir/ma. MA and dependent applied together, got visa since 3rd of August. Both moved to VAC same time, collection message same time. MA received BRP mail yesterday morning but dependant yet to receive. Is it normal for both to receive In different times or I should give them a reminder. Pls advice.

It's not a direct mail, you have to fill a form on the refund page. It costs around 3pounds.

On June 19th, I cancelled my student visa application after paying both the visa and IHS fees. According to the UKVI website, I should receive a refund within 28 days. However, on July 2nd, I sent a paid email to inquire about the refund and was told to wait for the 28-day period to be over. I did not receive a refund or any further communication after the 28-day period, so I sent another paid email. I was informed that I would be contacted within 15 days, which is next week Tuesday, but I have not yet received any communication regarding the refund. What should I do if I do not hear from them within the 15-day period?

I cancelled my previous application because it was indicated in the MA application that I will depend on her, Hence, I used the same account but did not apply together as the money will not be enough for both of us anymore. Now I want to apply again for MA alone using a separate POF. Kindly advise on what to select in these areas.

*Will they be travelling with you to the UK? (We plan to travel together tho).
*Does anyone rely on you for financial support?

DEPENDANT APPLICATION
What should I as a dependant select in these areas?
* Will you be travelling together?

If MA applies today and I start my POF today, will she need to have her funds in her account as of when I apply?

**IHS for main applicant 919usd. But for me it's bringing 2757. For a year course that runs from 18sept 23 to 30 Sept 2024.
Did I do anything wrong to get that figure? Is anyone else getting the same amount?

I cannot click on section 6 without fulfilling IHS condition. I thought of creating another account but afraid this is already linked to the M.A profile and may cause issue later on. Is it advise able i mail them to withdraw the application then i start again with another account?

Check page 879 of this thread, IHS fees vary tho. Google search "UK visa fee" also google search "IHS calculator" to get an idea of how much you will be paying for IHS.

No, it's like starting the process again. But this time they do it for you. It takes 2 days to be scheduled, but if you call them you will get date faster. Like the person above said, they'll be glad to help if you call them.

Use another email or you send a mail with your passport, preferred date and time. You will be given a ticket. You can wait 2 days or you call customer service give them the ticket number you will be scheduled for your preferred date or next available date.

Well, to the best of my knowledge and what I read from the offer letter. They have some certain conditions that may require not paying deposit if "student received a scholarship or sponsorship from a recognized body by the university of ESSEX”. Secondly, based on past offers received from other schools they always give conditional offer to be made unconditional after deposit Is fulfilled, and the deposit part on the application portal is quite empty. I can't still say if i will be required to pay tho. But it is said i will get CAS once i accept the offer.

Good day to everyone here.
I received an unconditional offer from Essex, a scholarship of 4500 pounds, and I won't have to pay a deposit.
But the remaining tuition is 16k, I'm still in the mix if it's a good deal or wait for other schools with lower tuition that may require a deposit. Kindly share your thoughts please.

Some schools are slow in making decisions, just bear with them and be patient. I applied to more than 10 schools, few replied in two weeks.
Some are yet to say anything since jan.

I applied to three schools for September intake, around 10-14thFebruary (BEFORE THE SCHOOLS' OFFICIAL DEADLINES).
However, it's been over one month now and I have not gotten any response from either of the schools.
Is this normal? Or smth is wrong somewhere.
Even if the admission isn't successful, I expect they'd atleast send a "rejection" mail.

I am just bothered, cos the I see people already processing form A, and I I know the earlier the better. Especially for September 2023 intake.
