its ironic that Nigerian students are trying to disprove evolution and the big bang.
When I was in secondary school, my biology teacher skipped the topic on evolution, I had to study it on my own because of SSCE.
In the university, a professor of genetics had to apologize to us before teaching us evolution, he told us that he was a deacon in his church and doesn't believe in it too.
So please my fellow Nigerians stick to your endless debate on if paying tithe is right or not and keep your john 3:16 filled brain away from intellectual things like evolution and the big bang.

1. look for food.

What are sins?
Sins are concepts created by society to put individuals in check and ensure a smooth running of the society. They are hard to avoid because they always go against what we were programmed to do.

for example;
when you are hungry and don't have anything to eat and try to take from another person and eat, the society will call you a thief and punish you.
When your community is attacked by outsiders and you try to run to save your live, the society will call you a coward.
The society created marriage to avoid conflict so when you sleep with someone you are not married, the society calls you a fornicator or adulterer.

The greatest tool of religion is calling those things we are programmed or compelled to do 'sin' and claim that God(an imaginary) will be pleased with us when we avoid these things thereby making it exceedingly difficult for us to please this God thus living in perpetual guilt.

I like what you did there. You tried to use emotional appeal to cajole use into "wanting there to be a God". well as a matter of fact I wish there was an omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent and omni-benevolent God but that's just what it is; A wish.

The king is already aware of his prince brilliancy. He proves this to his subjects by testing him in their presence.


God did not try to impress Satan when he allowed him to tempt job.

If a king tries to prove to his subjects that a prince is brilliant then it means that the king is not omnipotent (which you claim god is), he needs his subjects approval make some decisions.

We are talking about god testing man here. What is he trying to find out that he doesn't already know given that he is omniscient?

A King can test his brilliant Prince to prove to his subjects he can be a good successor. A company can test a product in the presence of customer to prove its durability.

This is exactly what is going in heaven according to the Bible. God is testing mankind in the presence of angels and heavenly hosts. He knows already what you will become. The angels don't know this. Destroying the world without giving everyone a fair chance may be considered unfair by the angels and the host of heaven. He is fair and just God

A king is not omniscient so he can test his prince to know if he will be a good king or not. Company manufactures will test their products in the presence of a customer because they want to impress the customer. Who is an omnipotent god trying to impress?

My point is that most children were conditioned by their parents and religious teachers not to apply critical thinking to their religion. They are made to follow the religion with blind faith through threats of hell, reward of heaven etc.
There are many instances of little kids asking their parents or teachers questions that the parents/teachers instead of answering, will advise the students to refrain from asking such questions or tell them that they should ask God when they go to heaven or give any flimsy excuse.

If you deny this then you are on your own.
