Really?? Bt i know alot of parents that stil struggle to keep their children in private schools.and i also knw students in private school that ve difficulty in even feeding demselves.so the fact that one s in a private school does not mean the person is from a rich home.most are from an average home.
MrImole:

Look at you, for any parent to afford the school, connections to get job won't be the problem

Family / Re: My Wife And Her Family Are Driving Me crazy by afilaka(f): 10:21am On Jul 25, 2018
This same guy wrote this story last year,i tink i bliv him nw............Am so sorry yoa in this.

Samuel is my childhood friend, he got married to Dorcas in 2014. The marriage just like every other has series of issues but theirs assumed a dangerous dimension since 2016. The issue has been on the overbearing attitude of Dorcas's mum who likes to be part of everything that happens in the home. Samuel has also been complaining about the amount of money he spends on his in-laws. Dorcas will always cry each time her family's financial demand is not met. Samuel saw this as being placed under too much burden by his wife and her mother. He claimed to have made several attempts to discuss things with his wife to no avail. So in February 2017, he worked his transfer to Abuja from Lagos and comes to Lagos only at month ends, Dorcas now gets only a fixed monthly allowance which Samuel said she could give to her mum and stay hungry for the month if she like. This didn't go down well with Dorcas and her mum, they stylishly redeployed Dorcas's younger brother who was to serve in Nasarawa State to Abuja to be accommodated by Samuel, he rebuffed this and refused to accommodate the guy. This has been generating tension in the home with Samuel already making attempt to call off the marriage. This I believe will not be good especially for their 2 year old baby boy. Dorcas's mum hasn't seen anything wrong in her attitude till now. How can this marriage be saved please?

if yoa part of the people passing hatred among tribes (speaking ill of one tribe or the other),the day u step out of this country or u are already out,may u experience the worst kind of racism you have ever heard of or witnessd.wit people like u ,the world aint safe.i have come in contact wit most tribes, and wat define each and every1 s not tribe, itz wat we are actually made of.so if u are so unfortunate to meet a bad person, and now decide to generalize it by the person's tribe,i tink you deserve that person in the first place.

Family / Re: My Marriage Is At The Brink Of Collapse Help Me by afilaka(f): 6:17am On Mar 19, 2018
OP, I am a woman, plzzzzzzz, dont beg her more than you ve done, if a woman finds a man that does nt raise his hand on her despite all u ve written that she has done, then she does nt knw wat she has. I agree wit alot of people saying she s immature. Sincerely speaking, if u beg her to come back, she wld always use packing out of the house as a tool to get u wenever issues arises.. I used to use breaking-up as a tool too bt wen my guy suddenly asked me to leave without begging me bak as he use to do, i ve since stopped talking abt it cos i knw i was nt ready to leave him atall but he was always hurting weneva he hears anything abt breaking-up. If she wanna stay in that marriage, den she wld have to use her head to tink herself, reallu, she does nt need any1 to even talk anysense into her. And plzzz, cut off al third party.

I initially wanted to like and support your post but I became disappointed at a point. Plseas try and understand people's fuss on this issue. Not all are outrightly against tithing even though I am yet to be fully convinced about it going by what I have seen and heard.I think the bone of contention here is that God commanded it to make available food in his storehouse so that the less privilege will see something to eat. These less privileges are the ones reffered to as levites who had no inheritance in the land. But today, what are these tithes used for; acquisition of earthly materials, building of too expensive universities and other frivolosities. Tithing is not bad but let our men of God do as God commanded

Helloooo, i dont know what church you attend. But i attend redeem,Are you aware that we have mission as a ministry on its own, do you feel or think because every church do not broadcast like emmanuel TV, they are doing nothing,i know how much my province alone donate to mission monthly, chat me privy, let me give you facts backed up with pictures.MUST WE BROADCAST OUR CHARITABLE WORKS? Another thing is, this less privilege we are always talking about, they are being catered for as far as i know of but even the bible said they will not cease in the land.... I am in support of the university building, 100% quality education and condusive learning environment is guaranteed, please how would you want them to pay their staffs, through fund raising? Or through the said tithe? [please, i need an answer to this] and atimes, lets be mindful and conscious of this things we read online,it would lead many to destruction, this topic on tithing was written more than a year ago, but the ill thinking OP said it like it was written yesterday.

The most annoying part of this post is that muslims are commenting, meanwhile, we are not allowed to comment on theirs ,except u pledge to be with them, but they come here freely and run their mouth. To every christain mod in nairaland, i hope your conscience feels good about that.

I dont know why some people are so pained on this tithe issue. Is any one forcing you to pay tithe, we that are paying it, are we complaining? So whats the fuss all about. IF YOU ARE AGAINST TITHING FOR NO SENSIBLE OR JUSTIFIED REASON, YOU ARE OF THE DEVIL.

Hmmmnn and some people can't afford 3meals of the day yet in Lagos. The streets are littered with destitutes. And the government think sponsoring prilgrims are of more importance.
Is Nigeria cursed or are we the cursed
soberdrunk:
I am not against pilgrimage but i dont think it should be a priority for a government that has not been able to provide all the "basic" social amenities for the citizens, if they must do it, it should be a "loan" angry angry
powerfulsettingz:
No fore sight for this government with this recession
This is mere wasting of resources, government should stop sponsoring all this prigilm stuffs
erico2k2:
I call this waste of funds if indeed the state government had to pay for them.

Please note that the govt didnt fund them. my both parent are currently there and they were nt funded by the government bt rather paid for it themselves, the government only supervise and regulate the process. plz lets always gather our facts right before making our opinion public. thank you
