Haha you are like a " foreigner " to the local govt you went to na. Go to IMO liaison office in Lagos. It should be in V.I and get it from there.

Just maintain your name.

Or you do a change of name at the court with Newspaper Publication if you want to use your current status and probably do an update with that name.

Affidavit change of name is easier and cheaper, News paper publication na the issue and i am to capture on the 10th.

Newspaper is not an issue. You can get it the next day. If you contact them directly is N3,000 ( Leadership Newspaper), Punch, Guardian, may be higher.

Please I just discovered that my name arrangement and spelling on my birth certificate is different from what i have on all my docs from primary till date.
Kindly assist clarify if this would not give issue as what i have on all docs from primary sch and on NIN is the same but different from birth cert;

Birth cert has: Sukurat Tope Busari
Other docs including NIN have Busari Shukurat Temitope.

Please assist clarify if it is not an issue or if there is anything i need to do as i am to capture nxt wk in Alausa.

Do a court affidavit ( Change of Name) Stating that I Sukurat Tope Busari which to be known and called as Busari Shukurat Temitope. Also do a news paper publication and that would be all - Note I had same issue on my birth certificate and I went through the process and I even did a change of name on my NIN and that settled that.

But I agree that not everyone can have that VIP service.

No VIP can get same day. If you say the next day fine but same day with the vetting, capturing and production processes NO SIR.

Plus I have an issue at hand, I did my int passport about 5 years ago , it got expired Dec 2021, I used my hubby surname then ,before we decided to used a compound name.(something like Adewale -Praise,) now I want to renew my passport, they said I can only renew with the surname not the compound name,I have done all documentations concerning the new name, eg newspaper publication, court affidavit, NIN,Bank accounts, experts pls help.what will I do?
Does it entail me to start all over with the Change of name again?
