afam4eva: Ogugua is not the Eze Ndigbo of Nairaland. Her role is more ceremonial than functional, at least for now. Just let her be.Even ceremonial roles are very important. How can we cebrate a leader that refer to us as murderers, kidnappers and armed robbers. There is nothing to celebrate about this person. She is a shame and a disgrace to Igboland. Have you noticed that she has not said anything? No explanation, no apology. Like we are just subjects that she can't stoop low to address. She is just waiting for her coronation come january. If igbos let this happen, then we deserve whatever we get next year from our enemies. |
afam4eva: Biko jiri ya nwayo...Ogugua won the election fair and square and nobody can deny her of that. You have to wait for one year just like Abians have to wait for a few years to get a new ezewanyi. Many fair and square election winners have also done the right thing and resigned when their positions became untenable. Onlythruth held us together. Ogugua is starting to divide us even before assuming office. We don't need divisive leaders. |
Ogugua88, Yorubas love you so much that I don't know why you are not contesting to become the queen of yorubaland. Igbos do not want you. Go away. |
kingoflag: Arent Igbos robbing, Kidnapping, and murdering fellow Igbos?^^^Look at this my fellow igbo brothers. This is an example of the Ogugua shyte saga that's going to hit the fan next year if we don't nip this in the bud right now. |
"Igbos are robbing, kidnapping, and murdering fellow Igbos" - Ezenwanyi Elect Nairaland, Ogugua88, November 6, 2012 |
kingoflag: But see, the main difference between you and Ogugua is that youre barely literate.Off point. |
texazzpete: You tribalistic scum are so PETTY, I swear.N'importe quoi. Me too. i plan to come to Anambra, Imo and Abia state and turn it into Dubai. We all have plans. Having noble plans does not give her the right to call her brothers kidnappers and armed robbers. Not if she is trying to lead them. Ogugua are you proud to be the online leader of kidnappers and armed robbers? |
Lemme help you. Someone in her position should sugar coat things to make you feel better about yourself abi? smh
No. Someone in her position should be able to use diplomacy in her utterances. Especially when making public statements. |
Erm... Help me understand this. Was her statements false? Just a yes or no answer will do
She made a generalised statement without proof. Absence of proof does not make a staement true. Infact, it invalidates the statement. Whether the statement is true or not is besides the point. The point is that someone in her position should not be making such statements. |
we are not saying that she cannot marry whoever she wants to. we are only saying that she is biased against the same people she wants to lead. we are only speculating that she may be under the spell of an Yoruba man who may be "changing her oil", hence her comments her anti-igbo comments gives her away. it doesn't take much to know where a womans heart leans. show us one anti-yoruba comment she ever made she us where she takes on yorubas or any other tribe never
Exactly. |
Andre Uweh, please tell me. Do you support her statement? If you do not support her statement, then tell her she was wrong and help her to grow up. I'm saying this because she has not denounced nor apologised for what she said, which show that contrary to your assertions, she is not learning. Your ICSN leader I am sure would never have made such a statement against her own people in the public. Leaders don't wash their dirty laundry in the public. Seek out her real opinion, not what you think she might become. Okenye anaghi ano n'uno, ewu amuo n'ogbiri. |
Andre Uweh: Ndigbo, uwa dikwara unu mmaoooh!.You speak like a wise one Andre Uweh. In your wisdom you know thus that we cannot have as our leader someone who does not understand the politics of Igboland. We are not throwing Ogugua away. She is our daughter. We are proud of her achievements but her utterances you must admit are not what is expected of one who is to occupy a post as elevated as that of Ezenwanyi of Igboland. She may yet become Ezenwanyi one day but she is not ready yet. She should follow your advice and listen to her elders and learn first so that when she eventually matures and leads, she would be an effective one. |
Yoruba people sef |
The fact that majority of Yoruba people posting on this thread are pro-Ogugua and majority of igbos are against her, should tell everyone all they need to know about what she actually represents. |
afam4eva: I wasn't in support of this Ezewanyi thingy from the word GO. It's even more embarrassing that the person elected doesn't have the interest of Igbos at heart. I have never seen her in any Igbo discussion. The only time you see her break light is when she has something negative to say about Igbos without even providing a solution except telling Igbos to stop fighting for an Igbo course rather, that they should join other Nigerians. Ogugua88 is a good person and a Pan-Nigerian aka Azikiwe, so i think she's really not the best person for this job. But the most important thing is that she was elected by Igbos on this forum and she can't be impeached because she hasn't breached any rule because there's really no rule that guides the Eze Ndigbo of Nairaland and the EzeNwanyi. There is a universal law of good leadership which is that you cannot lead a people against the people. “You can't lead the people if you don't love the people. You can't save the people if you don't serve the people.” ― Cornel West As Ogugua is unfit to lead, she must go. We just need to find a way to do it in a civilised manner. |
PointB: Issues are being addressed. And certainly not because of your comment cos as I said earlier, you do not have loci standi to raise any objection to her election. You were not qualified to nominate nor vote. I doubt if you even followed the nomination or election thread, let alone figuring out who was architect of what and what not . The where, and how of how this issue is been address will be revealed at the convenient time. And certainly character and personal believe of every one must be taken into account when dealing with their request - or is it not character and personal believe of Ogugua that is the basis of your concern?PointB, sorry, I didn't know there was a special thread for raising objections. Please kindly direct us to that thread. I take objection to your qualification of my capacity to raise objection to serious matters concerning Igbo people. How can you sit there and disqualify your igbo kindred from having a say? I may have faulty character in your eyes, but I am NOT running for any office. I am only a simpleton. But a full memeber of the igbo society. Every igbo qualifies to have a say. I am not into politics, and whether I followed election or not is irrelevant, but I cannot stand by and let my tribe be dragged in the mud and not say anything because PointB hasn't approved. Which raises another question: Who made you a decider over us? Stop trying to make this about me as I'm not running for office to represent anybody. Address the issue raised here (and you acknowledge there is an issue) and work with us to find a solution instead of attacking your fellow igbos. It will really be a shame to give our enemies the stick with which to beat us. Eze Onlytruth, inspite of all his shortcomings, (and there are numerous) never misrepresented us and was always a thorn by the side of our enemies. There is not one quote of his that the enemies could or have used against us. With Ogugua88, we are sitting ducks next year. |
PointB: @opMy character and personal beliefs are not the subject of this thread. It says a lot about you that you are one of the architechs of this ogugua selection and you are now trying to deviate the criticisms that ensue. You say issues are being addressed. Where? |
My Igbo brethren and Sistren. Agwo no n'akirika. A shameful thing is about to happen to Igbo reputation on Nairaland and we cannot in good conscience allow that to happen. Ogugua was " The utopia of one nigeria has destroyed many igbo leaders and is the main source of our problems in igboland. We cannot keep We cannot with pride pay homage to and call Ezenwanyi Ndigbo, a person who makes a comment like this: ogugua88: "Yes, Boko Haram has targeted Christians, many of them being Igbos, but let us not forget that Igbos are robbing, kidnapping, and murdering fellow Igbos too." [November 6, 2012]We need a new strong igbo leader that will represent our views, that is proud of us, that thinks like us, that doesn't speak about us like the ofemmanus do. We need someone we can be proud of. Someone we can stand with. Someone that is has the full igbo prosperity at heart. We need someone that respects ndigbo and everything igbo. Ogugua88 sadly lacks these qualities. We need change. We have people with those qualities and more. Please start a bye-election soonest. |
ogugua, your reign is dead on arrival. You have lost your people. |
i am not going to waste my time on this drivel |
Logicboy03: Then why do you believe in it?because he was brain-fed into the belief. |
I still can't understand why people hate Satan when all He wants is for everybody to free, enlightened, wealthy and happy. What is wrong with that? |
Onlytruth: It is becoming clearer and clearer that Ndigbo (or at least a good chunk) truly have some Isrealite origins. If not for intellectual laziness of the average black person, this would have been long researched, documented and presented in a peer reviewed article. I don't know if that has happened yet.Sometimes I wonder why we elect people who despise and talk us down so much into office. |
Mrsilya: D bibile says dat a prophet is not recongized in his home. But be carefull of ur comments dat u do not sin against God.who shall we sin against instead? |

this Yoruba ezenwanyi must be impeached. onlytruth, please for the sake of biafra, never relinquish power to the agents of the enemy. |
At 1 minute into the video, everything was explained: "doctor had meningitis which was affecting his brain". LOL. |
obadiah777: COOL STUFF BROSomething amazing happened after I submitted this pledge on NL. My phone rang but when I answered there was nobody. I came back to my desk and my bible was open. I swear I didn't open my bible today. The bible is still open, I haven't touched it. It is showing Isaiah 31, 32 & 33. Care to explain the meaning of this? |
