They've launched a new series of corsairs, destroyers and are building ships at a pace not seen since the peak of the British empire. That is the real threat, china is busy building artificial Islands and encroaching on the sovereign territory of it's neighbours all the way to India and contesting the ownership of many natural islands. I've lived in a Catholic dominated country for coming on 3 decades and I can tell you what you call pagan celebrations which they have observed from the middle ages continue to be present in their cultural practices such as Christmas. |

God has no religion. Yes we need Hid divine help. All through as you rightly stated. However you can only get this divine help by following after the principles of God, and to be able to do this, the divine help one needs is only found through Jesus Christ.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
I preach Jesus Christ. Not religion. God has no religion but you have in your OP attacked cultural practices which have no connection to religion such as Ojude Oba |
Christianity Etc › Re: You Can't Be A Christian And Still Join In Pagan Traditions by Afrojuju2017(m): 2:01pm On Apr 12 |
obonujoker: Any Culture or tradition, that does not glorify God is already satanic and immoral.
As Christians, true children of God, we are to separate ourselves from such practices - 2 Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
You cannot call yourself a Christian and you do Masquerade, you do Ifa, you do New yam festival, You do Amadioha , You do Ogun, you do Ojude Oba, You do Raping culture festivals... You may not attend but you sponsor and support with you money...
As a child of God, A Christian, going to church with Bible, you must choose one, whether you follow God or follow the traditions of men inspired by the devil and His agents. See what Apostle Paul wrote about his own- Galatians 1:14 And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers. 1:15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,
God had to separate him from all those traditions.
Remember the day you accepted Jesus, is the Day you decide to follow Him and do the will of God. May the Lord help us
And if you are still blinded by traditions and Cultures, Remember none of them can connect you to God. Jesus has paid the final price. Anything outside Jesus Christ leads you to damnation.
May the Lord bless and save us. Amen OP you failed to mention Christmas which is definitely a pagan tradition. |

Helinuse: Calm down bro. 😅😅😅
Having a more powerful airforce does not mean air dominance. Russia has not dominated the airspace of Ukraine. The day they do, the war is over. Up till now, no Russian aircraft has gone close to the capital, Kyiv.
I repeat: you don’t know what air dominance means. If you do, you would have known that once a country has air dominance, 100 of their troops, can defeat 10 million of the other people’s troops.
ALL the Arab world with superior airforce, went after Israel in 1967 and 1983. The number of Arabs to Israeli soldiers were 80:1. But Israel, as an intellectually superior nation to those Arabs, dominated the skies and won on SIX DAYS!
If israel goes after China, same thing: it will finish the war in one week.
Russia hasn’t defeated Ukraine simply because it doesn’t have the power to. It was an over rated country.
No one overrated Iran. Iran overrated itself. This is a new one, Isreal would defeat China in a war. Did you snort coke before typing that ! |

ddippset: God forbid.
Whether order or judgement,,
You don't even need to go to Oyo high court to remember that an order or whatever was given a day before that convention, giving them permission to proceed.
That "order" was given the day before the Ibadan convention and clearly states;
"proceed with the convention" and "INEC monitor the convention"
And you're still here saying what I don't know. An order is not a judgement, it was also in blatant conflict with the prior orders and judgements of the federal high court and at least another high court which had not been vacated. Seyi Makinde was told by Saraki to delay the convention and allow them to resolve for fundamental legal issues, but they wanted to work to an already concluded decision because of Wike, They tried to beat Wike in his game and they found they were way over their heads that was their primary error. They should have just played along with Wike and then undermine him at the convention that is how a smart bunch work. |

Helinuse: Cho Cho Cho
You are down playing the power of a country that can challenge another country air attack with a country that has no challenge at all but Russian and Chinese toys. Israel alone, dismantled ALL the air defenses before even America forayed into the war. If the air defense were so good, why hasn’t it taken down even one Israel jet when swarms of 500 jets per wave, dance in Tehran everyday.
You talk about the IRGC one million army, and you baffle me. 😅😅😅 The army couldn’t protect their missile city, air defense, nuclear facilities, etc. yet you think they can protect themselves with AK 47s. 😅😅😅
I bet you don’t know what air superiority means. Or you actually do, but choose to be oblivious of reality.
If you don’t, then let me help you: it means that even if your army is one billion strong, but has no air support, the other army that is just 30 soldiers strong will have only one responsibility: mopping-up operations. You really do not know the dynamics of war, evidently you think it's a child's play. If America send their army into Iran they'll just be sending those boys and girls into certain death, Russia have a substantially more powerful air force than Ukraine, but see how long the war has been protracted. The issue is not one of might, Russia faced the same issue with Afghanistan in the 70s, America returned from Vietnam having fundamental failed to fulfil their objectives, the only thing certain is that Isreal would get what they want which is the devastating consequences on the civilian population, the Americas would be overwhelming participants in brazen human rights violations and would pay for it in body bags and metal coffin. It is not a win - able conflict for anybody. |

You are comparing Iraq, whose fighter jets challenged the US in multiple gunfights, to Iran, whose are running in tunnels and loosing all their Navy, Airforce, and launchers. Iraq made a fundamental error in trying to challenge the nation with the single largest air force using old migs29s and no anti air. I repeat Iran is not Iraq, Iran is a country that has more anti air s400s and possibly s500s supplied from russia, those have been known to take down gen4 and some gen5 aircraft anything less than mach2 is within range. They also have an organised army and the IRGC is known to be disciplined, their society is substantially more advanced than what Saddam turned Iraq to. |

Did you bother to read the text that you are quoting It explicitly states the "Federal court in Oyo has granted an ex-parte order" an order is not a final judgement, no one goes to court to seek an order and then operates based on the order, you go to court to get a substantive judgement. You also ignored the part where it stated "pending the determination of the motion on notice" It's the reckless granting of ex-parte orders that is the problem with the judiciary. |
