Hehehe. Not exactly. I have high hopes for the boy even though i have only seen clips here and there, and his Under-18 cameos last season. He made his Under-18 debut at 14 and trained with the first team at 15.

He has been out for most of this season with a fractured spine, retuned in December and i think he has scored about 6 goals this month already. I think he is ready to be fully with the Under-18s AND they need a goal scorer.

But generally, I don't see that hunger from fans to go watch live matches in Africa, especially in central and West africa. The Northern Africans fill stadiums more both club football and national teams.

Another good point. Ticket price is an issue, but another problem is the decline in fan support for African football due to the globalisation of European football.

People just don't care as much for African football when they can sit in their homes and watch Haaland, Mbappe, Salah et al.
