On this man’s mandate I stand. I am not dropping 10% of my hard earned money for any Father in the Lord to be buying Rolls Royce limo and Gulfstream jet.
Theuniverse: Chelsea fans in Stamford bridge are even dull sef, they suppose to stone that idiot Potter, water bottle or something, boo him out, scatter things in the stadium, fly banners, chase him away. nonsense. since that stupid America man want to waste money on this British idiot, he better waste the money on property damage.
Ibime: Players like Felix, you don't know what you will get from one game to another
I don't like any player that will force Chelsea into tactical constraint of 4-2-3-1 or otherwise be an ineffective winger/forward if not played in the hole behind the striker
I like an AM that can play 4-3-3 if the occasion demands
hensben: On the field, box to box don’t actually dictate play with the ball, they often run with the ball and good in covering grounds to tackle without the ball, CM is opposite, CM dictate play with good opening and position to receive the ball.
Roland17: You have made some excellent points regarding the state of officiating in the EPL. Officiating in the EPL has been on a gradual decline for a very long time now and VAR has only exacerbated the obvious. In comparison to the 5 major league, the EPL struggles the most with the application of the VAR.
I like your idea of importing referees, it will increase competition and the quality of officiating. However, I am worried that idea will grossly weaken the other leagues across Europe and rear it's ugly head during the UCL as you will have a very limited pool to draw from. Overtime, it may become overtly monetized like we have with players, coaches and football executives which may ruin the integrity of the game. Only 2 British referees made the top 14 ranking of referees, the rest are non-British.
The EPL/ PGMOL/ FA should start by expanding its reach to minority British Citizens. How is it possible that out of the 200 referees who officiate in the top 7 leagues in England only 4 are minorities? I think they should start from within because the opportunities are out there. I mean, how is it possible that we have not had a black referee in the EPL since Uriah Rennie retired in 2008?
That is quite shocking. 4 out 200! Yeah, that would be a starting point.
DeadPresidents: Yesterday, i went on an official appointment in the quaint city of Potsdam. I had difficulty locating the right office (everything is in German man) and i met a kindly Sicherheit (Security Officer) who showed me the correct office and asked if i was a Nigerian. I replied, “yes” and we got to chatting.
He asked me “Why is Germany having a sudden influx of Nigerians?”. Usually he mostly sees Eritreans, Ethiopians and Ghanaians. I replied something something economic opportunities but the real answer in my mind is, “Baba, Buhari has fcked the country up and we’re now moving like refugees”. He never know wetin dey sup
Omo, our next President must work menh. This administration done cause serious wahala
Nice one. You for drop pictures for us. I hear that it is a very beautiful city littered with beautiful palaces and cultural heritage sites as the core base of the Hohenzollern rulers of Prussia and Germany.
A40: I know say you be OG nau. You wey go collect at least 10 years for my head. Why I go think say we be mate?
I know Basile Boli and most of these old guys you dey mention. I started following sports from a really young age so I know a lot of these people. That early 90s Marseille team with Deschamps, Voller, Papin, Abedi Pele, Desailly could have won that CL back to back but for the Tapie scandal
Yeah that was a good team but i don't think they would have beaten the Barca Dream Team of the next season or the Milan team with Savicevic and Boban on form and Desailly having crossed from Marseille to Milan. That Milan generation was the truth.
