Jonathan is not a Christian at all. There are even rumours that he also consults Islamic Marabouts abroad, he went to Israel also to pray at the wall in the Judaist tradition that is not in line with the injunctions of Christ.

He will not get our votes. To be fair to Jonathan, I don't think he realized what was happening under Okonjo with her borrow and spend agenda. Too many shady consultants are confusing the govt with figures that are skewed against truth. We shall respond with our votes.

Instead of those unless supporter of APC to tell us wat Nigerians will benefit from them. They keep on making noise and condemning Jonathan.
Jonathan is condemnable and he knows it. The word at the highest level of PDP is that the coming elections will be tough. I think it is an admission of massive loss and failure.
Politics › Re: OPNION: See The Reason Why APC Is Worst And More Corrupt Than PDP by Adminisher: 10:16am On Dec 22, 2014
We accept your underlying premise that PDP is corrupt. We can now debate whether APC is corrupt like PRO. I think mathematically you are implying what we already know.

Rightly so. Even when you try to sit on the fence, the case against Jonathan forces you to the side of Buhari.

if not voting for Buhari is what you see as "non-right thinking", then you are pushing me to actually make up my mind on GEJ.Democracy is all about choice and where we have party A,B and C,the voter will choose anyone he/she likes.choosing A against B n C doesnt make him a "non-right thinking" person.

have a nice day,Brother.
This is political language in election season. Okupe called Buhari a man from the past last week, I have heard him called terrorist many times, some people in the papers even said because he left office without money he is a failure who embraces poverty and wont manage the economy properly. So the words 'right thinking' should be viewed in that context... political language.

Is it true that power did not improve at all in the past 4 years?
Is it true that there are no infrastructure to improve economy and yet we are the largest economy in Africa?
Is it true that sincere efforts have not been made to fight the terrorists?.

NO RIGHT THINKING NIGERIAN WOULDN'T WANT GOODLUCK JONATHAN BACK
Power has not improved and you know it. Obasanjo left 4000MW installed capacity and 2500MW actual power generation. Jonathan is leaving 4500MW capacity and 2950MW actual generation after spending $6bn on top of the $16bn spent by Obj. This is daylight ROBBERY. They also privatized NEPA assets and we can't find the money, which is STEALING. The guys who bought the assets were given another grant in billions and they have just given N500million back th Jonathan, this is CORRUPTION.

Boko Haram: You and I know this was the prime failure of Jonathan. The weakest, cowardliest and most incapable president for 2013 and 2014. Our girls are still missing, we had four or more mutinies in the army, soldiers wives went on strike, soldiers ran away from 18year old Boko Haram boys, defence budget was stolen, no air force, Book Haram seized territory and hoisted flags. Last week they abducted more women. In many countries this is a no brainer the CIC would resign but in Nigeria mediocrity is driven by tribalism and fear.. in this case fear of the north. Because of fear of the north, some visionless Nigerians will take the kind of service and national disgrace they should not take from an elected government.

Infrastructure: All hogwash. The successful ones were pushed by the Chinese who want to sell their stock of steel and prefab concrete and loan us money at interest. The trains are still not running but we have beautiful pictures on our desktops. The Niger bridge was promised the east and not done but Dumbo jobbed them again. It appears that there is nothing Dumbo cannot use to job these erstwhile intelligent people. Anyway no promised roads, seaport and land port for the east.

On The economy: Please don't believe figures. The economy was rebased meant that the basis of calculation of GDP was changed to correct for some things. What it meant was that Nigeria had been the largest economy in Africa even before Jonathan joined NDDC not to talk of joining politics. What the rebasing has done negatively is qualified Nigeria for more loans which Okonjo would like, Jonathan would hate but would be too afraid to complain. Recall that it is Okonjo that presents all the budgets now as the president is too afraid and does not even understand the figures.

We are not buying this thrash. People are trying to deceive the electorate that has moved on. Building of CBN offices, 1 MVA station.
One of the worst regimes we had was Abacha, if you listed what the ordinary PTF achieved during that regime with much less money it would be three times this list. All the infrastructure projects are things that should run through most administrations. It is only in Naija that a gov't claims credit for building roads that we should have had in 1960.

CORRECT GENERAL.
Only tribalism, irrational fear of the north, love of corruption and love of cluelessness would make a full blown adult stay in queues under sun and rain to vote for someone stealing from his grandchildren even before they are born. Jonathan has not found our girls, has stolen $20bn, has accumulated a debt of $39bn, made Boko Haram more powerful, disgraced our army, corrupted our generals and made idiots of young Nigerians still voting for him.

This is the clueless old man who rigged governors forum elections against Amaechi. Making your son a commissioner in your cabinet shows a lack of political intelligence but since he is on Jonathan's side I dont expect intelligence. Mama Peace probably even advised him to do this.
No wonder death and destruction is being heaped on the party in most states. The PDP has become a joke and a chaffe.

The south south will not do jack. Do you know what a naval blockade means, have you lived under a state of emergency before?.
Do you want hunger and disease in the SS?. Do you want to live under warlords and militants that the FG will be hunting down vigorously? How united is the south south, imlived there for 26 years, the Itsekiri- Ijaw, Nembe-Kalabari, Ogoni-Bonny wars will blaze uncontrolled for many years. If a wicked federal gov't succeeds Buhari in 2019 they may even play factions against each other as Obasanjo and Odilli were doing to the utter destruction of the region. Please don't even go there, it is a losing game for the SS.
Buhari will win and nothing will happen, the south south will bloom and everybody will ask what their son did with his six years in office.

You are speaking rubbish. Jonathan is the slave trying to enslave. $39bn national debt in Six years. Obasanjo left no debts. Northerners are not slavers, they had a period they were perpetuating themselves in power nationally, grabbing federal offices without merit and destroying their social system but all that has stopped. We need a northerner back in presidency so that our national diversity will be rich. Jonathan has screwed up royally and is on the way down.

Lolzzzzzz
You type this thing in a frenzy and end in fiendish laugh which betrays unnecessary bitterness. The middle belt is no more for Jonathan. The PDP governors there are old corrupt and on election day will not achieve much. Buhari does not even need a route through the middle belt to win the presidency anyway. As for your oil please speak for yourself. Kalabaris have oil, Nembe people have oil, Ekulama people have oil, Gbaramatu people have oil, Itsekiri and so on. Our major fields are offshore anyway and nobody exports oil without the federal navy which market is failing everyday anyway and would soon come down to $40.

This is an unnecessary cyclical argument. God made Jonathan president even Buhari knows that. God has decided to REMOVE Jonathan using our worldly democratic system and there is nothing anybody can do about it. The same helplessness that the Yaradua family felt watching their Dad and husband fading away for Jonathan to assume office is the same type of helplessness that Jonathan will feel as power is removed from him and given to Buhari.

Truly, APC is a waste duct of PDP, a duct through which PDP shoots out those now unwanted people that hugely contributed to under-development in Nigeria.

Because of GEJ's insistence on good governance, those conservative PDP rejects rushed out to APC.

GEJ has contributed more positively to Nigeria's growth than all his predecessors. Only thing is that these religious/ethnic bigots resident in other people's land/country refuse to see Jonathan's good works.

And Jonathan did all the good jobs in Nigeria not withstanding the war declared against his administration by ethnic/religious bigots.
You write your falsehood with great feeling. Jonathan is the worst president in Nigerian history. Yes I have seen half completed airports, three quarter completed roads, over invoiced rail lines that we have not even started to pay for but I will never ever vote Jonathan.

Power WILL return to the north, go to middle belt, south east, again to south south, then south west based on what the north is negotiated with to give. You are wasting posts when you say power mist not return to the north. They determine where power goes in Nigeria. They are the base upon which the other tribes are sprinkled. Stop deceiving yourself. The north put Jonathan in power electorally and they have decided to remove him that was why Buhari won APC primaries.

It was illegal to have done this. If the states did not agree why were marketers paid. What special status do they have that they were preferentially paid over other government creditors. Nigeria is owing about $30bn internal debt and a significant part of this is to contractors.

Is this really strange? Obviously No! President Goodluck cannot win the core North no matter how hard he tries. Even if he had done more than he did for them, when Buhari sneezes, any other person shivers there. Luckily for Mr President, he can still do much without the core north.

If there is any region PGEJ has to squander the N21bn campaign donation on now, it is the extremely polarized South-West. I am afraid these ones will decide the next president.
There is no polarisation of the west that supports a Jonathan presidency. Buhari is more popular than him. Buhari is actually more popular than APC itself in the west. You have to realise with that name the driver of the vote is completely different.

I was going through an article where it was stated that dr alex ekwueme the igbo vice president under was the defacto leader while shagari was just a stooge.

was this the real cause of fulani truncating a fulani led government in the name of fighting corruption...
no wonder alex was put in kirikiri while shagari was relaxing in his house.
ojukwu who was not in govt was also whisked away to kirikiri.
some northerners were taken also just to serve as decoration to the actual colouration.
since that coup....that was the closest an igbo man has gotten to the presidency.
please i need clarification
So you were not even born then?. This is the big problem with Nigeria, so many young people who have listened to lies from their parents.
Ekwueme and Shagari were in the same boat. Non of them had power. Ekwueme was and is still a gentleman It was Umaru Dikko controlling the economy, Okadigbo was the most influential Ibo man and had influence over Shagari because Shagari liked him, Akinloye was NPN chairman and a very good rigger of elections, he was also influential.
Nobody gave a damn about Ibos, please stop deceiving yourselves. The regime was chop, chop and chop. They brought Ojukwu the Ibo Biafra leader into the country for the first time after the civil war and he promptly joined NPN, leaving the Ibo party NPP. Okadigbo who was even more prominent in NPN the Hausa party than the VP (Ekwueme) used to abuse the great ZIk in public.
It is all there in history if you want to check. Awolowo wrote a letter to Zik for support to break the Northern hold on Nigeria but Zik refused.
Please read through the history and tell me if I am wrong. The Ibos were not very sensible during the second republic, they were all about money and abusing their elders and kowtowing to the north. Which makes me laugh when i see all these anti north sentiments because of an ordinary Ijaw man. When Buhari overthrew them the first thing he planned was how to bring Umaru Dikko (a fellow northerner) to justice in Nigeria, finally they had him kidnapped on a London street, drugged and put inside a crate to be shipped to Nigeria. Only God saved him and some customs officials in the UK discovered the crate on time and freed him. Please read history well, think independently and make good judgements.

Edo is definitely Buhari. Oshiomole is there and the entire northern Edo is Muslim, some people have not traveled Nigeria and they will be posting thrash. To give Ekiti to Jonathan because of Fayose is very childish, you need to talk to a Yoruba man from the area. Jonathan actually admitted that he withheld federal presence from the state because of being insulted. Imo is the only bone of contention but I am sure APC wins narrowly.
