truffle: My agency assists in registration of business name and incorporated trustees like churches NGO etc,now because of issues of trust and also to allay the fears of potential/new clients who are working with me for the first time, what I do is that I collect half of the payment and proceed to do the registration and everything, then when the certificate is ready you can pay up the balance, this is solely to build trust.for more info pls contact mr biola on 08170273973,my office address is no 4 Yusuf close, agidingbi, ikeja(corporate affairs commission head office is a 5mins walk from my office).thank you all. This write-up/business intro of yours has all shades of unprofessionalism attached to it, Poor punctuations, zero spacing, I mean it reeks of an amateur, you should work on your writing delivery so people can take you more seriously please. I believe you have content, what's lacking is how to sell that content. |
Business › Re: How To Apply For A Tax Identification Number (TIN) In Nigeria by ADRIAN88(m): 12:05am On Dec 13, 2018 |
FakoMaybach1: I am a tax practitioner, TIN is free but you have to endeavor to register before 6 months after your incorporation date, else you are fined 10,000 for the first month and 5000 every subsequent month.
It is wiser to use a tax consultant, cus due to the relationship they have with tax offices, such penalties are usually waived. The tax man has the authority to waive the penalty if he so chooses, don't let em tell you otherwise, i have enjoyed such waivers numerous times.
Be careful on claiming you just started business, the Tax man can access your bank and know if you have earned income, they even have the right to demand for your bank statements, through withholding taxes sef exposes people that claim to be nursery companies meanwhile they have earned income
Your tax consultant is like your doctor, tell him the whole unadultrated truth, i have had clients lie to me and it made me look really bad and caused unnecessary delays.
It pays to pay your tax, compliance is cheaper than remedial, i know you are asking what has Nigeria done for you?. But someday you will need Nigeria, either a loan, or a contract etc and then you will have to pay through your nose to get what you need, a stitch in time saves 9 ooooo How do you mean by endeavour to register before six months after your incorporation date please? Thanks. |
Politics › Re: Jimi Agbaje: Why I Lost In 2011, 2015 Elections by ADRIAN88(m): 7:00pm On Dec 12, 2018 |
kingkakaone: This is a good decision by Jimi but he needs to do more in terms of making his presence felt both with the masses and with the elites.
Imagine his opponent has done underground works by meeting with the elites and making sure they give him their word of support, eg, Otedola, an some obas in Lagos, entertainers, etc.
These people listed above are influencers whether you agree or not. They have loyalists who can do all they desire irrespective of their personal choices.
Masses are good but try to court the elites if you are to win in the forthcoming election.
Please Jimi, I know it won't be easy for you to win but I don't want you to make it easy for them to win either. So much wisdom!!

dguyindcorner: You're right bout sport betting at least to an extent. But what you wrote about Yahoo is all but nonsense. Nothing justifies fraud. Until Internet fraud becomes legal, sport betting is better. Ok dguyindcorner, not justifying nada as can be clearly seen in my post, I just gave reasons as to why the typical fraudman stands a higher chance of success compared to the proverbial sports gambler. |

Tamarapetty: Yahoo boys will use your pant, use your womb. Might aswell kill you and sleep with ur dead corpse.
A gambler bets to get money in a legit way. . . So think twice, your mumu don do dear! To be honest, you have to give it to yahoo boys in this race (i'm no supporter of rituals, defrauding your fellow man and what not for selfish reasons, i'm talking about the core root cause that gives rise to their success rate)
A typical yahoo guy capitalises on the gullibility and sheer greed of his prey, that's a fact, he does this with extreme precision, a whole lot of patience, and persistence fuelled by a burning desire to live above his means, live a flashy life and all the other things he has set as a living standard in his daily thoughts, the reason they as well go through any length to get what they what.
As debatable as this may seem, the yahoo guy stands a better chance of being more successful at his said craft.
On the other hand, even though legit, a sports gambler has a less than one percent chance of beating the bookmakers at their game, it is almost impossible to win on a consistent basis, even when you do win large sums, a bulk of it is spent back on gambling activities, moreso it's overhead cost (if i may say so) leaves you broke more often than not, constantly in debt, you become lazy and out of touch with reality, distant from former friends/relatives/acquaintances you must have borrowed from to fund the gamblers lifestyle, you're constantly counting your eggs before they are hatched because you expect to win meaning you eternally indebted, it has a less than one percent success rate amongst its participants, it's a lose-lose situation either way you look at it.
In sum, there are no less evils between the two, what is bad Is bad, but if I was to take a trait from either of the two, I will go with the yahoo boy's street sense, sheer persistence, dog-eat-dog mentality and their sheer will of how to be one step ahead, and then apply this to a legit business.
PS- I was once a sports gambler, it brought me good times; won over N2million cumulative in a little over a year, but it also nothing but grief, loss of money, loss of friends, unproductive behaviour, misplaced priorities and loads of debt. I have counted my losses, quit the game (2 months going into my third, paying up my debts, setting up good use for my time and focusing on rebuilding my life for the better.
Surprisingly I have also met lots of yahoo guys, almost gave in to it at some point but never did and I am glad I did not, hence my candid take on the said topic. |

Politics › Re: Tinubu, Ambode And I Are Cool Says Fashola by ADRIAN88(m): 7:42am On Dec 04, 2018*. Modified: 12:59pm On Dec 04, 2018 |
I watched the entire interview, the most naturally refreshing, highly intellectual interview I have watched from a public office holder in recent years. I was literally spellbound for the entire 1hour plus duration. Fashola is amongst a very rare breed in this joke of a country, I also got to find out so much more about the workings of and stumbling blocks in the power sector, actual progress recorded, amongs others, there are good people in government, but the bad eggs want to cage them in their boxes.
The interviewers (Arise news) seemed somewhat professional, except a lady who kept displaying some sheer ignorance with her questions, uncle fash was quick to put her in check with each irrelevant question. The highlight came when he was asked about his relationship with his supposed godfather and successor, he simply said and I quote (with the warmest smile ever on national tv); "We're cool!" everyone laughed.
In sum, I pray he is given a second chance to complete the good works he has done in those sectors he represents, even if it means PDP comes Into power. More importantly, I pray he becomes a president someday. |
