swiz123: Ibime has been dropping ajebo takes since morning, with the last straw being that he flew 10 meters because he was hit by a vehicle moving at less than 4km/hr. It’s even worst when you imagine it cos it suggests that he was tiny and has/had eye problem. I know say you go corner am. I schooled in Yaba (100L) and Mushin (200L-600L). I saw that drop from moving bus move dozens of times and even implemented it on occasion myself. Those area boys dey apply Law of Inertia without knowing. |

Match just start. Calma!
Iran has announced its losses and will remain transparent. More importantly, there is now no impediment to Iran becoming a nuclear power. It finally has the justification it craves. And everything and everyone in Israel, including Dimona, is fair game in perpetuity.

raumdeuter: You can jump from a moving vehicle if its slow enough. When inside the bus speed becomes your speed, so when you drop speed significantly, your human body cant handle it
You cant go from 30km/hr to full stop 0km/hr in a space of 3 seconds and not hurt yourself. Even Usain Bolt when finishing a race still runs about 50meters to slow down to a final halt Around 20km/hr is the sweet spot. Under that speed should be okay. Land with broad based gait and lean back slightly and keep running for a few seconds. * If you don pass 30, or you don marry and get pot belly, no try am o. |

Ibime: Not at that speed. The day wey I jump from bus doing just about 15km/hr na him I know say oil dey Newton head Na you no apply Newtown. Na something wey those area boys dey apply without knowing. If you are jumping from a moving bus what you must NEVER do is jump and stand still. That is what makes you lose balance or tear your ACL. You have to jump and keep running for the first few meters. Once a bus has reached under 20km/hr it is fair game to jump down. The only thing is to make sure there are no pedestrians or roadside traders that will impede your landing. You land and run for about 3-4 secs and you are good. It is a simple sturvs. |

Pair it with Black American Twitter and you’ve got the perfect cocktail of dysfunction. Two digital neighborhoods where healing goes to die and toxicity gets a standing ovation. How many Senators, or political appointees have attacked airlines for missing their flight? I'm assuming these set are influential enough to do that.
But when one person does it, we all are wicked
When Hushpuppy was caught, every Nigerian is a scammer
Make una dey try fear God inside the exaggerations. You modified a statement to your own desire and then started attacking and criticizing it. The point is not about EVERY Nigerian being this or that. The point is that the politicians are indicative or representative of the people. They are only doing their own on a larger and more high-profile scale. This all started from the claim that the politicians were different from the people, not a statistical exercise on whether 95% or 87.46% of Nigerians were wicked. |

Infact, we can say a good number of rich Nigerians have missed their flight this year.
People miss their flights everyday. We are yet to see Air Peace releasing back to back statements on this kind of behavior
But when one person does it, it's a reflection of who Nigerians are, innit? The Nigerian that had the influence to do it, did it. The Nigerians that have the influence to block road for parties have been doing it for decades. The ones that think they can block the road with their car, while other motorists beg them when they are in the wrong have been doing it for years. The ones that will hold the key to the staff toilet so that they can have access to a clean toilet while other staff have to go elsewhere, do it. The ones using hospital ambulance to transport esteemo are doing it. Everybody is doing what his/her power can carry. |

raumdeuter: When Oshomole was a tailor he will claim the labor leaders are the devil When he became a labor leader he will claim politicians, Governors and Senators are the devil When he became a politician governor and now Senator he will now see it has always been inside him
Just like many today claiming our politicians are a special breed until they become politicians 100%. Private citizens blocking the road with their cars and refusing to allow other cars pass, even though they are in the wrong. Chilling in their Benz SUV thinking they do not have to listen to these Toyota and Honda driving rabble. People begging "oga, please now, just reverse a little so that other cars can move". Oshiomole just did it at the level available to him, just like most other Nigerians do. The idea that once people become political leaders, they enter one shrine or room, and their entire personality/character/value system gets an instantaneous demonic overhaul, is a soothing fantasy. Power does not change people. It only reveals who they truly are. |

BlueRayDick: It is actually a risk that is not peculiar to Nigeria.
If u are involved in project finance and u want to access credit from international lenders like IFC, they will require you to get yourself protected by getting insurances that will cater for losses that may be attributable to fraud or dishonest act of ur employees. It doesn't matter whether u are located in Africa or Asia.
That being said, I am not saying the rate at which people embezzle and misappropriate funds in this part of the world is normal. That is a totally different discussion entirely which I didn't intend to have with my response to Amoto. I was just clearing him that he's just forcing the sabotage angle and that he's made it a hill upon which he will build his mosque(Pun intended) Yeah, i was not addressing the sabotage angle. And you hit the nail on the head. Embezzlement is not a Nigerian word after all. It is all about the rate and audacity. Even politicians abroad are said to be corrupt. One of my neighbors was complaining about corruption here a couple of months ago and the Nigerians amongst us were just smiling. The guy no understand say there are levels to corruption. |

BlueRayDick: 😂😂😂
This is normal fraud that happens in almost companies. Bankers divert bank funds and withdraw customers fund illegally, drivers of trucks of manufacturing firms run off with truckload of goods, site managers sell off construction materials, etc.
These are typical business risks which most businessmen men already put in measures to manage. I'm sure Dangote has fidelity guarantee insurance that will reimburse him for whatever amount out of the 4 billion naira they are unable to reviver from the culprit after prosecution. It's one of the requirements his lenders would have him provide before they advance him credit for the construction and operation of the refinery.
That's not "another case of sabotage" , it's just defalcating employees trying to defraud their employer and getting caught. Bankers normally divert funds. Drivers normally run away with company goods. Site managers normally sell off construction materials. We however expect this society that has people from all works of life normally and fraudulently obtaining whatever they can get their hands on to produce politicians that will not normally embezzle public funds. It is a makanaki something. |

User09: Not sabotage. Just pure crookedness and thievery which doesnt surprise most of us
Private sector professionals who would also argue that they are completely different from the politicians.
Befuddling that people were still disputing afrodoc's position the other day about the similarity between the average Nigerian and their politicians.
Anyone who thinks otherwise isnt being totally honest or has a political agenda/undertone. There's a mindset problem that needs a overhaul If a few of those 12 people become local government chairmen or commissioners in the future, people will start acting shocked and asking why Nigerian politicians are wicked.

Maybe Pep was trying to push him so he can fulfill his huge potentials but he wanted none of that...Another talented player who failed to live up to his potential... Since Sane's ACL injury he has not been the same. It changed him from lightning fast to just another player with decent speed. It also altered the trajectory he was on in his last 2 seasons at City. For a player whose strength was that speed and not supreme technical ability, that was the beginning of the end. |

Capaldi: Italy have quality players when everyone is fit.
Goalkeepers: Donnarumma, Vicario, Meret
Defenders: Cambaiasso/ Di Lorenzo. Bastoni. Scalvani/Calafiori Udogie/Di Marco
Midfield: Tonali, Barella and any of locatelli, Fratessi, Rovella, Zaniolo etc
Wingers: Maldini, Orsolina, Raspadori,
Strikers: Retegui with kean as back up. All the wingers you mentioned are mediocre. Retegui at 26 has had only 1 good season in Europe and was going on loan for years until he turned 24. The jury is still out on him. Keane is 25 and this season was his first season scoring more than 12 league goals. Outside the GK, Tonali, and maybe Barella and Bastoni na mediocre full the squad. The 2002 squad (that didn't even go far) for instance had Cannavaro, Nesta, Pirlo, De Piero, Totti, Vieri, Buffon, Inzaghi, Albertini, Zambrotta. Italy is not producing talented players at the rate and of the quality of some of the other nations. That is the truth. |
