I have worked in V.I precisely at Visafone before it was sold to MTN.
In the short run Lagos may look difficult but you should understand that Lagos State is where most company's Head Offices are located. With you at the Head Office your chances of moving faster up the ladder is quicker than outside the Head Office.

It may look tough and challenging in the beginning but in the long run it will definitely pay.

I did the DIY paid and everything, got my guarantor docs stamped in court and i was ready to submit same day,so i got to immigration office at gra junction again to submit,an official stopped me at the gate to check my docs(the hell?) No p,he allowed me in sighting no mistakes,got to the receptionist and he started talking about COMMITMENT fee again,this time 13k. Well,i wasn't going to pay that,so i waited and tried he just advised me to go to their mile 1 branch as no one would take my docs here.

I got to their mile1 branch and i was told to buy a folder and have it arranged, there is a building next door for just that purpose and i paid 1k for that. I went back in but the man receiving DIY applicants was nowhere in sight,i waited more than 1hour for him,and when he finally came in,he asked me who helped me fill my online application and how much i paid. Omor i thought i was speaking to a reasonable person so i told him the truth, then he told me to pay 5k to submit, i said hell no. He told me to step aside,i told him i couldn't he should accept my docs and let me be on my way,dude started being aggressive,so i called him by his full name(as seen on his tag) and he should take my docs,dude got pissed,he thought i was video recording him because i was pressing my phone.

He was scared,he almost broke my phone mehn,it was an uproar in that office,i was pissed man. Dude left his post for a long time, i spoke with other officials if i could get a different person to submit to but they said no,and were just saying i should pay, the hell? 3hours later man,after waiting i was angry,hungry and i didn't think i could be patient anymore,so i called one of the official i previously spoke with that i was ready to pay, he went into their back office and the first officer magically came out i paid the 5k against my principles, they really don't care huh,this system is here to break good people. Now you understand why I'm disappointed? I could have held it a little while longer but i was beginning to sense i had enemies already,so.

If you in ph,man just tread carefully, this dudes don't really hide themselves. They will extort you with pride.

Sorry you have to go through this harsh reality from NIS. The system is so corrupt that even the God fearing ones among them don't intervene so that they would not be targeted.

I pray other processes will be smooth for you.

I know people on NL will give me better picture of situation in uk in terms whether it is better off in uk. Reason for trying to leave dubai is for the sake of family and permanent stay. Dubai is not easy to accommodate family and it is always 2years renewable visa headache.

If you have spent that 6 years you spent in UAE in the UK you would have had a far better life than what you have now.

UAE is denial Nigerians work permit as we speak.

You , your wife and children will never be citizen even if you spend all your life there.

Let me explain to you since you've failed to comprehend. There are people of 50 years that have birth certificates. So why would someone less than that shouldn't have? Except for obvious reasons. Mind you I only
codedly pointed to the fact that it's only DIY applicants that they would frustrate with that requests. People still use declaration of age done today for passport application but might be frustrated with DIY.

I will never DIY as long as it pertains to Immigration services in Nigeria.

Only 35K I gave for passport, do you believe their Oga gave me literally is seat to sit on, stood as my guarantor and did send all his boys on errand for me?

below 50 years should have a birth certificate. Except in the occasion of lost or misplacement and that should have a police report.

Manufacturers recommend 30,000 - 60,000 miles which is about 48k - 96k KM for gear box oil and filter change.

I always advice people to read their User Manual.

Go to NIMC website and do it online. Pay using your card and print out payment slip then go to NIMC with a court affidavit of age declaration. 15k is NIMC age change.
