No they were not right. You can't come into a country and break that country's rules. It does not work like that. Football is not more important than life or health.

The problem is that the FAs of these countries and the health authorities are not on the same page.

Good. The ban never made any sense to me.

Based on Brazil's quarantine rules the only way Fred could have played in Brazil is if he had left the UK 2 weeks before the world cup qualifiers.

And after the qualifiers he would have had to quarantine in the UK for 10 days before returning to training.

Unrealistic expectations.

After entering Brazil from the UK you need 14 day quarantine before you can play.

When you get back to the UK from Brazil you need another quarantine of 10 days before you can play.

Those guys would have quarantining for almost a month each time they travelled.

Health authorities and FA are at loggerheads and the players and clubs are left holding the bag.

The reason the pass was not made is that Havertz did not raise his head immediately he received the ball. As he got the ball the only thing on his mind was go 1v1 and try to get a shot off. By the time he looked up the opportunity for the pass was gone.

He made the wrong decision there. Does not make him a bad player.

If the EPL teams contest it they might get it overturned.

The Brazilian health authorities rules and the Brazilian FA rules clash so the clubs could try to use that as a get out of jail clash.

It is no use to use to have him suspended anyway as that leaves us a player short in terms of selection options.

CR7 might actually make a bigger impact off the pitch compared to on the pitch.

Players like Greenwood, Rashford, Sancho, Elanga, Mejbri, Shoretire would learn a lot from him in terms of proper diet, lifestyle modification, training, exercise.
