Pull up Gerd Muller stats and compare with ronaldo,Messi and Maradonna.
Should we start from the fact that both Müller and Messi have 68 international goals but Müller scored his in 62 games while Messi needed 136 games?

Or maybe we should start from their goal scoring record in the World Cup ? cheesy

I quickly read through the list, saw Henry on the list and started laughing. I didn’t even check who was no 1, 2, or 3 after that.

How can i be mad at an ignorant man?
The emotion I am experiencing now is pity. I pity you for your ignorance and pray that Amadioha enlightens you.

It's a taboo to mention arguably the premier league's greatest ever player cannot be mentioned in the top 10huh

Henry isn't that useless.

Saying Henry cannot be in a top 10 list is nothing but your personal opinion.

I put it to you that you are mad at my number ONE.
Stop covering up with my number 10.

Otherwise carry your keyboard and type your own instead of crying over mine.
I put it to you that you are a boko haram generation and deeply ignorant to put Henry in a top 10 GOAT list.

P.S I was laughing at your list not crying. cheesy

The question is;

Since the current generation of defenders are so soft and sissy why are there not 20 or 30 strikers in Europe scoring 60 goals like Messi and Ronaldo?
1) Already said Messi and Cronaldo are special.
Nobody near their level now and all time they are at the top level along with a couple of other players.

2) I just said they would post big numbers in that era too but just not as big as what they are posting now.

3) Question you should ask is this: If the current defenders now focused a bit more on defending , and were allowed to pull shirts, push, tackle from behind, slide tackle etc with little risk of getting carded will the strikers score as many goals ?

You need to go and read a bit more about why GKs were banned from catching back passes and why they changed it to 3 pts for a win instead of 2 pts.

2. Stop hiding behind my controversial number 10 placement when in actual fact you are mad at my number ONE.

I don play all this kain wayo before when dey primary school.
1) Your no 10 has no controversy. It is downright ignorant. Henry is not on that level.
Ask people to teach you about events that happened before your Boko Haram generation.

2) Who are you for me to hide my opinion from you? LOL.

3) I am not mad about your no 1. Messi, Cronaldo, Maradona, Pele are all reasonable candidates for that position. Some might throw in Cruyff or Di Stefano.
I HAVE NO HORSE IN THIS RACE.

Marginally easier for who?

Why is nobody coming even remotely close to those numbers even in this easier era?
Already said they are special.
If you think the defenders that we have now have the same level of focus and aptitude like those of the 80s and early to mid 90s it just shows how little you followed that era.

Then factor in all the things defenders used to do with impunity back then to gain advantage on the attacker. Things like shirt pulling, slide n scissors tackling, tackling from behind.
Even if ref blew then there possibly would be no card.

He brought the same wack argument to our thread and was promptly shut down.

Messi and Ronaldo are above any other footballer that ever did it.

We're talking about niggas with 700+ career goals here

That's 35 goals a season for 20 seasons.
Messi and Ronaldo are special no doubt and their achievements are to be respected, however it is marginally easier to get to those numbers in an era in which tackling (especially tackling from behind and sliding tackles) is frowned out, defenders are chosen partly cos off their attacking ability, and part-time traffic wardens like Van Dijk are being lauded as the best thing since fried rice.

Messi and Ronaldo would still have scored goals in the hundreds in the 80s and 90s but most likely just at a slightly slower rate.

He is not as good as CHO on the left. Lampard loves Mason Mount die. The only real space left for Pulisic looks to be on the right.

That is the summary of what i said.

Pulisic should pray that Willian n Pedro age fast.
He is not as good as CHO so LWF is blocked for the future, Mount is Lampard’s 1st born so AM is blocked. The only possible position left for him is RWF.

After spending close to £600m in the last 5 years on transfers & a wage bill that was the 2nd highest in the world at some point? shocked shocked

Let's cut the niggas some slack here biko
They left Woodward in charge of football decisions despite repeated failures in recruitment.

The wage bill you mentioned is actually a negative cos they rewarded mediocre players with bumper contracts.

They focused on the marketing aspect and have neglected the footballing and scouting aspects.

They started the decline by loading the club with debt in the last years of Fergie’s tenure which meant we were replacing world class talent with potential talent at a time other clubs were rearming.

They accelerated the decline by choosing a money man to run a football club because all they are interested in is how much they can make from the club rather than the club’s sporting success.

The only constants in these 7 lean years have been Woodward and the Glazers. Why should they not bear most of the responsibility for the situation.

Berbatov: On the pitch Man United aren't producing as a team at the moment. It doesn't matter how good you are, Messi or Ronaldo could go there and they would have difficulty because the team is not producing

True. They look badly coached. The players are shit is a poor excuse.

Someone needs to give Berbatov cold beer.
The players are shit. The fact that the manager is not up to the task should not deceive you about this truth.

They are badly coached but most of them are not good anyway. They are the result of years of poor recruitment and coaching.

That is why when some were saying last season that the team just needed a couple of additions to challenge for the title i laughed in 4D.

That man Woodward (who is the only constant in our revolving door of coaches, training staff, physiotherapists, captains) is taking us slowly but surely towards relegation.

If you win what he's won you deserve to be rated extremely high. 3 Champions league and He also won the double in his first season in the PL, something not many managers can say. Who knows how much further success he might have had if Chelsea hadn't decided to Chelsea him out of the club?
He's obviously a very good manager, you can maybe fluke one Champions League but not 3. He's not at the all-time great level but definitely not overrated.

If you argue that his relatively underwhelming league record undermines his overall outstanding success then why couldn't others argue that SAF's relatively underwhelming success in Europe undermines his overall standing too? I think nitpicking to that degree is a bit silly, no manager is perfect. You just have to judge the overall package and I think in Ancelotti's case it's a pretty outstanding one.
Why are you arguing with me when from your post you agree with me?

I didn’t say he was a bad manager. I just said he was being rated higher than he should be.

You say he is not an all time great, however there are people that think he is. Therefore by your own admission he is overrated, or what do you call a person who is rated by some as an all time great when he is not one?

He is overrated. His paltry number of league titles despite coaching multiple all time greats tells us all about him.

Zidane that won 3 UCL back to back to back despite underachieving in the league should give you guys an idea about what goes into winning or losing the UCL title.
