Oasis007:See as i just dey laff. Why are you crying ? |
Unlimited22:Lol. One of my guys served there back in the day. The guy no wan come back, na beg we beg am. All because of ....... |
Roland17:Lol. I no vex o. I was just impressed with the fervor you guys went at it. We have all derailed at one time or the other here, and i would rather read you guys' debate than a discussion on BBN ![]() |
SkimpleD:Ministration? Is that what they call it on the street these days? ![]() I hear those Uturu girls have recalcitrant spirits that need regular and vigorous exorcism. Hope it wasn't Krest ministration, man of God? |
iamoyindamola:He deactivated because of trolling? And he wants to face SARS alone at night? ![]() Wetin Top Boy no go see for Summerhouse? |
BikeMan:Lol how does Greenwood connect to this talk? E be like say you dey mentally malnourished. I never said you should always drop you hard earned money to SARS, what i find ridiculous is continuously castigating someone that did. I never had an encounter with them before i left the country but i know people who did. Some of those guys paid nothing, but some had to part with money. My point is no 2 situations are the same, so mocking someone who had to drop money just because you didn’t is silly. |
iamoyindamola:LMAO. I just hope one unfortunate indomie generation or boko haram generation person here won’t go and follow the advice of these internet voltrons and struggle with the wrong set of those people. Like i always say, it is easy to form Mighty Igor sitting in your face me-I face you when all you have to lose is MB. |

SkimpleD:Let us even agree that Zidane was tactically naive. Is it a crime for Hazard to win his 1v1 contest with Trippier? If Zidane could not spoon-feed him by devising a tactical master plan can't he (Pius) create something from his purported Messi level talent? |
SkimpleD:Atletico is a very good team with a reputation for solid defensive organization. They are playing at home and you somehow expected Real to just overrun them? Real had more possession than Atletico, they made more passes, had more accurate passes, had more shots at goal and on target but according to you Benzema was the only person past the halfway line. Benzema is not a poacher, he has always been an all rounder who likes to roam, drift wide and sometimes drop in to midfield. Nothing new in what he did today. Zidane might not be the greatest tactician but trying to lay the blame for Hazard's impotent performance at his feet is a bit of a stretch. Hazard was poor today, EOD. Zidane is not responsible for him averaging 1.6 goals per champions league season. |
SkimpleD:I did. Real had more possession, made more passes, had a higher passing accuracy, and also had more shots and more shots on target AWAY from home. So i am not sure where you saw everybody apart from Benzema at the half way line. |
raumdeuter:Here is your answer below. SkimpleD:The excuses of Hazard fanboys are new every morning. |
raumdeuter:It is a disgrace. A phucking disgrace. |
This Thomas Partey dey run things. |
Leyqute:If a player has been stung by misdiagnosis in the past or rushed back to early and suffered a recurrence of injury he might be reluctant to come back if not 100%. However i don't think a significant number of our players are doing that. Pogba for example was rushed back too soon in our last match, especially when he had to play 90 mins. Rashford is another example of someone who has played through injury and been rushed back to soon but always tries to make himself available. The only obvious culprit is Martial but he appeared to have turned a corner this season in terms of work rate and desire until his latest injury so i will give him the benefit of the doubt. In terms of stupid business, i always said Ed was the number one problem above any player or manager. As long as he is in control of football matters i see no light at the end of the tunnel. |
Leyqute:I believe it is a combination of factors. 1) Some players are injury prone due to poor genetics, bad luck, poor diet/fitness regimen, playing style e.t.c. Players like Jonathan Woodgate, Phil Jones, Fat Anderson. Those are the players a club should never buy or if already in the club should be offloaded as soon as possible. 2) Next is the quality of the medical team/physio staff. The same way you have players and coaches of varying quality you also have different levels of expertise in the medical side of things. From our history over the years i don't think we have ever had a top medical team. 3) The desire you mentioned comes not in desire to return from injury but in the desire to spend money on your health and body and minimize your risk of injury. Lebron James' and Cristiano Ronaldo's careers tell us that if you take care of your body well enough your risk of injury will be minimized at least to a certain extent. It is no accident that Fat Shaw and Fat Ando have always been injury prone. |
A40:It was an asinine question really. |
seankafor:This place is not dominated by lazy Nigerian youths and simpletons. |
patrickmuf:It’s not even about improving. It’s about giving us the minimum expected and being as good as advertised initially. No need for improvement sef, just give us your baseline game from your previous club. The guy has been crap and that’s the truth. I can’t recall above average performances in any sequence of consecutive games. Apart from Sanchez he has probably been Mourino’s worst buy in terms of performance. At least the others can point to a number of top quality outings even if they weren’t consistent. |
patrickmuf:Pep’s village people work for him, not against him. He dodged a bullet with him, same way he dodged a bullet with Alexis Sanchez. Fred’s problems have nothing to do with our play. His ball control is not clean enough and he does not shield the ball well. He is lightweight physically and gets pushed off the ball often without the ref coming to his rescue. He becomes jittery when the opposition presses him and is a liability in our half. As a senior member of the team, costing 50m and coming in with the reputation of a Brazilian international he has been a disgrace. I would not say disappointment cos i never really expected much from him. |
Shaw has zero discipline. Any small thing he has added weight. Look at him looking like a heavy weight boxer. If he is like this in his early 20s what will he be like when he is 30? |
Oasis007:He is slow and weak (opposite of pace and power) and collapses under the mere hint of a press. He is the opposite of for example Wijnaldum. Our scouting is so poor it is almost comical. I have no hopes that the 50m waste will come good soon. |
Oasis007:The only person that seems to have learnt anything from Carrick is McTominay, and unfortunately he is not the most talented naturally. That Fred just looks more and more useless everyday, but with Pogba’s injury he has to play. Ole should go back to 4-3-3 cos this 4-2-3-1 isn’t working. |
Bruv, i thought you said you would stop posting all these yarns here for now? |
hensben:Exactly. They are roughly same height and weight but Reece is 19 and Walker is 29. Plus who told you Walker himself didn’t have to sacrifice to keep his weight down. Another example is Rooney who was not able to make that sacrifice. I am not criticizing the boy, it’s just something I think he needs to do to maintain a high level and keep getting better. |
Pep ain’t coming here for anything. When the PSG job is there. Who wants to come and suffer for nothing. Pep goes to clubs with structure not clubs that are dysfunctional. |
I also like Reece James, however he needs to be very disciplined to avoid any possible weight problems. His younger sister plays for us and has the same issue, though she is very skilled. |
