Nextjs:There is no need for network to complete validation as the BVAS is pre configured for the polling unit with the voter register data for all the eligible voters in that polling unit. There is no live network connectivity or data transfer involved in the accreditation of voters. There is a fundamental ignorance being displayed by the silly lawmakers |
hoseao:It's her husband I pity most, her actions are exposing him |
SmartPolician:This is a witness report filed by TVC "[b] Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, was today at the centre of a fresh controversy at the National Assembly following a confrontation at the office of the Chairman of the Senate Committee on the North Central Development Commission. The incident began after the senator arrived late for a budget defence session of the committee, which had been scheduled for 10 a.m. and proceeded as planned, with prior notice circulated to lawmakers and journalists. On arrival, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan reportedly met an empty meeting venue, as the session had already been concluded and senators had dispersed. Aggrieved by the development, she proceeded to the office of the committee chairman, Senator Titus Zam, accompanied by her legislative and security aides, in an attempt to gain access. Tension escalated when she was denied entry into the chairman’s office. The senator then took a seat directly in front of the office, effectively blocking access to the chairman’s doorway. The situation intensified further when a phone belonging to one of her aides, reportedly used to record the unfolding events , was seized by members of staff in the chairman’s office. The seizure angered the senator, who threatened to go live on social media, alleging that the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, was using her colleagues to frustrate her. The confrontation took a more dramatic turn when an exchange between a staff member and the senator’s team degenerated. A comment questioning her decision to go live over Senate matters reportedly provoked a reaction, culminating in a slap delivered to the staff member by one of her security aides. The altercation triggered a scuffle, leading to the senator’s aides being forced out of the office. However, one of the aides reportedly returned and attempted to draw a firearm, prompting security personnel in the office to overpower and remove him from the premises. Calm was eventually restored after another senator arrived at the scene, engaged Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan in a private discussion, and directed that everyone vacate the area. The incident has further heightened tensions within the Senate, though there has been no official statement from the chamber’s leadership at the time of this report. Penboy:I was as shocked but I am telling you for a fact it arrived all three passports, my wife was renewing the passport while my kids were getting new passports. It arrived two days after they visited the embassy. A friend who stayed at my place the day he came to do his biometric in my city as he couldn't get a date at the embassy nearest to him received his passport within 5 days. |
Jogs1900:My wife got her passport renewed and got my kids their first Nigerian passport and it was delivered by DHL within 2 days of them going to the embassy for biometrics |
YesDaddyTill203:His parents might have Nigerian ancestry, a lot of Yoruba migrated to there. |
LagosOrigin:Peter is no more wearing black! |
MrSly:The reason we came off the list is because of Tinubu. He paid off our debts in record time and expanded put reserve to the biggest it's been in over 2 decades |
Racoon:INEC is talking absolute nonsense and the Telcos top, they are host not willing to say they are incompetent because we know the Telcos have failed to put infrastructure to support global connection country wide. The gsm map shows less than 40% coverage so how can they be able to guarantee connectivity. INEC ace been getting billions every four years and they are just looking for ways to make FG be their super sugar daddy. Chasing an idea that is beyond the nation and needles. |
UceeGod:There is a disturbing trend that we must address, let's leave any sentiments aside. We've seen repeated and elevated incidents of vicious physical and emotional abuse of domestic staff and young people especially young girls in the care of women from the SE and SS. It's an issue that must be addressed by the government, strong punishment must be enforced and this must be stamped out. It would also be cautionary to everyone in Nigeria irrespective of where you come from and what your societal status is |
Elusive001:GEeJ was president and we saw worse, you couldn't even love around Abuja freely. Peter Obi was governor in Anambra at the height of kidnapping and it was horrible. I still remember the incident of the people who were made lie on the floor while a large Marco Polo bus drove over them. Brain matter and blood everywhere it was on his same NL |
Riversides2003:MC never attempted WAEC, I doubt he'll be able to satisfy the minimum requirements. I foresee his kids however having the opportunity in the future. |
Tooreda:There is only about 2 seriki in Lagos and they are both recognised by the governor as they are installed by the Oba of Lagos. I know of the Seriki in Agege who is the most senior leader of the Hausa/ Fulani community in Lagos, my own mother is from Agege and the Seriki family are so intertwined in Agege they are more than 6 generations now that only know Lagos never been to the North, they speak Yoruba as their first language, many have Yoruba names most have married into Yoruba families. |
fredoooooo:Th grandeur and intentional manner in which the Eyo festival and the 6 white cap chiefs were installed between December and January signalled that the indigenes of Lagos were determined to stamp their authority on the affairs of Lagos. They'll finish it off with an outing in 2027 |
seunmsg:That looks like his wife, the young one he married like 10 years ago |
Just checked out the tyla push to start video and both the music and video are crap. Utterly nonsense. Now that doesn't mean I have an opinion on Davido's song either but that push to start is totally crap. The lyrics are basic the song has no direction. I think a Grammy winning song should be one that has long term hearing possiblity |
HacheNoire:If you have a snake bite do not go to a private hospital the likelihood they'll have antivenom is low, those thing have to be stored in fridges at a temperature. |
Rhymesy:The number of snakes species in UK is very low and to add the few snakes in UK most are not venomous. UK, Ireland and vast areas of Europe where the temperature is low are not conducive to reptiles as they need the sun to keep warm. In Australia and other parts of the world where snakes are a reality the number of individuals who die from a bite are much higher. The other thing is if a snake bites you it's best to figure out what type it is because the anti venom is specific for different species, time is also of the essence as some venoms act on the respiratory system some target the organs. |
unclejb2:Yet not contributing to vat in there indigenous area. Such nonsensical stuff you guys come up with |
givedemwotowoto:Absolute nonsense, if there is indeed major trade you'd expect to see it in taxes and levies. It's either there is extreme tax evasion or there is low economic activity |
LibertyRep:Civilians are always involved in coups, every coup since the 66 coup involved civies in Nigeria. |
RISQUE:Walk free straight to prison, she might not do hard time maybe 2 years suspended but she'll be convicted that is for sure. That then opens up possibilities in Nigeria , Her brother actually stands to loose more in this case |
EpicDude123:Even she knows she's toast. They've been holding her case for years, her tactic was to delay the case and thereby demoralise witnesses, some may pass away naturally in between etc she's delayed it long enough over 10 years now. |
SpaceX:Why should she, he's a criminal and her job is not to go traveling over the world making a case for drug dealers. There are many Nigerians in very difficult situations not of their making that need help not folks like this. They should hang him soonest abeg |
PulaPower:The withheld the last name of the Canadian too, their message must be very clear. |
Lexusgs430:Chopping watery bean in Sokoto |
HeadNigga:D'banj in his rainy days. That guy ain't boit to go broke anytime soon. His royalties would be something to envy remember he left mavins with all his master's and royalties |
SixSeven:The woman is just bitter, she can't go and contest in her Imo state and in Ondo when has soiled her husband's legacy her son's political career is finished in Ondo state and Owo especially. Her kids can't even contest in their wards that's how bad it is, maybe another Akeredolu but surely not any of her kids its that bad, she is having an issue with the King aswell. They are now persona non grata in the place, I think she's either in IB or Lagos now. |
onuman:Ondo and Ekiti Obedient.! If there is such a place that Obi has no chance it's those two places. If there are areas where Tinubu can be guaranteed votes in SW without campaign ts those two areas. Even in the time of Awolowo his stronghold was Ondo which included what is now Ekiti, Obi is not an Awoist so they can't even vote for him. |
Goo0dHardDick:I think the American would be at a crossroad, it's either their move away from the Trump style leader and swear never to elect such an individual or they fall deeper into this sort of character. I think if a moderate Teddy Roosevelt type leader were to emerge they'll be too eager to embrace such a character. |
Kalulu44:I saw El Had Diouf talking to him and also on a phone call possibly from a top official telling the team to get back on the field |
3kay945:He didn't approach the keeper after, he meant to score remember they've not won in 50 years , the king has put a lot into this, they would have had no issues winning by penalty. It was the ruckus caused by Senegal that caused the concentration issues |
