PoliticsRe: 2019: How Atiku Will Lose — And Other Matters~The Cable by afroniger: 6:54am On Jan 06, 2019
I think the author of the piece is right about Buhari support base being the rural and urban poor in the North. Case in point, I recently witnessed an exchange between a northerner shoe-shiner and an igbo trader right before last Christmas at Ikeja computer village.

The trader was trying to get the hausa guy to accept lower than his asking price for fixing and shinning his shoes because according to him Buhari has destroyed Nigeria's economy and therefore money is tight. Thinking the hausa chap would be swayed by his position he then declared that he is 'Atikulated', only for the shoemaker to retort that no he will still support Buhari no matter what. The thing nearly turned to fight between the two men because the trader couldn't seem to understand why the shoemaker was so fanatical in his support for Buhari.

If that Lag-based shoemaker could be that determined to still support Buhari, I can only imagine how much more the support for him would be in the North.

they released Obi was winning the removed the pull result from their site, only to published few weeks after the debate cheesy grin
So because the final result didn't favor Obi you are now accusing the same premium times that put up the poll of manipulation? You must have caught Peter Obi's lying spirit/bug.

You are very correct. And its not just Nigerian women - women from all over the world are shatted on by these Muslim sheikhs.
Right. Not just naija women. Like the guy said, a lot of Hollywood b and c-list celebs, porn stars, etc, are in on it. That is how many of them are able to afford and maintain their extravagant lifestyles. Those depraved Arab sheikhs pay them top money for that crap. Tufiakwa!

Basically, this guy is saying IF a single girl goes to Dubai chances are that she is going there for prostitution. But not just any kind of prostitution but sex that involves things like defecation. Those Arabian sheikhs like to defecate on women.

http://www.returnofkings.com/57833/do-women-become-irreparably-damaged-after-allowing-arab-princes-to-defecate-on-them
A lot of our naija women are deep into the Dubai coprophilia thing for money. I heard that nowadays, Dubai is not too keen on issuing visas to single Nigerian ladies because of their suspicion that they are going there for prostitution; they grill them a lot more rigorously these days. I recall that the 'actress' Daniella Okeke was once linked to coprophilia sometime ago when her chat with one of her Arab clients was leaked; in the chat she expressed her willingness to be defecated on and eat the guy's sh*t in exchange for money. What some women will do for money eh?

Lagos State economy would grow by four per cent in 2019, the Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, said.

Ambode, who spoke at separate meetings on Tuesday in an address he delivered to the state’s foremost social clubs – the Yoruba Tennis Club and Island Club, said “Lagos on a stand-alone basis in the year under reference, would achieve four per cent growth in its GDP, which is currently valued at $136 billion.”

The governor, who echoed the IMF’s (International Monetary Fund’s (IMF’s) forecast, said the state’s growth projection will exceed that at the federal level.

He said: “With its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) currently standing at $136 billion, Lagos economy will record four per cent growth in 2019, while the national economy will grow by 2.8 per cent, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has predicted.

Unlike the national economy, Ambode pointed out that the social intervention initiatives of its administration would also go a long way to facilitate reduction in unemployment rate, saying the 2019 economic outlook was quite positive.

In his words: “According to IMF, the Nigeria GDP will grow from 1.9 per cent in 2018 to 2.8 per cent in 2019. Lagos on a stand-alone basis will achieve over four per cent growth in GDP. By implication, this could be more if the congestion at the port and the negative effect this has on the economy is addressed.”

Ambode, whose speech was witnessed, among others by former Commissioner for Works, Alhaji Femi Okunnu; Chairman, Yoruba Tennis Club, Prof. Adetokunbo Fabanwo; his Island Club counterpart, Olabanji Oladapo and the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, said the state’s 2019 budget will be dedicated towards the completion of ongoing infrastructure projects, creation of more jobs, supporting businesses to thrive, and strengthening the security architecture of the state.

He recalled the activities of his administration in the last three and a half years, saying that it was particularly fulfilling that the state has made tremendous progress in all sectors of the economy and has become more globally competitive and strategically positioned among the major city-states worldwide.

“Three and a half years down the line, our state has progressed in all sectors of the economy. We have charted a clear path to the destination we have all dreamt about and desired.

According to Bloomberg Ambode said: ‘Today, our Lagos has become more globally competitive and strategically positioned among the major city-states of the world. Our state has become a top destination for business and tourism and it can only get better

“We have undertaken projects in all sectors of the economy with the sole intention of making life better for our people. All of these and similar initiatives were made possible by the personal taxes of high net worth residents of our state represented at this gathering which account for a significant percentage of our IGR. I want to use this opportunity to thank you so much for providing the resources, which have empowered us to make a positive difference in the lives of all citizens of our state,” Ambode stated.

This sort of incidents are becoming more rampant these days. Bosses should endeavor to settle their apprentices, no matter how little, to avoid this type of occurrence.

I guess you are one of his blind supporters. Keep hyping him you hear? I am sure you are amongst those who would have thought it impossible that Amosun's preferred candidate would have eventually lost the APC ticket owing to his Abuja connection, but we all saw what transpired. And if Abiodun ends up winning what will you do? Kill yourself? At this point Amosun has been demystified and anything is possible. And even if Abiodun doesn't win neither will his preferred candidate so either way he will still end up the loser. He has done his 8-years so he should go and sit down someplace.

PoliticsRe: 'I Only Fear God And Buhari' - Amosun Knocks Oshiomhole by afroniger:
Smh. Amosun ought to have learned some humility by now after his failure to have his way due to his own hubris, arrogance, and winner-takes-all nature. Before his preferred candidate lost out in the APC primaries, he was busy overrating himself and proudly mouthing off about how he would singlehandedly handpick his own successor (and later other political positions) and damning the consequences because of his Abuja connection. He should pipe down on his arrogance else the same fate that saw to his earlier humiliation may just deal him an even more severe blow at the polls.

PoliticsNdigbo Muslims Unite, Align With Igbo Agenda by afroniger(op): 10:46am On Dec 21, 2018
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/12/ndigbo-muslims-unite-align-with-igbo-agenda/

DECEMBER 21, 2018 NEWS

Ndigbo Muslims of Nigeria have agreed to speak with one voice through the South East Muslims Organization of Nigeria (SEMON) and to align themselves with Ndigbo agenda even while promoting the unity, peace and progress of Nigeria.

They appreciate the efforts of Igbo leaders in defence of the Ndigbo cause and interest in the Nigerian project, but express concern over the Igbo Leaders of Thought and the Ohaneze Ndigbo who meet on behalf of the Igbo Nation without the inclusion and involvement of the Ndigbo Muslims’ representatives, a political strategy they describe as counterproductive for the development of Igboland and the nation towards the Southeast project of Nigerian Presidency in 2023.

In a communique issued at the end of their national summit in Enugu, last weekend, signed by the National Chairman, Muhammad Obiahu Ajah Jr., FCIA, National Secretary, Abdur-Rahman Nwabueze Urama, National Public Relations Officer (PRO), Yahya Onyedikachi Abugu, and endorsed by state representatives and elders, Sheikh Adam Abdullah Idoko (Enugu State), Sheikh Haroun Ogbonnia Ajah (Ebonyi State), HRH, Dr. Abdulfattah Emetumah represented (Imo State), Alhaji (Hon.) Musa Iheakaram (Abia State) and Alhaji Sani Ejor (Anambra State), they resolved that their readiness to meet with the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, each of the Governors of Southeast States, Ohaneze Ndigbo, the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), Jama’atul Nasiril-Islam (JNI), the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Muslim Ummah of Southwest Nigeria (MUSWEN), amongst others.

They reaffirmed their position to participate fully in the 2019 general elections and vote for candidates of individual choices especially those who will carry Igbo Muslims along with appointments into political offices of trust. It was agreed that Ndigbo Muslims contesting for positions in the forthcoming elections be massively supported for success. On this, Ndigbo Muslims should continue to strive for excellence in their private life pursuits and support governments of their respective States and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

They prayed for the peaceful conduct of the general elections, smooth handover to all the winners and urged Nigerians to work for the growth of Nigeria as one united indivisible nation.

They warned against violent campaigns and admonished Nigerians especially the youths not to allow themselves to be misused as thugs and criminals by politicians for the elections.

They want to be known and addressed, henceforth, as Ndigbo Muslims and in full identification and promotion of Igbo culture, including Igbo dress and language. In connection to this, they plan the institution of leaderships of Ndigbo Muslims in each of the five states of Southeast and of Igboland.

This is to have organized leaderships like the Emirs in the North and Obas in the West. “For the progress of the Igbo Muslim Ummah, SEMON should continue to advocate for equity and fairness for Igbo Muslims. The organization should cooperate with governmental and non-governmental organizations that mean well for Igboland, for Nigeria and Igbo Muslims.

“SEMON plans to institute an Annual Lecture to commemorate the life and achievements of late Sheikh Ibrahim Okpani Nwagui who brought Islam to limelight in Igboland. SEMON also encourages intermarriages amongst themselves through adoption of the Sunnah, the practical life of Prophet Muhammad in all aspects of their lives.”

"While we appreciate the efforts of our Igbo Leaders in defence of the Ndigbo cause and interest in the Nigeria project, we appeal to the Igbo Leaders of Thought and the Ohaneze Ndigbo to note that their meetings on behalf of the Igbo Nation in this regards without the inclusion and involvement of the Ndigbo Muslims representatives is not a good political strategy.

We cannot be decrying the scheming out of Igbos from strategic positions in Nigeria while we internally marginalize and exclude Ndigbo Muslims who have the same stake in the Nigerian project because of their choice of relationship with the Almighty.

The tendencies are not good or productive for the development of Igboland and Nation towards the Southeast project of Nigerian Presidency in 2023.”

Present at the Summit were Igbo Muslim Leaders, Scholars, Academia, Legal Luminaries, Traditional Rulers, Entrepreneurs and SEMON’s Representatives in the States of the Zone.

Also present were the Federal Commissioner of the South East Geopolitical Zone on the Board of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Alhaji Ibrahim Ezeani, Executive Secretary of Enugu State Pilgrims’ Welfare Board and Deputy National Secretary of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), Sheikh Adam Adbullah Idoko, the 2019 Gubernatorial Candidate of the Peoples Party of Nigeria (PPN) in Ebonyi State, Dr. Haroun Ogbonnia Ajah, HRH, the Offor of Umuofor Kingdom and Chief Imam of Oguta of Imo State, Dr. Abdulfattah Emetumah represented, a senior lecturer of the Federal University, Lafia, Dr. Suleiman Ogah, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Executive Governor of Abia State, Alhaji (Hon.) Musa Iheakaram, the South East Director of National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Arch. Zubayr Usman Ugwu and the Secretary General of Anambra State Muslim Council, Alhaji Sani Ejor. Other prominent Igbo Muslims who graced the Summit were the Southeast coordinator of Federation of Muslim Women Associations of Nigeria (FOMWAN), Hajiya Ruqayyah Ahmad Mika’il represented, Chairman of Imo State Muslim Council, Alhaji Yusuf Nwoha, the Guest Speaker, Alhaji Suleiman Afikpo, Phd, Director of Islamic Center, Uwani-Enugu, Alhaji Musa Ani, Director of Islamic Center Anofia, Ustaz Isa Christian Friday Okonkwo, Board Members of SEMON, legal team of SEMON led by Bar. Haroun Ezeh, amongst others.
