This dodging twisting, turning, sliding, whinning, squirming, is not suprising as it is the very characteristics of christians. If the spirit you claimed that died in Adam was not the spirit of god, why then were you referencing Romans 8:11 which was talking about the spirit of god?
I guess what you are trying to say is that god's spirit doesn't die but if it leaves you, then you are spiritually dead which also brings physical death; which is what happenned to Adam. Yes?
Although this may sound wonderful to the brainwashed flock, there a few problems with it.
Firstly, this is not what the bible said. There was never the question of Adam's spirituality but that of blind obedience. Infact the only thing god said would give Adam everlasting life was the tree life which he planted near the tree of knowledge. It has nothing to do with spirit.
Secondly, this will mean that nobody has ever or ever will have the spirit of god in them as those that have it don't die.
Lastly, but not the least, if Adam and Eve had the spirit of god inside them in the first place, why did they chose the right tree? Why did this spirit of your almighty allow Satan to rewire Eve's brain while he was inside her? Was the spirit of your god powerless against Satan or did it go to sleep?

What evidence do you have that God meant Adam and Eve would physically die within a 24-hr day? Is that really the only way to intepret "day", even when it's been pointed out that a "day" to God can mean a period longer than 24hrs - 2Peter 3:8, Ps 90:4. Of course, it's another case of latching on to something with more than one meaning, just to support your already held belief. As mentioned earlier, Adam and Eve had their death sentence the day the sinned. And they died. It's the original liar, Satan that said they wouldn't die. Satan is just continuing where he left off when he told Adam and Eve they won't die. Now, he's the same one fooling people that they don't really die - they just keep leaving somewhere else.

I have answered all these previously. God was very specific about when they will die if they eat the fruit. And he never mentionned spiritual death. Satan proved him wrong, as usual.

Romans 8:11 was talking about resurrection and not living forever. Again if we assume once again that you were right and take Romans 8:11 as reference that it was the spirit that died in Adam, it consequently means that the spirit of god is capable of dying. I wonder how many of your fellow christians will agree with you on this.

Satan had no need to discuss 'the day' as He was not confused about death or which day death will occur. It was your god who brought up the issue of which day. He threatened that they will die on the day they ate the fruit. When Satan called his bluff, he claimed that a day is not a day but a thousand years. WTF?

Talking about the tree of life is a wriggly way out for you but it actually confirms what I was saying. They did not have everlasting life. According to god, in Genesis 3:22 the tree of life could have given them everlasting life if they ate it. Which means that if they had not eaten any fruit at all, they would still have eventually died anyway. Satan was right. Knowledge is better than useless childish never ending life.
