Firstly, you are deluded to think that my master does not exist.
Secondly, only the godly can believe fairy tales of old men learning gynaecology from antelopes. Satan teaches real knowledge.
Lastly, the atheists are winning in NL so you guys have resorted to calling your god a mystery as you have no valid argument to prove/defend him. And you are now even shamelessly try to apply my master's strategy of telling people deities don't exist. Well, guess what, if Satan doesn't exist as you said, of what use is god then?

Not only could I see visions, I could predict the future too. I used to tell people what was about to happen to them. This caused some problem especially in my family.
So now, I just keep quiet and let things take their course.
Christianity Etc › Re: My Pledge To Satan by advocate666(op):
truthislight: ignorance is the bend of the in experience.

if you had developed thinking ability befor greedily following satan then you will not had fallen like an "ant into honey"

Now read:

"Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey;
(Romans 6:16).

Now, to "whomever you obey, he is your master"

by obeying satan our first parent surrendered their rights and authority to satan and as such he became suserviant to satan.

Have you ever wandered if Adam was alife today the level of influence and authority he will have?
Greater than every one else authority.
^^^
well, such was what satan new he will get and that was what he got even though Adam did not know but satan knew and that was why he repeated the same innocent bread temptation to Jesus but Jesus rather stuck to obeying Yahweh.

And got the exact at the end.

Unfortunately you are not only inexperience but also blind to satan antics that are crafted far superior to your "sugar licking" intellect.
I really don't understand what you are driving at here.
The problem with you people is that you have been brain-tuned into thinking that Satan = Bad. Thus whatever he does must necessarilly be bad.
Put this thinking by the side and look at the actions of the devil.
You brought up what you guys erronously refer to as the temptation of jesus but which was really a classic example of the selflessness of the devil.
Here, Satan saw a starving man that hadn't eaten anything for 40 days for whatever reason. This man is surrounded by food and even have the power to transform things to food. Satan took pity and asked the man to use his powers to feed himself. The man refused.
To any unbrainwashed normal person, what Satan did was praiseworthy and worthy of emulation, but for some reasons you christians turn this wonderful act into something to be abhored.

Leave the lies. Forget the brainwashing. Come to Lucifer, the Morning Light of the World. Gain knowledge and understanding. Live a fulfilling life. Satan loves you more than god hates you.

Satan forever.
Christianity Etc › Re: My Pledge To Satan by advocate666(op): 3:47pm On Nov 09, 2012
ecoleco: There is a dark side to every so-called good gifts of Satan.

Yes I have listened to former satanists and they all agree that Satan's gifts are real. I mean you will get money, power etc., for serving Satan.

But these gifts are not free. There is always a string attached to them. The sad part is that these attached strings weighs heavier on your soul than whatever fleeting, momentary happiness the gifts may bring. You will never want them if you had known the price tag on them.

On the other hand, God's gifts are not that way. Yes they may not come when you want them. They will come at God's own time, but you will be happier for it.

And hey, even if you don't get everything you want in this life with God, there is a world He has prepared for you in the near future where you will no longer lack, cry, hunger, thirst or want anything. For us Christians, this brand new life is worth waiting for than anything Satan and this present life can offer!

Peace
These are lies peddled by enemies of Satan.
Satan gives freely. His greatest gift was the one he gave to mankind through Eve when she slithered on her bosom. The gift of knowledge. With knowledge comes wealth, health and happiness.
Did he ask Eve for anything in return? NO.
Who was making silly demands of Eve and punishing her sadistically without any gifts? god.
The evidence is all there for everyone to see. Or you can keep believing the lies fed you.

How dare you curse a young woman in that manner over a silly online title? While you are ranting because you are jobless, the young lady is attending classes and volunteering. She is making a real difference in the real world and you are making an ar.se of yourself both online and offline.

You are a sorry excuse for a man; I suggest you proceed with a sex change because you have no cojones (balls).

Politics › Re: Eze Ndi Igbo Nairaland – Electoral Reforms And Other Matters by advocate666: 2:46pm On Nov 09, 2012
PointB: The problem with allowing every who who claim he/she is 'Igbo' to contest is that some people are 'Igbo' by name, not by action. Moreover, setting rules and guideline help us pick the best people and filter of pretenders. Their is not point allowing every Ngozi, Chioma, Chikodi to contest because they are Igbo. We must find a way to get the better qualified and prevent the unsuitable. We cannot rule out the potential of unsuitable people to swamp us with their multiple ids.

So claiming 'Igbo' is not should never be enough criteria to polls and individual no matter the number of 'nominations' he or she receive. We must find a way to get the best.
I think you may have misunderstood me.
Let me take myself as an example. Nothing should stop me from being nominated, nominating, voting in these elections as most people here even though they hate me know I am an Igbo. Likewise, someone like Alj Harem cannot participate even though he claims sometimes to be igbo. We all know why.
However, Nairaland igbos would be foolish to nominate me talkless of electing me because I have very subversive views and sometimes also get carried away emotionally.
So we must let Ngozi, Chikodi, Chioma and advocate666 to contest. If not, it no longer an election process but a selection instead.

Offline, Ogugua does not even know the meaning of Ezenwanyi talkless of dreaming of becoming one.

The only criteria to vote or nominate should be being an igbo.
A self hating igbo is still an igbo and has the same right as others. It is our duty not to elect such and when such pass through the process and eventually get elected, it is our duty to immediately remove them from office.
We can't start disenfrachising igbos because of personal opinions.

If this were a Ndigbo vs Yoruba/Hausa folks issue, you would have seen true Ndigbo warriors.

But to come to the defense of a young lady (who is also their sister), all we are getting are 'oh my gawd, did he really say that?'

Advocate crossed the line and there should be no mild mannered responses to him. His brothers should let him know that he is on his own, an outcast. His shame will wear you all down.

I accept I made a mistake by directing Yoruba curses towards Ogugua and thanks Afam for your advice and moderation and not allowing over sensitive zealots to bully you. I wish you were our new Eze
I see Ogugua as a little sister that has erred and stubbonly refused to accept her wrong. I retracted my curses because of the admonitions of my fellow igbo brothers and sisters and also because after everything she is still our little sister.
I have never retratcted anything I said to Yorubas or those fools on the religious section shouting Jizz-Us Jizz-US all day long.
It's not cowardice, my people but reasonning, maturity and compassion for one's kindred.
Qualities you can never find in rabid Yoruba communities.

Don't worry Yoruba people that won't mind their own business. This is an internal family fight. I will meet all of you later in your useless threads. PointB: Maxi Odumchi, you are welcome

9JA_I_HAIL,
Thanks for you initial an second post. I would have liked if it is broken down in piece and brought up at relevant section. Sorry if I was not clear in the mail I sent you earlier, I like to clarify that Code of Conduct (Part 2) should rather wait until we are done with Electoral Reform.

But if I get you point on Nomination Rules. You are basically adopting the previous nomination rules with a caveat that we forgive past transgression, and ban those engaging in new one for three year, accepting them back after a public apology.

The challenge with forgiving past transgression is that those accused of that insist they did now wrong, and should not have been prevented from contesting ab initio. It is in this context that we need to define what constitute transgression. What comments or post amount to denigration? And should those who denigrate fellow Igbos also be considered ineligible, say for Eze?
There is a reason why everybody cannot be a leader. There are inherent leadership qualities. Insulting the people you want to lead should be an automatic disqualifer.
I think our nomination rules are ok as they are. We have done two and so far AFAIK, we nave nominated real igbos.

The bone of contention in my humble opinion is the act of our leaders after being elected into office. If a someone before being elected has some opinion which is at par with the duties of the office, that person, should he/she accept the nomination and election, suspend those views out of respect for the office and in the general interest, and at least learn basic diplomacy. There should be sanctions in place so that we don't have a repeat of the shameful parade of these last 3 days.

A disagreement between brothers and sisters are exactly what it is. A disagreement. An Eze is neither a debate referee nor a moderator. He/She have their own views. Having a view should not disqualify one. An Eze has full right to participate in threads.
However an Eze has more responsibility and should endevour to find a balance between his personal views and his larger responsibilities to ALL igbos.

manny4life: Who doesn't? Let's keep real - a lot would've gone wrong by the time one retracts their comment. I disagree with you that's the kind of leaders we need. We need leaders who weights their words and thoughts before speaking. What advocate666 said was just uncalled for, though he said it, and recalled it, but out of the abundance of his heart, his mouth spoke.

It's unfortunate that he stooped really low to engage in such detrimental garbage. When you break a straight rope, when you tie it back, it's no longer gonna be straight, that knot will always be the differential part of the rope meaning that things will never be well with it. That's why people should be cautious about their words, words hurt more than a 1,000 blows.
Stop beating yourself up. I know my shortcomings and am not looking for any leadership position anywhere.
I said something out of passion, regreted it, removed it and apologised for it. I could have gone stubborn odudua88 way and doubled down but I didn't.

Don't go preaching against my leadership because I ain't looking for none. Especially not in Nigeria where they will rather kill their mother than elect a self declared atheistic Satanist like me.

ogugua88: Good evening/morning fellow Nairalanders,

I hope all of you had a great Thursday. I do apologize for the late reply. I am just now getting home and settled.

I managed to get through all 20+ pages of this thread, as well as the few pages on the other thread. I am amazed as to how my posts and character, which, in my opinion, have never faltered, managed to cause such a reaction. The optimist in me wishes that people would partake in constructive criticism and friendly argument, rather than spending nearly 24 hours defaming, slandering, and falsifying a fellow Igbo.
You mean your calling fellow igbos kidnappers amd murderers?

ogugua88: It is no secret that I did not formally accept nor reject my nomination of Eze Nwanyi. Like ifyalways, I too asked what exactly the roles of such a position were. It was to my understanding that at the moment and up until now, the role of Eze Nwanyi had and has not been defined. PointB, 9ja_I_Hail, and others monitored the elections like hawks. The elections were deemed fair, and Odumchi and I emerged as victors.

Not knowing and still not knowing what my duties are, I went ahead and accepted the position. I know that my beliefs and aspirations differ from some Igbos. It is for that sole reason that I agreed to be Eze Nwanyi. I would be lying if I told you that I am here for the title. I am blessed to have the kind of parents that I have as they have never liked titles. As a result, titles do not drive me crazy either. What matters is what I do with it and make of it. I cannot put “Eze Nwanyi of Nairaland Igbos” on my curriculum vitae or post-graduate applications and I certainly won’t get a raise at work. I am here because I want to learn. I am here because I believe I have something to offer. That is priceless.
We have elected a clueless ezenwayi. Shame on Ndigbo. The NL Yoruba agenda is here.

ogugua88: As aforementioned in my acceptance speech, Eze Ndi Igbo will benefit from having a diversity of minds. I am different than Odumchi. I am different than OnlyTruth. I am different than PointB. I am different than all of you and vice versa. I know that I will not always agree with every Igbo and vice versa. That is fine and normal. What matters is how we work out those differences for our benefits. With differences come the best of ideas and the most effective of methods. Always remember that there are multiple ways to skin a cat, but there is always a best way.

With that said, there is a difference between disagreements or conflicting thoughts, and baseless hatred. I understand that, at times, I can be blunt. I took after my father in that I am not one to sugarcoat anything. I apologize if the way I convey my thoughts offends anyone, but my philosophies remain the same. You do not have to accept my way of thinking, truly, and I don’t wish for anyone to accept my train of thought until they have considered it and understand from where I am coming. However, when insults start flying, when defamation of one’s character is rampant, when bullying is the response, and when jungle justice is in effect (for a crime unbeknownst to me), not only have you crossed the line, but you have passed that line by miles.
So you can dish it but not take it? Hypocrite. The person that nominated you even has more rotten brain cells than you. I understand from where you are coming: from underneath Seun's bedsheet. Ashawo Yoruba.
See who is talking of crossing lines!

ogugua88: If you are looking for an Eze Nwanyi who will be a pushover, then I am not your woman. If you are looking for an Eze Nwanyi who rewards only the good and hides the ills of her own brothers and sisters, then I am not your woman. If you are looking for an Eze Nwanyi who bashes other tribes in order to prove she is pro-Igbo, then I am not your woman. If you are seeking an Igbo woman of intellect, sympathy, understanding, determination, and the best wishes for her region and peoples, then look no further.
Hahaha. Delusions of grandeur. See little rat talking about who she'll reward. Ewu. Seun and Jarus are currently reaping the rewards you accord them every night.

ogugua88: Something we all mention at one point or another is that charity begins at home. Part of charity starting at home is being able to differentiate right from wrong amongst Ndi Igbo. Part of charity starting at home is identifying the incorrect and correcting it in Ndi Igbo. I have been and always will be committed to Ndi Igbo. Despite my being critical, I only have our best interests at heart.
If when you hear "charity begins at home" you understand "insult my people", then your school fees was a waste and your affliction is worse than previously thought.

ogugua88: I think that is all I have to say on this matter. It is late and I have work tomorrow morning.
Her Royal Majesty has spoken.

ogugua88: Ndi Igbo, I believe PointB has opened a thread concerning electoral reform and other matters. Your constructive input would be greatly appreciated there as we try to move forward and embark on our journey to brighter days.

I don't think there is currently a system that can 100% prevent non igbos from nominating on this forum. However we can put stricter guidelines and force some compromising pledges from people. This is not foolproof but let's think about it.

Another suggestion is that as this is a Yoruba owned forum which is unashamedly biased, nairaland moderators must not participate in our election process.
Practically, moderators have powers to ban, influence and intimidate some people. A moderator may be able to use this ban to affect the outcome of election especially where there are few of us participating and elections are won or lost by the slightest margins.

I am in support of using English on this thread for the sake of those who don't understand Igbo very well.

The problem is that it may allow distractors to run amock here but we can palliate that by ignoring them.

I would suggest that every serious Igbo contributor here ignore any identified yoruba person/post.

If a seemingly Igbo person starts trying to derail the thread or post what we deem as inappropriate remarks, I suggest he gets the same treatment.

At the end of the day, we will be able to separate the chaff from the corn.
