forreelinc:It is not much now my guy. It is just painful they tell people to come and write exam and tell them to come for interview and after interview they tell you the scholarship is inconclusive People risk their lives on the road From Yobe,Lagos, Kaduna twice to come for both interview and EXAM each year and they will come back and say it is inconclusive. Lats year someone had accident and came for interview with blood stains just imagine how you feel when they tell you.The process is inconclusive |
DistinctAwesome: Thanks for following back. You've been an encouragement to many and a reformer through your work. I must say that we admire you immensely. We ( the Niger Delta youths) are pained my the ongoings at NDDC, we're soliciting that you lend your voice to our struggles just the way you've done to many others. A thread will help greatly and when this trends, the change we very much desire will come. Our present plight is caused by no other than @NsimaUEkere the NDDC MD. Here are the details: Before the Buhari administration came into power, the NDDC was credible and living up to it's expectation. The scholarship scheme which was our major aid towards foreign education was running smoothly. One Mrs Seminatri was in charge and merit was rewarded. Each year, after the CBT( every candidate views scores after clicking the submit button), scores are published online, then interviews conducted. Eventual beneficiaries are then selected based on a combination of the performance from the CBT and interview. All those who make it to the interview are given a #10,000 stipend to cover basic charges. Those eventually selected were also published and each candidate, saw the transparency. That was last done in 2016 by Jonathan's appointee. However, since Nsima came on board, the CBT test was conducted last year( scores weren't published). Then the interview was conducted, just when the list of successful applicants were expected, the scheme was declared inconclusive. The Consultant used for the test was presumably paid along with the Professors and professionals from other fields used for the interview. Even the meagre stipends to cover transportation and the like was paid about eleven months after with an accompanying deduction ( 8k+ instead of the full 10k). But grapevine has it that some people were secretly sponsored( I don't know how true this is though). This year's CBT was also conducted by the same consultant, interviews held with September 21 promised as the date of the release of the list. But, as I speak nothing is out yet. Nsima is busy with becoming the next Governor of his state. The questions that are begging for answers: what happened to the monies appropriated for the scholarship? Why was the scheme operating flawlessly only to start having problems once Buhari and his cronies came on board? Just this week, Nsima Ekere was in the news for driving to a hotel in Abuja in a G-wagon attempting to stop the appeals to contest the elections that he and other's won during the APC primaries in Akwa-Ibom. Why go to such extent with bags filled with dollars, when youths who should rightly benefit are being denied? We want him to do the right thing. Release the #NDDC2018ScholarshipList. He has an opportunity to write his name on gold, but he's destroying it in his bid to become a governor. I forgot to mention that contractors are owed(it's also in the news lately, while the skill acquisition has suffered the same fate as the scholarship. We're been oppressed from the Oil wealth which is collectively ours. Please, come to our rescue, the time is NOW! Thank you. Cc :Lalastica Cc: Seun Please help us push to where we they can see

Partnerbiz:Where are they supposed to place someone who has a degree and came back for a degree. I should go back to 200 and be doing all the Maths I have done again. Toh I have told you.NUC stipulates before anyone can be awarded a degree he must have spent atleast 2 sessions in a University. Therefore Putin someone who already had a degree in 300l is not illegal. Even though I had to do few 200l courses ( 3) in total |

Brother I understand your plight. I am in your shoes. I Grad with a 2.2 (3.41).I also couldn't secure a Job. Funny enough we were only 5 that could graduate in our Five yrs of srudy in school. I was among despite missing a whole semester. I applied to University in Canada my dream country I was denied because I didn't have a 2.1,I applied for DSSC NAVY I was told I did excellently in the exam 2016 but I was not selected because Navy doesn't take 2.2( Mind you I went for NDA interview in my 100level that was what spoilt my CGPA as it clashed with my second semester exam).I struggled to pass even though the Best Grad student in my Dept graduated with a 4.00.It tells you they were naturally not Fair to us. Anytime I am giving opportunity I have always proved my intelligence. Immediately I graduated from school I beat my contemporaries in a competition organized my Chevron. I was only given 200k and an I pad I am not even disturbed. The Best in my class recently chatted me up and told me I addressed some people recently and I told them the best person among us actually had a 2.2.Therefore be very strategic in your Academics. Lucky me I am not depressed like you are, I have little support as I am not from a rich family. What did I do 1) acquired skill .Now I am a good programmer and I develop apps 2) I source for information. Information is power. as bad as my degree was I am about to bag a scholarship with it. 3) I discovered I can upgrade myself. I applied to another university ( though private) and I was given another course in January and I was placed in 300level.I have completed that session.I will finish the program next year May( that is if the scholarship didn't even work out)I am glad to inform you I am on a 4.67/5.0 scale. So BGG May 2019 I will also call myself a first class Grad.Mind you I can defend it anywhere as I read a hell out of books to prove people wrong. In all cases look for opportunities within what you have. I am happy I was awarded a 2.2 because it has made me expand my capacity. It was a rough experience though |

29Ade07:That is why I always discourage this opening another group. Afterall we met here |
I disagree with the OP The date of the Primary was fixed by the NWC therefore it was not targeted at Ambode APC is practicing Direct Primary meaning it won't take time and your ward have liberty to fix the Primary to Afternoon or evening since it isn't a general election that they use same venue We shouldn't be Hypocrites we also attends functions like community/village men/professional (tailor association) meetings on Sundays We should put in mind this date was prosponed as it wasn't the original date for the program but the order can't change that was why others maintained their main date. |
Buffalowings3:Five star general ko five star hotel ni |
guiddoti:Why are you talking like you wont work if you go there. If you not lazy you will make more than to $15000 if you work in Canada. They pay $18/hr. Masters fee in Canada is as low as $3800-$14,000 per annun so NDDC is enough because all the fig i quoted are in CAD$ |
guiddoti:In UK right but in Canada it i more than enough |
Ayoola1996:Ondo should be like 700 |
dawtune:Good I want to use it to evisage the kind of question to expect because that is my route also but i applied with Oil and Gas Eng.I dont want to fly in and out from Lagos to PH and start seeing questions from Electrical Engineering.Although i have called Mr Godson amd he told me people wont be tested outside their ist degree. So this validated my findings.Though we are both contesting for limited slot wish you best of luck.I just touched down in PH now |
