Edo and Tarawa are not for Jonathan. You are displaying too much faith in what you are selling but we are not buying. Also Jonathan is not winning any single state in the south west. The big names don't matter. For the SW, there is the remotest of possibilities that PDP wins one more governorship race but even there wherever it may be ....the core of the people will still switch to Buhari/Osinbajo for presidency.
Buhari is not an unknown quantity in the SW and the APC governors are there to give things a little nudge.

The fact of tribe and religion driving the voting is only partly true. The candidacy of Buhari is actually targeting the perceived weaknesses of Jonathan. No other candidate could have achieved that. You could almost list all GEJ's weaknesses and find a Buhari quality that appears to tackle it.

Abia state is a serious indictment of the PDP. I think they have given APC a free ticket here. Mindless stealing by cultists and shady characters. I was a living witness to Okonjo Iweala taking the world bank president to Aba during het first tenure as Obasanjo' s Minster of Finance. You would think successive governments would have followed up to ensure the infrastructure was developed quickly enough to support the potential industrial goldmine that the city would have become but leave it to Kalu, Orji and PDP to really tuck things up royally.

Let me also remind you that this same Jonathan is fighting a battle against an enemy that feels that they own Nigeria because to them the Nigeria you know is their birthright and farmland and they are holding Nigeria and Nigerians by the jugular.
To solve this problem is simple ,call your kiths and kin to order because we here in the Niger Delta are watching and have come to understood their modus operandi.
If Jonathan is unceremoniously booted out either by your action or inaction we would react.FACT.
This is local beer parlour thrash you have posted. You people keep saying this thing tor every mistake that Jonathan makes an it is getting annoying. There is only one commander in chief, please stop making excuses for him.

was it GEJ that kidnapped them?
do you think he is not doing anything about it?
Well he spent sometime wondering whether they were really kidnapped or whether it is personal enemies (obj has revealed that he thinks he has plenty) who planned a fake kidnapping to upset his divine destiny to rule Nigeria for as long as he and Patience want to. The last time he seriously wanted to really do something he was duped by some smarter fake Boko boys who have been paraded by DSS. So for now nothing (absolutely nothing) is being done.

Since when did ''almost completed'' become an achievement? Fact is in sheer economic terms, Nigerians are far better off today than they were in 1985. Incomes and living standards have improved by all measurements. In the 1980s university lecturers could barely afford to ride cars, food (especially meat) was expensive, etc etc. Nigeria Airways may not be flying but we have ARIK and other indigenous airlines now competing to bring prices down, our airports are a lot better now, and the railway system has been revitalised, with China recently signing a $12 billion contract to build a massive coastal line in the south. A high speed standard gauge line between Abuja and Kaduna is virtually completed. In 1985 Buhari was busy cancelling the Lagos metro line, while today, the initial phases of the Lagos metro are close to completion under civilian rule. Today we have indigenous car manufacturers like INNOSON, computer manufacturers like Zinox, and even mobile phone makers in the country. Heck we even have the first black built satellite hovering in space today. I think we've come a long way since '85.
The metroline Buhari cancelled was unviable and could only have been completed without foreign loans at cut throat interest. Please always verify your facts. The project had not even secured full right of way and land acquisition. To put it into perspective IBB overthrew GMB to correct the regime's non listening attitude, why did he not finish the metroline. Even Jakande who started it later became like prime minister to Abacha, why did he not revisit the project?. Please always apply depth in your thinking. As for high speed rail and other high fallutin infrastructure projects let me let you in on a secret. Anybody who becomes governor or president today will meet in office hundreds of proposals for everything under the sun coming from the best of the best of manufacturers of trains, power plants, fertilizer plants, refineries, solar plants et.c.. They will send you the proposals direct from the corporate offices in Europe, US and China along with offers of financing so you don't even have to worry about the money. Even the lowest IQ monkey can pick and choose but it is not that simple and white elephant projects are the norm. The only positive difference individual governments can make is in the project management capacity of that government and also its ability to link the isolated projects in a way that provides synergy. The only gov t that knows what it is doing in that respect is the LASG.
Most of Jonathan's infrastructure projects are being done with Chinese Exim bank loans, sometimes they still vote money for the same projects chop it after sharing with legislators. I want you to do an independent investigation of many instances of double entry tricks like this littered all over the budgets of the Jonathan admin. Some projects started as PPP but it is the federal government that is paying for it from a foreign loan and the profits are going to private pockets after completion. Pockets that have not contributed a dime.
So good luck on your fancy high speed rail and many thanks to China that developed a cheap technology for fast rail and who have to sell their excess steel that wad becoming a problem. We also have to thank them for their marketing skill and financing offers which package offers are extended for almost all other countries that are also buying it including parts of Europe.

Nigeria's 1983, 84 and 85 was better than now.
Check out the graduates of that era, the universities, civil service, the standard of roads that were built.
All our refineries were under expansion or completed. Not a single refinery has been built since then.
Nigeria airways was flying, NNSL had all the 22 ships.
There was Ajaokuta almost completed.
Petrochemical plant almost completed.
To make matters even more interesting, the Nigerian army and air force then were actually stronger than now even with a much lower budget.
The joke is on any young man who thinks the past was worse than now.
If I were Buhari I would actually run with that message, ..'bring back the glorious and dynamic past'..

Jonathan cannot win North Central. I don't know why people think religion is the only issue.
Tribalism is another important issue in the north as well as the vote pulling brand od Buhari/Idiagbon.

Jonathan will do well in Lagos and Ogun. Ondo and Ekiti will be disappointing for him.

Imo votes for Buhari will not be up to that number however I think he will win there.
Why people still think Imo State people follow other mainstream Ibos is still strange to me. GEJ by name, life orientation and behaviour is close to Anambra/Enugu/Ebonyi than Imo/Abia and that fact is not lost to people.

They read the mood of Nigerians well. The two issues are CORRUPTION and INSECURITY. They have brought the general who will solve corruption problems and the VP who will sanitize government and JAIL corrupt people.
There is mortal fear not only in the PDP but the entire sleazy socio-economic corruption construct put in place by a well connected minority to steal the collective patrimony of all Nigerians.

God's annoiting on Jonathan ended in 2014. We actually concede that God wanted him in office to do certain things which a lot of people say he did not do. He has been told that his annoiting has expired and should have chosen any other Nigerian from any tribe to push up within the PDP. What we have now is a manifestation of greed and fear of being jailed for corruption. If we allow him in 2015, he won't leave in 2019 for the same reason he is not leaving now and everyone knows it and some people are ready o pay the supreme sacrifice and burn the country if he does not. That is why I am actually very worried for him. His future does not look too bright at the moment.

Buhari and Idiagbon did some very innovative things to the Nigerian economy at a time we were almost wrecked by international conspiracies.

You are being very ignorant when you say Buhari is promising 1984 solutions. Please read the 2015 budget document. Nigeria has come full circle to 1984 - Import substitution, exchange control, banning of imports, reduction in govt expenditure, taxation of luxury goods that is what the PDP gov t has come back to. Please read wide and pray for understanding. The people who are running America are not the Obama's, Obama is a symbol of power. The true power holders are in Federal Reserve Bank, top investment banks and top socio economic research institutes and the average age is 70. This is self defeating and you are not being honest. You want GEJ just for tribal and religious reasons. A lot of us are against him for what he is, he does not have the personality to be a good President, he is weak, corrupt and thinks only of himself. He would have done well in any role in life that does nott involve affecting the lives of millions of other people. Jonathan's Second Class Upper at that period in Nigeria is extremely commendable and I think is of the highest quality amongst his other qualifications. The masters and PHD all look like low quality stuff. You can get most of these in Nigeria just by being helpful to your academic supervisors any lobbying.

The second class upper in zoology at that time must have demanded real hard work and painstaking application.

However is record in the educational sector as President and is overall performance in office is very poor and I cannot vote for him.
