My best friend goes to these matches. I pity the guy.

We were debating who has suffered more, him who drives all over England for most home and many away games OR me that stayed up (or used to stay up) or woke up to watch a 2am match when i have work the next morning.

Fair enough. I personally like his style of football. I've just never seen him build a solid base. Most times his teams play a high line and he seems to like operating centrally. I'm not saying he's the answer at Man utd but at least he has a style though. Can we say this about Ole?

As we are now Ole's days are numbered. I am not even comparing them but assessing Poch in a vacuum.
Like you rightly observed he plays too narrow and tries to force-feed everything through a congested midfield, and relies on his full backs heavily to provide the width.

We should stop going after a player or manager just because he is better than what we have got. This way will just lead to one step forward and two steps back. With that mentality we might as well go for Emery, Eddie Howe e.t.c

We need to go for the right person in terms of his tactical ability, style of play, ambition e.t.c not just because he is better than OGS.

That is because he was sacked before he could do so. He was sacked from the Espanyol job with the club languishing at the foot of the table.

He has never won anything, and i don't like his style of football.

Ten Hag has Bayern links so i guess you guys will get him if you really want him. I won't mind any of those 3 to be honest i.e Tuchel, Nagelsmann, Ten Hag.
They all play attractive football and are still relatively young. Tuchel though like MRTA mentioned in an earlier post has a reputation of being a bit of an abrasive and difficult manager, while both Ten Hag and Nagelsmann have not been tested under pressure before.

For the first time in many years i am starting to doubt the much vaunted Bayern organisation. The Kovac experiment makes no sense whatsoever. Whose appointment was he? I know Uli is being forced out, so who is calling the shots now in terms of football decisions?

Erik Ten Hag coaches good attacking football. Same with Tuchel and Nagelsmann.

I prefer the 2 Germans because i have watched them for much longer and seen them do it at multiple clubs.

I would prefer Lucien Favre he is more progressive than Ten Hag, Ten Hag didn't do too well at Dortmund. Favre emphasizes more on wing play and very fast counter attacking football.

Even Pep had to chase out many players at City and bring in his kind of players.

The most important thing we need to do is get it right in the transfer market. However I just don’t think OGS has shown us enough for us to believe that he will be the right man when the right players come in.

I watch a lot of Rubbishliga and outside Bayern and Dortmund his teams (Hoffenheim and now Leipzig) have played the best football in Germany.

Fast tempo and lots of vertical movement. Uses ball playing CBs a lot and often plays 3 at the back.
