Wenger/Arsenal forced him out Now that you have admitted their situations are kinda similar. . . . .Did United boo Ronaldo. Afterall, Ronaldo was not really at his best unlike the penultimate season when he was scoring for fun. The fans never booed him. . . . . . Motivated by greed?? ![]() I disagree but that's another story.
You had to say you disagree to counter your agreement in the first sentence given away by your smiley lol Abeg make him go. He is gone. Ronaldo scored against sporting lisbon and refused to celebrate why will he be booed? Even though he was not at his best last season, he still did some spectacular stuff and still better than many average players. Why would you boo him? |

Sauron I am not lumping anything together mate. I was only stating the obvious. I never said he asked for a pay rise. What i said in summary is that Ade wanted a better pay which if not satisfied would make him move. And that was exactly what he did. Of course he was persuaded to pen the 80k/week contracvt the way you guys persuaded Ronaldo to forget Real last season but we all knew his heart was in Real. It only took a season for it to matrialize. Ade felt his remuneration was poor and did not like Arsenal wage structure so he wanted a move. The difference between him and Ronaldo is that Ronaldo had a career plan, Ade was motivated by greed. |

Dayokanu, What is different is this "I am being considered a worthy replacement for Henry while not deserving his salary. Yes, I am still under contract to Arsenal but it's up to the directors to satisfy my demands or I'll leave''. |
Sauron but it is true that he said that . . . .Adebayor then took contradiction to new level. Having told the June 28th press conference, "I never cared about playing for money, my happiness is to play to enjoy myself," a day later he told a UK newspaper:http://www.soccerphile.com/soccerphile/premier-league/bigger-than-the-club.html This was also carried by The sun and other frontline media outlets. Did they conspire to lie against him? So please it was not a lie. After the demand, Arsenal only managed 80K for him. He accepted it for the interim while waiting for a better opportunity to move as they did not satisfy his demand. of course he would not ask for a pay rise openly but his body language will do the asking for him. So I never said he was asking for another pay rise I said Because of his dissatisfaction with his wage at Arsenal he was not settled and which was probably the reason for his inconsistency. What you quoted was a part of my argument which with other part led to the final statement. That part alone does not represent my thought process. |
Is it me or does someone else think that the organisers are trying hard to copy BB UK. First is the arrival single sex contestants- UK did it . The only difference girls arrived first before boys. Camping new entrants in a another house, UK also did it. Come on there is no revolution. they are just copying. All good anyway. Let them return shower hour ![]() |
agabaI23:Sauron, read the above post again and tell me where I said he was asking for pay rise? The idea of asking for pay rise came after you read my post. Please show me which sentence or phrase that mentioned that. |
It tells me nothing. . . . . City would pay anything for any player. . . . . . .But for Arsenal fans to be saying a player wanted a pay-rise after just penning a new contract is laughable.
The fact that it is laughable underscores the extent of his greed!
It's a lie fabricated against Adebayor. When u sign a contract for 3 years. . . . . U get no pay-rise for the first 2 years. Just before the 3rd year, the contract can be reviewed. Telling us now Ade wanted a pay-rise within months of getting his 80k per week is something only illiterates can yap about. If you can defend Cesc's flaccid penis rant. . . . . .then i should defend Ade's beyonce rant.
A pay rise does not come in one way. A transfer move to a higher pay is a pay rise. Besides, Ronaldo secured several contract reviews within 2 years just to keep him away from his childhood interest. What stops Arsenal from reviewing his contract after just one year in order to keep him? May be only Man U can do that. |
Of course, that was the way Wenger painted it for you Zombie fans. Ade's wages was sorted immediately after 2007/8 season when he got a pay-rise in a new contract. Does it make sense for him to ask for more within few months after penning a new contract? Why can't Arsenal fans reason like humans? If you believe Ade left for a bigger payrise then there's no point arguing any further. You are hopelessly CLUELESS.
His pay was 'sorted' to 80k not what he wanted. Now he is earning 130k a week what does that tell you? Ade issued a statement that he wanted to go because the fans do not want him. That was just a smokescreen. He felt he is a top scorer and that he is worth more than he is paid. Behind all those statements was one thing, underlying greed. Abeg leave matter! |
Sauron, Ade was not forced to leave! Ade wanted to leave and he has been drumming it into everybody's ear. First it was 120k a week or he goes to Milan! Again it was 'I wouldn't mind playing for Barca' and all those rubbish. Because of his dissatisfaction with his wage at Arsenal he was not settled and which was probably the reason for his inconsistency. No body would force him to stay. He wanted more money and he left. |
no error message. The save window does not pop up. No response! |
The document is already in pdf. He did not put it in pdf. So he wanna save it as pdf. I even tried today from his pc to no avail. he now has 9.1.3 |
