Dapromzy333: There are few ways you can use to Upgrade the certificate issue by polytechnic in Nigeria to BSC. The method will be discuss briefly below.
National Diploma: upgrading your national diploma result is not too difficult in the present condition of Nigeria Educational. System. You can Apply For Direct entry into 200 level. Although most school demand for upper credit as criteria for direct entry Admission.
HND : you may upgrde your ND result to HND and after your HND you can gain Admission to 300 level in any Nigeria university if you graduated with upper credit while candidates that graduated with lower credit will be consider into 200 level.
HND conversion: Another platform you can use to convert your HND to BSC is by obtaining HND conversion programme in some Nigeria universities. Conversion programme always take upto 3 or 4 Academic session.
Take ICAN : holders of Ican ATS 3 certificate can also apply for direct entry into 200 level. Candidate with national diploma with a lower grade or pass can enrol for ICAN ATS exam.
PGD : lastly all Hnd certificate holder can run a post graduate diploma programme to upgrade their certificate in the labour market.

See a doctor, preferably a gynaecologist. Get an adult pampers for her so she doesn't wet the bed at night. Pray without ceasing too. Like the Yorubas say"Oja okunkun ni igbeyawo" Marriage is a dark trade we don't always know what we would find there. That is your cross you need to carry. |

I didn't touch my alawii throughout my service year,it was a conscious decision on my part, even though I did a professional course that had 3 stages, did 2 stages while serving, the first stage cost 80k,second 70k,then did one small one 20k.All this I still managed to do without touching my alawii. I had 100k savings after uni, this I saved during my uni days. I did tutorials/part-time teaching/INEC job during my service year, stayed with a relation,so all I spent was on transport,I am also a very prudent person,I believe so much in saving for rainy days...at then end I still had 120k left after service year. |

solape001: i went for an interview, in my category, we were only two that were shortlisted for the post, in a multinational firm, as assistant General Manager. it happened that the result came out and was the most qualified. no human connection, but grace. thank God for 2015, i eventually laughed in the end. God did it for me, and he will do yours IJN.
need i say that my fellow has MSc. while i had BSc. with THIRD CLASS. greatest miracle, joy overflow Congrats, however, you may have more hands-on experience than the MSC guy, nowadays its not about certifications but what you are bringing to the table. What is even the biggies about MSC? In UK,you can have MSC in a year,so? Never feel inferior or intimidated, anytime you are tempted to,go get yours, save and plan ahead. Let me end by saying, the race is not to the swift, keep basking in God's grace. |

I have interviewed in the past forbthat same HR Assistant position you were interviewed for, HR is a field any degree can venture into, so I thought. I have a degree in Foreign Languages and CIPM certification so I thought I was qualified. The fact is,they usually don't employ newbees for that role, they want someone with some HR experience,hands-on experience they can relate to. I can totally relate to your post OP. I understand! |

Career › Re: The Authority Structure Of The Nigerian Police Force by Adortem: 7:24am On Dec 27, 2015 |
If one is admitted with a degree, what rank will the person be? lanrema: The Ranks In Nigeria Police Force are divided across three structures; Administrative, Authority and Organizational structure. The authority ranks in Nigeria police force (NPF), from top to bottom is the Inspector General of police down to the constable.
The Inspector-General of Police
In accordance with section 215(2) of the 1999 Constitution, section 6 of the Police Act, 1990, “the Force shall be commanded by the Inspector-General of Police”.
This simply means that orders, directives and instructions to carry out the duties with which the Police is carried, flows from the Inspector-General of Police, through the chain of Command, to any Officer positioned to implement such order.
The office of the Inspector General of Police is the highest rank in the Nigeria Police force.
The Deputy Inspector-General of Police
According to section 7(1) of the Police Act, the Deputy Inspector General of Police is the second in Command of the Force and shall so act for him in the Inspector-General’s absence.
Section 5 of the Act makes room for as many DIGs as the Nigeria Police Council considers appropriate. Every other rank below the IG, takes order of Command from him, in the performance of their lawful duties.
The Asst. Inspector-General of Police
The Office of the Assistant Inspector-General of Police is provided for by section 5 and 8 of the Police Act. He shall act for the Inspector-General of Police in the event of the absence of the Inspector-General of Police and Deputy Inspector-General of Police
The Commissioner of Police (In-charge of contingents in a state) What rank would a degree holder hold? I mean if you are admitted as a degree holder what rank will you be in?
Section 5 of the Police Act, in accordance with the provisions of section 215 (2), of the Nigeria Constitution, provides for the Office and rank of a Commissioner of Police who shall be in Control of contingents of the Police Force stationed in a State. He is subject however, to the command of the Inspector-General of Police or who-so-ever acts for him, in his absence.
Every other rank in the Force is legally provided for by section 5 of the Police Act. The Command structure of the Nigeria Police can be presented in order of hierarchy as in the chain here under.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police
The Asst. Commissioner of Police
The Chief Superintendent of Police
The Superintendent of Police
The Deputy Superintendent of Police
The Asst. Superintendent of Police
The Inspector of Police
Sergeant Major
Sergeant
Corporal
Constable
