larride: You watch them better than I do but I don’t think Greenwood is better than Hudson-Odoi.
Those Arsenal Youths I have seen play sabi play ball ooo, maybe it’s just the system their manager was using but the way they flow is something I don’t see our Youth players do. I might be wrong though. Which of the Arsenal youths? I like Guendouzi even though some of their fans like to scapegoat him, but he is not a youth product. Hudson-Odoi is very good and has what it takes to get to the very top, but i am just going from their body of work at the youth level. Hudson-Odoi and Gomes both played in the same England youth team and they were at the same level IMO. Remember that Greenwood is younger than them. I believe Mason is better even though if someone says Hudson-Odoi is the better player it’s not a big deal. |

ORIJIN201: Arsenal and Chelsea aren't a struggling team Abi? Wtf? Chelsea has a transfer ban, they literally sold lots of players join sef. Your youth products are shyte just like your fashionista duo (Rashford and Lingard). Ok |

larride: Lowkey our Youths players are not as good as Chelsea and Arsenal Youths.
Greenwood is better than all of them. And the next level you have Hudson-Odoi, Gomes, Reece James. I don’t rate the Arsenal youth that highly. It’s just that our coaching is diabolical, and of course I warned earlier about youth players coming into struggling teams. |

eph12: It's not about them being ready or not. They wont survive if the senior players continue to play like this. Chong was playing on the left with Rojo as his LB. What kind of support can that one offer a winger? It would have been nice to see Chong and Williams on that right side together but Ole switched him (Chong) to the right before replacing him. |

patrickmuf: The issue now is that those youngsters might be needed for the league and Europa league if our injury woes persist...Any update on Martial, Rashford (a pity I want him back after his woeful displays), Pogba and Shaw's injury? I hear Pogba might get some minutes today. Likely to be ready against Arsenal. Rashford is likely out for several weeks. The guy was being overplayed IMO and that is what led to this injury. Not sure when Drs Shaw and Martial will go on leave from the hospital. |

patrickmuf: Last year, Liverpool crashed out of the Caraboa cup and FA cup quite early and in hindsight, I believe it helped them push for the EPL and UCL trophy...
With our current situation, I really don't think we need the distraction of the Caraboa and even FA cup, we should just concentrate on winning the Europa league or finishing top 4 so we can't attract quality players come next summer. I get what you are saying and it makes sense, but If we keep using youth players in these cups the club might benefit from the experience they gain. I expect many youth team players to be involved today. Garner, Levitt, Mellor, Chong, Gomes, Williams (suspension) all missed our last under 23 game. I am not sure Ole would like to risk Greenwood with his recent illness and Jim being the only CF we have right now with senior experience. |
Family › Re: My Wife Is Using Excuses To Abandon Me by afrodoc2: 10:25pm On Sep 24, 2019 |
MYDEBBY: Dear Nairalanders, I greet you all.
Pls I need candid advice, I have dated my wife for over six years without an issue and now that we have done traditional rites and about to climax with white wedding she is giving flimsy excuses that she is no longer interested in me.
She is currently in final year and has drastically changed in her dressing and attitude towards due to influence of friends in school.
Often I do report incidences of her recent poor dressing to her parents after cautioning her she will channel the grievances to me.
The recent one made her so angry that she started recanting all my past mistakes which she and her family are aware of and have resolved since now using it as an excuse against me that she is no longer interested.
She kept mute for over two weeks due to anger yet I still transferred money twice to her but up till now she did not acknowledged it, only for her to send text that she need money for our daughters school fees. I then decide to visit them off campus where they stay yesterday with lots of provision yet she could not say a common thank you.
While I was still making peace with her asking her to forgive me for whatever wrong I have done to her by reporting her to her PARENTS, promising not to do so again, a guy knocked the door and she went out after the guy I asked a relation who was there who was the guy and he said he is my wife's friend, I quickly followed them on citing me the guy diverted after their discussion about me.
When we then entered the house I asked her who was the guy and she said that's not my business. I kept quiet.
After a while I called her parents to tell them the situation of things that their daughter said she is no longer interested they now asked us to come down to the village to see them this coming weekend.
I know things are not alright somewhere and as such I need straight forward advice on what to do.
Pls no insult just help out.
Thanks Listen bruv, you have lost this one. If you marry her you are just inviting pain and suffering into your life and have to be doing yearly HIV test and also DNA test on all your kids. Incase you don’t know she has been collecting very, very big dick from the mr ologbenlas on campus. You have been sharing her with campus boys, innit? |

patrickmuf: I will prefer if Greenwood develops as a striker or SS. Chong looks better on the left even though he has the tools to own the RW.
In all, I'd rather have Dalot or the youngsters man the RW rather than Lingard/Mata, in fact the only reason I brought up Dalot is because I don't want Lingard or Mata starting for us. Greenwood needs game time while he develops physically and mentally. He is not likely to get that regular game time as CF so he can get minutes as a RW. Chong has looked more impressive on the left as you said but from his youth team exploits he can also do a job on the right. At least both of these guys are forwards who have real potential to develop to top class players. Dalot is just good on the overlap and does not have the skill set a top team needs in a wing forward. The Mata extension is one of the major reasons i have stayed away from any Ole out/ Ole in debates here. It makes no sense and those guys will be the ones to finish him, but hey at least a man should be able to choose in what way he wants to die. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 9:56pm On Sep 24, 2019 |
patrickmuf: At this point, he should be tried there, nobody insinuated that in the long run he should be our RW. If he is not going to be the long term solution why waste him there? I thought this season was meant to be for laying long term foundations? I would rather try Chong and/or Greenwood there instead of Dalot. Those ones still have the potential of making it as RWFs and IMO Dalot is not even much better (if at all) than them right now. |

Leyqute: Bombing forward from RB is different from playing RW. Rafael is a fantastic RB but he sucks at RW.
Experimenting won’t hurt anyone though. Exactly. If you are not good enough GTFOH and let those that are good enough see road. |

Oasis007: I wouldn't mind Dalot being converted to RW to be honest. He has all the Qualities needed to succeed as a Winger. Dalot will never make a top class RW. Other clubs are buying players at the level of Salah, Sterling etc we keep converting and managing players. He should fight for a squad position as a RB or be shipped out. |
