BlueRayDick: Yar Adua Government expunged History from schools curriculum in Nigeria. I think late last year Buhari's government approved the reintroduction of History into schools curriculum, I doubt they've started teaching it back sef cos as at that late last year they were still talking about training teachers that will resume the teaching.
This country ehn. Expunged ke? What was the rationale behind that? I mean what was the official explanation. |

Needless ego fight.
Got your mail, I will watch the video. They jailed Awolowo a year before that election sef. How can you campaign properly from jail? That 1964 election was rigged. |

larride: Your MD don dey twist history for head.
Akintola and Awolowo beef is all about control of the Western Region.
Awolowo left his post as Premier of the western region to contest for Prime Minister, he lost while Akintola became premier of the western region. Awolowo became leader of the opposition in the parliament while also remaining the leader of the Action Group and Akintola the deputy. This is where the problem started from.
Akintola as Premier wanted AG to join the coalition government as he believe the Yorubas are losing the influence because of the refusal to join the coalition govt even after NCNC (Igbo dominated) joined.
Akintola wanted an alliance with the Northerners while Awolowo doesn't. Akintola was also against the democratic socialism that Awolowo is known for preferring the conservative approach.
Akintola sha started removing all Awolowo loyalist from govt and replacing them with his own loyalist and that's what led to operation wettie. 100% |

Amoto94: I'm just laughing at the suggestion, tactical maneuvering to stage a surprise attack. Remember Sudan, Egypt when there were pockets violence and soldiers deployed to restore calm seize control Massive troop deployment can go wrong in a multitude of ways. That is even if the deployment was for altruistic reasons in the first place. |

BlueRayDick: I support the deployment of soldiers for the elections and hope they will help maintain law and order by reducing electoral violence to the barest minimum .
Incidents such as politicians sending thugs loyal to them to disrupt elections in areas where they know they will not get bloc votes (as it happened in 2019 elections) should not be allowed to happen this election. Don’t rule out the possibility that this deployment is part of a grand diabolical scheme. |

Jodera: But have you watched the clip I posted? But why are you involved in this debate? Chelshit play (and have played for a while) very turgid football with little imagination, creativity, or upfront movement. Even prime Michael Laudrup would not find it easy to give penetrating/forward passes in that system. Arsenal on the other hand play an expansive style with lots of upfront movement and ideal spacing. It’s not rocket science that his forward passing would appear better with you guys. The guy is still a defensive liability though, especially when it comes to transition defending. |

timay1: Reminds me of Sir Alex.
A 70% of Sir Alex squad every season is full of average players like that who are hardworking on the pitch and understand their role in the team, the remaining 30% is for talented players, above average players with 2 or 3 world class players, which is usually in the foward position.
One of the reasons Guardiola rejected the Man UTD job. Apart from the fact that half of the players are Old and finished, a lot of the team has too much of average players for his liking Most of the good players were old and finished, lotsof average and overperforming players in the squad, and the Glazers were aka gum replacing Cristiano Ronaldo with Antonio Valencia. |

nitrogen: Not true. There is a reason we don’t like it when Bruno does his antics on the pitch. That’s even a common thing but some of us detest it. I wont ever like to have a keeper like that in my team. Nah! That is why i said probably. You won't but many will. Most of his antics benefit his teams but a lot of Bruno's antics hurt his team, like when he starts rolling around when dispossessed and ref does not blow. It is about individual preference and many would support him if he kept for their team. |

If Martinez is your keeper you would probably love him but if he is not you would probably hate him.
