Probably it's good for him he got exposed while he's with someone that's a bit cool headed. I'm hoping he's gotten all the counseling sessions he needs.

If this was with another type of woman, he'd be totally ruined.
Like you said, he is fortunate. When I first heard that audio tape I thought he was going to end up in jail for real. The girl likes him and the girl’s family like money. Those are the factors that saved him.

A cone would have defeated Tinubu if PDP fielded it. They only needed to be united. Tinubu won as a result of the division in PDP. This is an undeniable fact.
A Northern cone would have defeated Tinubu. Not sure about a southern cone.

The "investigation" might actually have little to do with the incident itself. It might be about parlaying with sponsors and partners about the repercussions of bringing him in.

I'm certain the Glazers don't want to lose Greenwood. He's an asset. They see him as something that will fetch them money in the future (transfers), or at the least, contribute to fetching them money (better squad, UCL football, more money).

If there won't be any repercussions from bringing him in, they will do so.
Your last statement is the truth. If their research tells them that there won’t be huge repercussions they will come out and say that after concluding their investigations they couldn’t find any evidence to expel Greenwood from the club.

I know you ain't arguing. I just decided to add the screenshot to support the discuss.
Cool. It is just a shame that Greenwood allowed the devil to pull his bia bia. He would have been really good with this kind of manager.

This was from Fabrizio yesterday.
I am not arguing that part. I have actually watched interviews where ten Hag said the same thing. Nothing concerns him as a manager with what happened before he became manager. He just wants the best players available for him to win matches, and Greenwood is one of them.

The club management though has to consider other factors. Sponsors response, fan response, social activist response in the UK. They don’t know what to do that is why they are still “investigating” and also considering loaning him out. If they loan him out then the final decision is pushed further into future from 2023 to 2024 or 2025.

Ducker has reported that ETH wants him with the squad but ultimately the decision lies with the club. Eth himself has said the decision lies with club.

Looking at the whole issue, I don't know what the club is still investigating. Season is just about 3 weeks away and he's still here. Let's see how it goes but I think he stays.
Fair enough. ETH is just making a purely football decision. The more talented players available for him the easier his job is.
The club is just confused about what to do because apart from football factors they also have political and social considerations. The Glazers are hoping the situation goes away with time which is why they have been considering a loan deal. That way the final decision is pushed back by a year.

From the look of things, ETH wants Greenwood to stay.
Why do you say so?

He is not training with the squad and I heard that we offered him to Atalanta on a loan deal as part payment for Hojlund but they declined.

Also the best players in the squad are at their best in transition. Bruno, Rashford, Case.
It's a no brainer to build on the strength of the squad albeit with a capable ball playing base at the back.
True.
As money no too dey to overhaul the squad I think the guy borrowed himself brain. The guy was partially culpable for that money spent on Antony though. I hope we won’t one day look back on that fee and consider it a huge waste.

Ahan.

Is ogbeni Hang not going to play possession football again?
That question was settled immediately we made Mount our midfield signing of the transfer window.

We will play enough possession football to be respectable but our bread and butter will be counter pressing and transition.

Remember the military Generals that died in the plane crash in 2006 or there about? Nothing wen anybody go tell me wen I believe say Obasanjo did not know what happened! Nothing!! Man was conveniently in Singapore when the crash happened.

When Obasanjo was in power, you underrate him at your own peril because he was decisive, calculated and thought ahead, farther than any of his enemies prepared for. I think his time in jail taught him to be ruthless.
It wasn't just his time in jail. It was the cumulative experience he had gotten from his life as a soldier. Between 1966 and 1999 most of the politics being played in Nigeria was being played in the military, and OBJ was heavily involved in a lot of it.

We are so terrible at selling players it's infuriating. City just sold a winger from their academy for 14million to West ham. They sold Trafford to Burnley for 19million. Those are players with zero premier league appearances. Compare that to United selling Elanga for a pitiful 15million and Henderson for 22million. Nothingham forest have even rejected to buy Henderson and are instead looking for another loan.
It is a bit different in this case. We are mostly selling our average academy players while we keep the good ones in our squad or loan them out. Man City on the other hand are selling some of their best players, and those ones have shown more potential than even most of our best players. That Borges for instance that they are selling to West Ham is a bandit who has been torturing other academy products all over the country. Here is what i told Ley.qute when he asked me about him. The only academy players Pep is keeping are the very best of the best cos there just isn't room in the first team to promote all the good ones they have.

afrodoc:
I heard that Fletcher’s boys are good but it is still voice of mouth as I have not seen them play. They are younger than those 3 I have mentioned.

Mebude, Bobb, and Borges on the other hand have inflicted maximum damage against us. My eyes have seen and it is kind of stuff that causes nightmares and PTSD.

I don’t know if it’s just cause of the gulf in the quality of youth coaches but the bullying has been going on for a few years now. It started slightly with dem Foden and Sancho but it has now reached assault levels.

Everything i have achieved in life today lies on the strength of a strong primary school education. My popsy sought out the best school in our area and enrolled me there when he noticed my academic performance was dropping every term. Yeah, he wasn’t rich and the school fees were expensive but he felt it was worth it and he was not wrong.

When he died, i was in Primary 4 and his neer-do-well relatives tried to get my mother to enroll us in cheaper primary schools but she said fück no grin

Eventually, i attended a regular secondary school but that was inconsequential as the foundations were already set. My best friend in secondary who had a strong primary school is doing his masters in Robotics in the UK and looking at a PHD soon.

We need to improve quality of primary school education if we want to improve this country. In Germany here, you can’t teach at a primary school if you don’t have the equivalent of a masters degree in education training.
100%.

The quality of pupils the primary schools are churning out to the secondary schools is poor and the quality of students the secondary schools are sending to university is even worse. It is like trying to build a skyscraper on sand.

The university education subsidies should be removed but only after alternative sources of funding like loans, scholarships, grants are made available.

The focus should be on having a broad base of quality primary and secondary schools and empowering the universities to provide quality fee-based education

Also consider that he's leaning in a little while Neuer and VDS are standing upright..small difference but matters
I don't think he has a height issue
This is a better explanation not the one you said he looked 6’3 in that pic. He might be 6’3 but he doesn’t LOOK it in that picture, maybe cos of choice of footwear and him leaning at a slight angle. If a man doesn’t pass your eye level you are at least 4 inches taller than him.

maybe their footwear
Probably. Hopefully.

Your eye level is about 4.5 to 5 inches below your height. In that pic he looks 6’1 to 6’2. I know he is not a really tall keeper but I am hoping he is at least 6’2-6’3.

He’s standing beside 6’6 and 6’5 men..of course he looks 6’3
There is no 6’5 man in the picture. VDS is 6’6 and Neuer is 6’4. The gap between Neuer and Onana looks equal to if not more than the 2 inches between VDS and Neuer.

Don't worry bro, he learnt/learning from the very best.
The guy looks less than 6'3 in this picture. There are 2 concerns with him from his Ajax days, aerial balls and long-distance shots. Those are the things which used to lead to the brain touch i mentioned earlier. It would be interesting to see if he has improved on those. I am rooting for him.

Our defenders and goalkeeper have kept us in the game.
The coach should make good changes then. I think our female football has regressed badly.
