TemporaryHansel: DSS were inviting Obadiah malaifa almost on a monthly basis because he said government officials are complicit in the insecurity plaguing the country, according to DSS the man was instigating people against the government with that speech. Within a year they silenced the man permanently.
Is Gumi not instigating people against the government with his utterances so far? This is the problem people like spy30 were complaining about, they claim Nigeria is one country but the law differs for people depending on their region. If the law can't be implemented for everyone, there's no point implementing it for anybody. Both you and spy are confused. Just because someone in the North is not punished for killing mainly Northerners you want someone in the SE not to be punished for killing mainly Southerners. So if your drunken position is to be accepted you want Kanu to be released so that he can go back to killing his own people just because you want fairness and justice. There are many examples we can use to ask for justice and equity but Kanu’s case is not one of them. The SE benefits from his conviction. The North suffers from their inability/refusal to punish their own Nnamdi Kanus. |

Must be his lack of physicality. Lack of physicality and injuries. Bobb is very intelligent, maybe the most intelligent out of their recent academy products but did not have Palmer, Foden, or Sancho's ability to decide a game solo with goals and assists. |

But he didn't say that in his first statement. I still don't see the sense in keeping children in a school, after receiving intelligence of an impending attack Yeah, that was a huge error. If his kids were there i am sure he would have evacuated the school. The NW and NE are approaching Mali and Sudan types of insecurity. Na slow and steady degradation. He is also alleged to be state sponsored going the the confessions of the groups who worked with him.
I don't support rubbish. I have no sympathy for him.
However I expect a just trial not a selective one simply because he is Igbo. So that when he is convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment for killing his fellow Igbos (your own blood), you will come here to lament and defend him because Boko Haram members have not been sentenced as well. |

It is only unfortunate that the reasonable ones will get affected. If its possible that Spy and their sympathizers should invite those ESN guys to operate in their own village only
Someone ordered the killing of your kinsmen but you are upset that he was sentenced because someone killing Northerners was not arrested first It is a peculiar mess. There are enough people with this upside thinking to let you know that the country has no future. The country has the required critical mass of upside-down thinkers to prevent anything positive and sustainable from happening. |

Bluelines69: This Kebbi Governor is doubling down on his stance that an order was given for soldiers to be withdrawn before the school girl’s abduction, who can give such order?
But to look at it why do schools now need military protection in a country that’s not at war? We are at war and have been at war for over a decade. Unless there is a new definition of war. Don't let them whine you, anybody travelling into Northern Nigeria is travelling into an active war zone. The war started about 15 years ago; the difference is that things have started escalating recently. |

So the "too late" excuse might by just a smoked screen.......
Honestly,I believed BH were oriented to carry out a long term mission which the country is witnessing now...they were relatively younger with less ammunition and could/would be easily defeated by d military within a blink.
BH and co seems to be pampered and other regions with similar violence or less are given the treatment worthy of newton 3rd law motion.. I don't understand this part. |

Segedinho: The mistake was actually done by bubu n made more complex by the recent 20yr sentence given to the northern well known terrorist.
Gumi by now should be answering questions....this is the hallmark of a no nonsense gov/judiciary ready to carry everyone along with same judgement Before becoming president Buhari was one of the people making excuses for Boko Haram at the onset partly because ND militants were given amnesty. By the team he realized the danger BH posed it was too late. |

Segedinho: Spy's anger is probably was/as a result of different justice for difference tribe/regions
KANU deserves deattttttttth/life imprisonment but when u look at the mirror using northerners lens then ur justice becomes selective, biased or absolute one sided which ultimately could be regarded as "injustice" This foolish mindset is one of the reasons some Northern leaders were demanding amnesty for BH and bandits just because the FG had earlier granted amnesty to ND militants. We can all see what it has led to in the north. The person Spy is defending was destroying Spy's region and killing Spy's people. That is not the kind of person to be fighting for. |

Is it true that when one is convicted of terrosism charges anywhere in the world such person loses his British citizenship which he acquired by naturalization?
Is it true Nnamdi Kanu will lose his British citizenship? It is a possibility but not automatic. The Home Secretary decides on a case by case basis. You don’t even have to be convicted. Strong links to terrorism is enough. The person can appeal the revocation in court. |
