I get frustrated with him too sometimes but I think yesterday he had a good game he didn’t make pointless long balls he only played them when he was certain an player was there for it and I don’t think he missed any. He was good on the ball. Off the ball I think he has work to do in that position.

That Serie A is washed. Ever since people like Darmian, Benatia, Immobile, Koulibaly, Kim Min Jae started dominating awards in that league i knew the league was a condemned league.

Ugarte and Bruno were okay in midfield, but there is a critical problem with that combination. Neither of them is very comfortable receiving the ball under pressure, meaning many of the potentially juicy passes that Mazraoui and the LCB were attempting to make could not be made.

If Mainoo can sort out his stamina problems, he would be a key cog in that midfield. Otherwise, once better opponents close mark our WBs the way they did to Antony in the 1st half we will struggle to progress the ball.

There is no place for him in this formation. His time on the bench won't be too long. He might be offloaded in January sef.

A fit Shaw is better than a fit Martinez at LCB because of Martinez weakness defending the flanks solo. The problem is that a fit Shaw is as rare as a dragon.

Mount whose body has been breaking down for the past year will struggle in that wingback role.

1) You have some people who are aggrieved with the way ETH was attacked here, especially with regards to what they perceive to be impatience from fans. So, they want people to apply the same energy against Amorin. A case of agenda-driven beef.

2) You then have the chronic complainants and fault finders. A case of congenital beef.

I think we have good enough players. by that I mean they are better than our league position suggests. desire is another thing. Casemiro and Erikson pivot is definitely a fail regardless of ability or desire. their positioning was good yet poor mobility meant we couldn't progress through the middle. defensively it ensured gaps appeared there and was exploited. Amorim didn't shout much instructions at the pivot and I know it became apparent to him the pair was a mistake. he didn't want to make a first half substitution either, so Bruno adjusted nearer in the center circle.

I wouldn't really read much into how the game went until probably after four games. he should have known individual strengths by then I hope.

But our aim is not to move from 12th to 8th. Our players might be better than our league position suggests but they are not good enough for our aim of consistently challenging for league titles.

If Amorin also takes the position that the players are good enough and believes he can improve them to start challenging for titles, he will be gone in a short while. We have bought the wrong profile of player for a long time, so the team is filled with players with loads of defective qualities.

We have some players with no legs at all. We have other players with no technical base. We have other players with no work rate. An ambitious team should not have so many players scoring close to zero in some of these areas.

Yes the academy players are not good enough yet but need to promote a couple of them. And get a good LWB and a striker. Next year should be the last chance saloon for Mount

They can't all go at the same time but some need to leave ASAP while ones that can't be sold ASAP need to have their influence on and off the pitch reduced.

Rashford that was posting "Top training session" last week could not be bothered to put in a shift in this match.
