Onlytruth: Nwanne I agree, mana biko ka anyi were ya nwayo n'ebe Eze anyi no. Though I totally agree that the matter of Igbo survival is a matter of life and death, and we cannot compromise on our survival in Nigeria.
Maybe he is your Eze but a person who can only find a canned fish as the most suitable analogy for the plight of igbo people in nigeria can never be my eze. I had since given up on the immature ogugua and gave odumchi the benefit of doubt but events are proving that the last year's shamble of an election was infact a great mistake.

PointB: I think/suggest we should make available the document of the reform to all. Going back to the tread will start another back and forth proposal. However, the document we have, no matter how imperfect should be able to serve us, pending another review. There indeed many other things to attend to rather than going back to that thread.

I think leadership of Eze Ndi Igbo Nairaland can bring a closure to this lingering issue, by 'unveiling' the document.
Even their "queen" doesn't know what is happening and they are telling her the situation. Talk about a puppet government with PointB pulling all the strings. SMH.

Daniel 12:2

Many of those whose bodies lie dead and buried will rise up, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting disgrace.

Matthew 25:46

46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Revelation 14:11

"And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."

Isaiah 66:24

"And they will go out and look upon the dead bodies of those who rebelled against me; their worm will not die, nor will their fire be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind."

frosbel: I am sure you guys have some degree of education, so tell me , can a process come out of nowhere and start working without a design in place ?

I work in the IT world, and we design solutions and processes day in day out, when the customer receives our solution after a successful testing, they noticed that their applications run faster, information can be shared more intelligently and collaboratively , and tasks can be performed more efficiently, it all works like magic.

More importantly , they are fully aware that the processes which make the solution work have been well thought through, planned, designed and project managed into a solution fit for purpose. They do not stupidly think it all happened by chance.

So tell me oh great and intelligent ones, if people believe that these less complex processes have a designer and creator, is it not quite foolish to deny the same logic to the more complex and advanced processes of nature.

You guys need to start using your brains and not your emotion.
And we are telling you, maybe you are right. We don't know, but you have yet to provide the proof of your assertions. Until you provide the proof, we will continue exploring other plausible explanations.

I can ask you a "christian" question: are you absolutely 100% certain that the universe didn't happen by chance?

7 And don’t forget Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring towns, which were filled with immorality and every kind of sexual perversion. Those cities were destroyed by fire and serve as a warning of the eternal fire of God’s judgment.

frosbel: Explain to us in great detail , how the process of reproduction happened to evolve or originate by some random chance. The Process is clearly defined into stages with each stage responsible for a degree of development starting from the act of s.ex to the formation of a zygote and then to the cell division methods of meiosis and mitosis into a full grown baby and eventual adult.

How did we evolve into Male and Female with different organs of reproduction designed specifically for the procreation of our race.

I really have to say only a FOOL will believe that the human and environmental processes we experience and live by every day just happened out of thin air.
So if he can't explain it, that means that there is your god? Is that really how your brain functions?

If you are going to be unreasonable, at least acknowledge it. Where did this post call for eradication of muslims?

advocate666: Logicboy, just look at Vedaxcool, tbaba1234 posts and the other silent muslims and see the type of people your are trying to change.
There is nothing to change. Only total eradication can bring about lasting peace and progress.
Not even in the same sentence. Go back to a real school and learn how to read. A moderator should first learn how to moderate himself.

maclatunji: *Yawns*
Of course, you can afford to yawn on nl because Seun allows it.

Infact that's all you can actually do as your hypocrisy is being exposed everyday on Nairaland. You have yet to show where I called for the eradication of muslims.
Nairaland General › Re: The Very Height Of The Mac's Hypocrisy!!! by advocate666: 12:34pm On Feb 02, 2013
maclatunji: I laugh in Spanish...
This is the height of hypocrisy. This is what you specialise in. Taking things out of context. I called for the eradication of islam, not muslims.

If you look at my previous statements, I was scolding logicboy for leaving his stance on eradication of religion to embrace a more moderate stance. I was just reminding him that eradication (of islam) is the only solution to the islamic problem. Maybe I should have precised that in my post but seeing that I have previously stated my stance, I didn't see the point of precising it on every subsequent post.

However now that you have expalined, I can understand how one can misinterpret that statement if one didn't read my previous posts. If you would let me, I will happily go back and modify the post precising what I mean. I do not wish the killing of anybody, only total eradication of all religion.

ogugua88: Many Igbos are quick to point that there are non-Nigerian detractors in our midst. May I add that there are also Igbo detractors who are quick to nitpick and cause commotion. When they're asked to bring forth ideas and suggestions, they're silent. One would think they have unfollowed the thread.

Odumchi, I understood what you said and saw nothing offensive. You spoke wisely and maturely as always. That's my opinion.

I suggest that the analogy issue be dropped and we move on to more pressing matters, like the lingering electoral reform. Does anyone else have anything they'd like to add to it or can we close that chapter and move forward?
See the kind people they impose on us as leaders. Very quick to criticise us and pander to one-nigerianism. Never anything positive to say about the igbos. Well I have to stop commenting here before they run to their tribesmen to give me a lifetime ban for calling them out.

chukwudi44: Here is the list of newly promoted officers so where is the pro-igbo bias? I didn't even see any igbo domination in this list.
It is not igbo domination that is the problem because there is none. The problem is that whenever they see a group of igbo names together in positions of power, they all start trembling. Infact they have never seen such an amount of igbo officers promoted at once so they are now starting to panic. Some of them are ranting 1966. Well this is 2013 and we are highly ready for them anuofias!

Christianity Etc › Re: An Interview Of Richard Dawkins By Ben Stein by advocate666:
Enigma: Rubbish! "Freethinkers" my leg! That is why atheists' thinking is shaped by prats like Harris, loonies like Barker (appropriate name) and dunces like Dawkins. smiley

Look, evangelical atheists now clearly have doctrines and an evangelical atheist who departs from the line is warned to beware of 'heresy'. I don't even need to go outside Nairaland for an example. Just one example follows where a normally brash evangelical atheist quickly fell in line when warned by another evangelical atheist that what he said is not "the default atheist position" i.e. what he said is heterodoxical or heretical. See here https://www.nairaland.com/999529/paul-kokoski-new-atheism-enigmas/2#11578089

In fact it is so bad for the evangelical atheist religionists that when someone renounces atheism they brand him an apostate guilty of apostasy ----- just as with other religions. smiley A clear example is what happened to them when Antony Flew renounced atheism. For most of the 20th century Flew was the atheist's chief and foremost apostle --- even senior to the mumu Dawkins. smiley When Flew renounced atheism and turned to Deism/Theism, some of the evangelical atheists went into apoplexy. Dawkins accused Flew of "Apostasy" but disguised it in a big word -- 'tergiversation'. Look in the dictionary and see that the word is just a fancy or pompous way of saying ------ apostasy.

Evangelical atheists are the dumbest sheeple there is ---- blind being led by the blind. Mumu followers of fools calling themselves "freethinkers". Yeah right. smiley
Did you find all these in your bible?

Jokes apart, as you love dictionary, go and look up the meaning of atheist and come and explain to us how abstinence is a sexxual position or how not playing football makes me a sports person or how not selling stuff makes me a trader.

We have all sorts of atheists, including the so called evangelical atheists. That is the freedom of atheism. We disbelieve and that disbelief liberates us and allow us to do what we want with it. If I go to church tommorrow and start praying and singing and doing all your rituals, I will still be an atheist. A christian atheist. I still wont believe in a god.

If you didn't get it let me spell it out to you again: atheists are free to do whatever they like.
Have you watched the video?

If you haven't, please do and share your thoughts.
I watched the video. Dawkins position was that he doesn't know. Ben Stein was clutching at intelligent design straw and asking useless questions that you theists love so much. The last word of Dawkins summarised it all: why does your god take all the pain to hide itself?

If god does actually exist, it resembles nothing to anything any of the world religion has shown us so far. If by god you mean the thing that causes things to be the way they are, then you have made a poor job of defining it. All we atheists are saying is, your definition sucks. There might be another definition that is not yet discovered. We continue asking questions through science and discovering new things everyday while you stubbornly cling to that of which there is no proof whatsover and are just trying to adapt science to your beliefs.

davidylan: You missed the point. It isnt so much the percentage of uncertainty in question... as much as the fact that Dawkins himself has no confidence in the myths he feeds you.
Unlike the brainwashed sheeple that call themselves godly or theists, atheists are free thinkers, don't have a leader, can say whatever they want, even have the right to doubt themselves, or even worship Satan!

You don't get it. It is a mockery of your so called omnipresent, omnipotent god that humans have to debate his existence for him to exist. The day you stop believeing 100% in him, he stops existing. Very onmipotent intelligent designer. Don't make me laugh.

Secondly, you posted the second post posing as El Rufai. That is impersonation.
