Nope he doesn't deserve it. It's funny how people or bodies outside sit down and analyse /conclude for people in other countries when you haven't lived in the country to get the true picture ....

I think the worst thing that can to parent is to lose one's child...I can begin to imagine the pain....

RIP
Family / Re: What Has Parenthood Changed About You? by Africaine(f): 5:50pm On Sep 28, 2014
Being a parent has been a blessing in all ramifications. I have always loved kids so it wasn't hard adjusting. The hardest day was the day after I had my 1st, she cried thru the night and wanted my breast in her mouth thru out, after I got thru that night it was pretty straight forward from then on. I have learnt to have selective deafness, when the kids start screaming and running around, as long there is no hurt, omo I just blank.i no fit die. When they scatter EVERYWHERE, and I'm too tired, I make a small space and lie down till I have the strength, I no fit shout.i have become more tolerant and extremely patient, In short I have grown into my own.

bellong:

Did he take the loan from the bank he was working?

Is the bank presently requesting for the loan to be Paid?

Please answer these questions. Thank you.

Thanks for the interest, I shouldn't have gone one and on...didn't even realise I felt this strong until I strayed typing. We have succeeded in paying his loans to d bank and other people he collected the money from.
He just needs to believe in himself again, he isn't a bad guy, he doesn't talk down to me and lives his kids to pieces, so it's not all gloom. I hope and pray that God fine tunes everything concerning him.
Because of what I went thru as a kid without parents together, I could never put my babies through that. I would do everything heavenly possible before I give up on him.

I haven't told the whole story, it's too long. So I will try and summarise. When he was in the bank, a year into our marriage, he went borrowing, I didn't know about it and till he hasn't been be to say exactly what used the money for,and more importantly he didn't tell me, and when I kept asking what was going on he didn't come clean, his colleague at work is the one that came to the house and opened up to me, he even printed out his bank statements just incase I didn't believe him....inshort I shouldn't be doing this.

I don't know what to do anymore, I have tried to encourage him a wife should but still no improvement. Am just tired
Family / Re: Counselling: Strictly For Couples And Intending Couples! by Africaine(f): 8:06pm On Jul 31, 2014
See I don't understand what is happening anymore, the story is same in 75percent of homes, the woman is the breadwinner while the men give variety of excuses.

I have been married for 8years and i have single handedly taken care of all the bills for 6years,my husband is 11 year older than me,He has an excuses for everything under sun,why he cant move forward and the latest one he tells me now is"I'm working on something, when it clicks i will let you know"just imagine.

When we met,he was working in the bank,he gave a customer loan, the loan went bad,he was suspended and asked to go recover the loan,he was home for 1year after which he was fired, yet he decides against better judgment to go work for the client he gave loan initially. the most annoying part is that you claim to be working for someone and you cant even boast 10k in your pocket at the end of the month, yet you have 3kids in school.

He comes home everyday and eats his food,he doesn't ask me how am managing, the kids school fees is paid ,he doesnt even ask,not to talk of other things.

Everyday I regret my decision,I am from a broken home,I am trying to end the cycle but its so hard. I am lucky I have a good job, thank fully am not in debt but it really frustrating hustling the way i do and seeing a grown ass man give excuses.
first he said his lack of having a car was stopping him from going out,I bought him a car, nothing has changed,i even offered to pay for his masters abroad, yet he doesn't want to do it,the thing tire me walahi.

I have prayed and fasted, but men...it seems God is upset with me because there has been no improvements oh...i have called his close friends to talk to him,but still same,i went to his family, his parents said i am a bad woman that i am complaining now, because he doesnt money. inshort am just tired.

Right now,i just to kick him out,he is of no use to me...am just holding and praying for divine intervention right now.

It is left in the hands of the non voilent muslims to correct this notion.

Abeg you guys need to start by dis owning all those perpetrating this evil and distance yourselves from all those them also let you lives be examples and slowly the populace would come to accept but don't blame anyone for being weary.

Please,

People are allowed to state their "opinions" with out all these attack dogs coming out with their fangs.

I love repogirl, she is an amazing writer even that is an understatement, but truth be said I really disappointed in her level of commitment.
We understand all that is happening and the fact that you have a life outside nairaland, but it doesnt change the fact that update have been dragged for soooooooo long, its just not nice, besides you had a life outside nairaland before you decided to write this story right? and also you always known that writing here, you dont get paid, right? one or two weeks of failing to update is fine, but weeks on end that is simply not good enough period.

you are truly gifted,God gave you this gift for a reason babe,I hope you appreciate it enough and not take it for granted,so that you continue to touch peoples lives through your words,as you have done mine.

Peace!

Travel / Re: A Comprehensive List Of The Documents Required For Visas by Africaine(f): 9:51am On May 17, 2013
Vicjustice:
Absolutely not, the fact that your husband did not travel with the previous visa is definitely a plus to his next application. Understand that the main concern of visa officers is the possibility of absconding by a visa holder, therefore, in the event that a visa holder did not make use of the visa, that fear is eliminated: therefore, your husband stands a better chance of getting the visa now than in the previous application

this is a big relief, thank you for the prompt response. So can we apply for 2years visas for our kids, with thier virgin passports? they are aged 4,3 and 3months respectively?
Travel / Re: A Comprehensive List Of The Documents Required For Visas by Africaine(f): 10:32pm On May 16, 2013
Hi Vicjustice,
My husband and I applied for 6months UK tourist visas last year and we were given. I travelled but my husband didn't.Now we intend to renew and apply for visas for ourselves and our kids,we have 3 with virgin passports. My question is the fact that my husband didn't travelled going to act against us? Does dat affect me and the kids. And generally can we apply for 2yrs visas for our kids even though they havnt travelled before?

damola decieved the buyer, the buyer has no fault except for trusting that people still had intergrity, and am very sure he wouldnt have paid if inspired didnt put in a word about the history of the vehicle, besides imspired was innocently talking about the history before it arrived america.

the seller is fraudlent and should be banned from selling or advertising any type of vehicle be it personal or otherwise,he should return the alhaji 2million in full with no conditions attached,go and pick ur vehicle and stop talking trash about waiting till its sold before u refund the buyers money, fraudster!!!

alhaji, dont even try to do anything again, just let him pick his dead beat of a car, collect ur money, lick ur wounds and move on,stop trying to be too nice, except ur a billionaire or sumtin...and 2million is chicken feed!!!

damola the fraudster,shame on you

Dear poster,
Sorry to hear what you are going thru, but this isn't a time to sit and grovel in self pity, this is time to get up and fight to keep ur home and marriage and fighting your husband is just going to push him away farther into the hands of ur sales girl, hard and difficult as it is,you have to first forgive him,try slowly to love him again, dnt let go of yourself, look nice, cook for him and be as welcoming as possible, get ur husband back, just bcus ur employee has a kid for him dsnt mean he loves her or has to love her!take control of your home and under no circumstances shud you allow the girl into ur house.be civil to her and her kid, that all you owe them. The lord will help you and heal you dear.
