I suggest you fill another form and change the ds160 application code to the new one. The only reason why you will need to print a new ds160 without submission is if you have less than 72hrs left before your interview.
This is just how I understand it, the gurus in the house should still help look into this.

Eke40seven: If you read my previous comments, you would see that I had similar concerns. I submitted on Friday (evening) but didn't get any reply until a few hours ago.
When did you submit? Be patient and don't worry your head. Just pray for a favourable date.
I think the number of applicants at this moment are quite much.

Someone once told me that EVERY question you will be asked is drawn from the DAAD recommended letter of motivation/statement of intent for Pakistan, EXCEPT for maybe questions relating to your sponsor. If you can bring out time to assess your self using that guide, THOROUGHLY coupled with what's on this thread, those interviews will be a walk over. I still feel they may subject one to tests if they are not convinced about one's ability or intents. All what ebele17 did (though unconsciously) looked like something drawn straight from that guide. I think the best way to save yourself from these mathematical embarrassment is to make proud your level of preparation and knowledge through your spoken grammar, confidence and composure. Make una no go steal una small siblings pry maths textbooks o, or make agbalagba come dey use iko shout "...junior solve this maths in my front, now! olodo.....you play too much..." Junior no go know say uncle/aunty want learn maths from him hand.

Afodam247, don't despair, in fact this is an opportunity for you to stand up, look at that aspect where you may need to correct and work on it. I suggest you post those aspects here i.e your intents so that people can criticize and improve on it (I will volunteer too), I believe you will come out victorious, I still draw great inspiration from emeka55 and Lacuna's experience, read what he posted and learn from it. Any other person in such situation should not hesitate to come forward to draw help from the well of resources here.

thanks a lot. the oda guy only thought that my issue is on desperation and there he missed it I already av d date for the us b4 Germany gave me there's and my intension to usa was visit to a family member so what has DAT got to do with desperation? my interview was smooth and I got the VO convinced. that really gave me assurance not knowing this is wotz going to come out. Will still file an appeal was just thinking I will likely get advice from someone who's got experience in relevance to my case.
so as to aid me in my filling. won't give up, not just yet.

No sir my course is a short musical course for just four month and it was stated in my invitation that the course is a preparative course for the full musical course. and I have my block account active, just don't know what to include for appeal.

WITH A SAD HEART I RECEIVED THE LETTER TODAY. THERE REASON WAS : doubt's regarding the seriousness of your intention to study in Germany

You can appeal it anyway, someone on this thread did and was later granted his visa.

I wonder what the cause for that may be, anyway thank u sir. But how will I process the appeal of a thing?

I HAD MY INTERVIEW ON MONDAY AND I RECEIVED A MAIL FROM THE EMBASSY TODAY STATING THAT I SHD COME ALONG WITH MY PASSPORT. but they didn't tell me to come along any thing else expect the printout of the mail I received . PLZ I will like to know what this implies because I have not given them anything on health insurance.

yeah its an hour now. but its not that the interview will last an hour in the real sense but from the moment you r standing in front of. the v.o till u leave will equivalent to an hour. first she will have to separate your documents and then create or edit a profile of yours on her system, thereafter you will be asked to do the biometric and after all these minors start ur interview proper.
at least this was how it went for all student applicant yesterday myself inclusive.

I had my interview today and its close to being true what they told you.
first it seems like the EBOLA issue is leading to something bigger than expected. instead of having the interview inside the main building of the embassy, it was held at the entry spot immediately you get access off the Igbo man. and all I was able to picture is the fear factor which EBOLA as created.
Now talking about the interview, it takes approximately 60 min. for each individual and the interview was conducted by the female German woman only to be assisted by a black 9ja lady.
If you have been following this trend for a while you shouldn't have problem relation to the interview. it wasn't hard for me though and all I was told afterward is dat they will mail me. wish you luck in yours too.

geemana: well...what do u know about Germany? what is the programme about? tell me about the programme's curriculum,where will u stay in Germany,what do you know about the city ,what documents did u send to this school before bring offered admission. know the politics of germany,know what you will gain from the programme and its application in Nigeria.is this programme not offered in Nigeria? how did u know about the programme. I think the best thing to do is just to tell them more that what being expected.For example if she asks what u know abt Germany tell her all u know. don't wait till she asks about the politics of Germany or the countries that border Germany before mentioning them. know the dates on your certificates as well.
