You know they are flawed upstairs, how else would an individual present his opinions as fact and then defend them shamelessly

If this is true then either Aregbesola is an economic genius or he's a babalawo! shocked shocked

The man is brilliant and no amount of negative rhetoric would make a sane man doubt that. Sincerely he has had to do much with very little.

His only mistake was his insistence not to reduce the size of.the public service.

What is even wrong with this country

I don't know the last time you saw a Major General as the CO of a FOB. Most front line leads are no more than majors or colonels. The generals remains in situation rooms and Central Command bases

i just hate the fact that dead bodies are treated like abandoned properties....Culture or not!
Even in death, there is some thing called last respect!
If that is how they are "culturally" buried then i think the northern region has really lost it!

I dont care if the "coffin way" is being practiced by the europeans, atleast they respect the dead more than some africans!
Even the blood of one of the deceased is soaking the white sheet wrapping the body....
How wud U support the fact that the dead should be treated like scum? Are U okay? undecided undecided

It's not a northern thing I thought I made that very clear on my post. It's a common human way of burying the dead. There is meant to be no vanity in death.

The people were wrapped up and prayed upon in the manner which is ethnically, ethically and religiously accepted by the vast majority of humans worldwide. Many cultures burn their dead of just throw them in a shallow pit and stack some stones over them.

The practice of cofffins and graves is illogical to those who bury their dead within such short notice added the fact this was a mass grave.

You'll have to give them credit looks like every pit was personalized for the occupants height.

You are just injecting your own personal opinion and establishing it as the standard other humans must follow. One would think you are infallible

You claim to be tolerant but your first instructive statement makes it clear you knew ahead of the plan to commit serious crimes (defined by the Hague) that amounts to nothing less than ethnic cleansing.

You are not a Christian ! I would like to clarify that to you if you have been so detached from the word of God.

You don't believe in what is right as opposed to your claims and you are certainly not tolerant.

The darkest section of hell is reserved for you unless you cleanse yourself and ask God for forgiveness.

In Pastor Chris' street there are non-believers who pay tax to the govt also. Why expect 'tithe' money to service people who don't believe in tithe?

He may be worse than Mugabe as he'll be certain not to leave the same loopholes that resulted in Bob's ouster

dear nafeesa, i strongly condem massacres on all fronts. but d wolrd was not buikt by peace. it was by wars.ur Fulani brothers understand this. thats why its easy for them to graze on peoples crops and kill and rape .. they understand that this earth or land is for the strongest. they are ready to die ant anytime achieving their conquest. but the problem is that they failed to understand that they have the right to strike but the agrieved also have a right to respond proportionately or even more devastating. u r saying we should condem violence but foolanis love violence. i dont think they want us to even sympathize with them. it is normal to them. a price if war. so definitely, they will attack bachama villages, and bachama will attack back. thats for sure. so d cycle continues. how many times do we have to condem violence,. the only solution is for foolanis to embrace peace and stop ooen grazin and normadic life. it is not normal and it is barbaric . it secludes them from civilization and makes them behave like animals and animals love to steal kill and destroy. anyways i still hate violence but if i have to kill to defend myself or avenge a loved one ..

May God have mercy on your soul

They don't even have a single regard for their loved ones!
Just imagine how the dead bodies were wrapped up like sack of goods to be transported!
They didn't even wipe off or clean the blood or even get a smaller coffin for these young ones who had no idea what their foolish fathers were fighting!
Poverty indeed has to do with the mindset!
Can a rich family from the north condone such treatment of their loved ones who died?
Smh angry angry angry

That's the traditional way of burying people, it is not unique to the Hausa Fulani , many in Africa and beyond Africa bury their dead in similar fashion.

The idea of burying the dead in a Woden coffin is unique to Europeans and came with the rise of catholism.

The use of bamboo to cover the graves is also logical because many insects are repelled by that wood.

Any Muslim man worldwide who dies is packaged and buried exactly the same way naked and simple back to his creator in same manner he came into this world. You must not be conversant with tradition or you are bigoted and looking for an issue to hold on to

There is no other way around this, blood will surely flow in Adamawa.

No need calling God here because the law of nature must take it's place.

Kill and be killed
Sow and reap.

The children killed belonged to fathers who're ready to die just to get revenge. No need being an hypocrite here.

It will surely happen.

Avoid anything Adamawa for the next 6-1yr

This would go on if not resolve now for the next 20 years.

It is crazy but it is a failure on the path of the government. The fulanis have always used the line that they are free to reside in any part of Nigeria. Nobody is arguing that fact. But these demons go about killing and raping because of bloody cows that will eventually be slaughtered and eaten. The fulanis are specialists in the murder and maiming of children. I can never forget the pictures and saw of dogon na hawa. I didn't have the mind to go and see how these beasts slaughtered 500 women and children. I don't feel any bit of pity for them. I think all ethnic groups who are suffering from the Carnage caused by these demons should meet them with equal force.

Meet who ? One consequence of revenge is that it always targets the innocent and those who have no stake in the matter.

Here we have children and women butchered and you are here stating rubish

You are very observant. The op is evil with one purpose: to incite and create justification for any reprisals by her useless n archaic Fulani herdsmen. Very evil woman

What you should ask yourself if the information provided is true or false.

All that is required of you is to condemn the callous murder of the humans to encourage the police to arrest those responsible and apply them to the judicial process and for security forces to be vigilant in averting reprisals .

Your attempt to descredit the author is pointless and sad. It reveals you are heartless and human lives are of no value to you. Some of those kids killed have a promise they may have been the bridge builders of tomorrow who would champion peace and progress but your hatred and wickedness has obstructed your vision

The seed of some of the murders in the likes of S.Kaduna going by the credible information gotten so far were sown when Fulani passing some of those areas were killed in 2011. If this incident is not condemned and those responsible arrested, tried and condemned to death as our Constitution so prescribes it opens an avenue for revenge attacks.

In the many years I have been on nairaland I've not had any cause to set up an alternative account whenever my main account has been blocked for flimsy reasons until today.
I opened the thread yesterday about the Fulani killed by the militia in Adamawa and wept. I was so shocked and disturbed I scrolled through so fast to avoid the horrific sight of young children dismembered and butchered by callous men.

What was more disheartening was the statement made by people some who claim to fear God and swear they have good conscience

Such statements as
"nobody has the monopoly of violence"

"An eye for an eye"

"It's just payback"

And one which defines wickedness in its entirety "this is not genocide but reprisal attack" as thou those are mutually inseparable actions

To think there are so called mods who sight this and do nothing and then ban folks like me for over 3 months for referring to someone as "ewu"

Nairaland has gone from a venue for Nigerians to discuss politics and current events to a courtyard where biafrans frollic and bicker with the zoo people, where false information is dispelled and hate speech is promoted.

Seun Osewa needs to do something and do it very fast if this platform would survive.
