Maz, Martinez and Dalot should ideally all rest from the next starting lineup. The problem is that we don't have a readymade replacement for Martinez. Maybe Lindelof can play there with Maguire at CCB and Yoro at RCB.

So far, the team structure is better than before and the style change is working. Just that some of the players are not up to the standard required.

I have the same problem with him that I had with Ander Herrera. I like midfielders who are good on the ball. He has to improve in that aspect for me. Defensively he superb.

Take out Maz who is on a yellow card and having an iffy game. Move Antony to RWB and send Amad on.

Move Bruno to midfield. Take out Eriksen and bring Garnacho to left 10.

He has done very well so far especially off the ball which i always felt he would. I am still unsure about his passing though. The one thing i will say about him on the ball is that he is smart about not forcing things if he feels he can't complete the pass. The problem is that there are passes that i see that he should make that he declines to make because he is unsure. We need him to make those passess in order to move the ball better and break lines in midfield.

I think the addition of de Lima brought an imbalance the same way the recent addition of Mbappe is doing. However, I agree with your perspective regarding how the absence of Hiero and Makalele led to further imbalance in the team.

3 of those 4 won La Liga and Champions League together and in their first 2 years together. The 1st year all 4 played together they won the Liga title.

Very crucially for my initial statement, they all got along well together and enjoyed playing together. There was no ego clash between them because of Ballon d'Or rivalry.
