Ashirioluwa: Government needs to bring these hoodlums to justice. Police should get the park manager arrested immediately because they will do more than this if they let them get away this time around.
This is the part I don’t like from the story - that the boy graduated from one university or the other. That he about to travel to US. All that stories are irrelevant.
Either university graduate or not . Either he about to travel to US or not “All Lives Matter “ Sorry to disappoint you but nothing will happen to him. There are allegations he has the backing of the state governor. |

OlujobaSamuel: Hmmmmmmm, the state government brought back NURTW to that Iwo road in the name of park management, now dem don dey terrorise everywhere. I once escaped their crisis when I was in secondary school, I left Iwo road for Lagos, it wasn't upto an hour, the driver was called that kasala don burst for the park. You don't fix what is not broken, previous govt already put them in their place, just maintain it and let it be, you now brought out a convicted criminal (murder) to head a unit known for its violent act, and you expect peace. Village head dey sell weed, wife dey sell ogogoro, and you no want trouble for the village, how possible is that? I swear you really understand what happened. That Auxiliary guy is terrorising Ibadan and he has the backing of the state governor. Seyi Makinde would have been one of the best governors of Oyo state if not for the current state of insecurity and he seems to be doing nothing about it. That's why I still rate Ajimobi as the best so far because apart from the massive infrastructural development he embarked especially during his first tenure, he also made sure that security was very tight in Oyo state, although I don't know hl he managed to do it considering how volatile Ibadan was before his tenure. |

pansophist: That I'm susceptible to fraud even if my senses and eyes are sharp like an Eagle.
It was in high school when I manage save like 5k then. I went to Oshodi to buy a phone, and one of those boys standing on the street advertised his phone to me for even 3x cheaper than the price. I was like mehn, this is scam. I knew this type of scam so I ignored.
But again, he persisted and I decided to just check it out and said to myself, how can he scam me when I'm not even ignorant of the trick? So I followed him to an open secure place and he gave me the phone to operate. I opened it to be sure it has not been overworked inside, checked the screws and battery and it seems good and genuine. He said its 5k (a 15k phone minimum), I believed he stoled it and even if I was hiding my excitement to get such a big phone for such a cheap price, I still priced it to 3500 naira, and he grudgingly agreed, telling me its because its the first time and he wanted to make me a customer. I was soooo happy.
He remove his sim, switched off and packaged the phone, gave it to me but I refused, I said he should turn it on, let me be sure he gave me the right phone. He did and right in front of my eyes, gave me the phone and he told me to leave quickly that agberos would want to collect money if they saw we are doing business, so as a sharp guy that just secured a cheap ass price of a big phone, I bounced off happily.
I was on my way home when I slipped my hands into my pocket to feel my new phone and alas, it was sticky and gummy, it was like a bomb exploded in my chest, i took my hand without the phone and it was smelling fufu fufu, alas, I took the phone out and as suspected, it was stuffed with fufu in it. Heaven and hell could not contain my anger that day. I was so angry and felt soo stupid that I went back to search for the guy with a friend to beat him public style, but he is no where to be found. Even the shop we did business at denied knowing him. Up till this day, I can't tell if it was juju or I'm just being stupid, non-attentive or all of the above.
I'm not even angry about the scam, the pain is that I was scam with my eyes fully open and being prepared not to get scammed. All my defenses was nothing in the hands of this scam artist. Since that day, I realise there are areas that where my sense end, others own just begin from there. A whole lagos breed nigga like me got scammed. So damn painful. So yea, when I think of that event I feel really stupid. This got me laughing out loud! |

CSTRR: If you voted for buhari in 2015, but not in 2019, then you are just a little bit smarter than those that voted for him twice.
Buhari had an antecedence. He was head of state in 1983, and people suffered heavily through high inflations and an abysmal standard of living with poor human rights. There was nothing good he had to offer. Fela sang about his poor and wicked government. And many people said it then in 2015 over and over again, so it was not hidden.
If you had voted for a different party, I can understand.
But there is no excuse for voting buhari in 2015. All of you are in the same boat. The boat of naivety and a disrespect for history. I'm back! If you had carefully read my submission, you would have noticed that I didn't vote at all in 2015 because I was faced with the very tough decision of choosing between the devil and red sea. Therefore, your assertion about me holds no water! And I will repeat it again: If I were to choose between PDP and APC in 2015, I would have gone for APC because I wasn't born when buhari was military president. Everything I knew about him them was from history and news. That's why I can't really blame those who wanted to try something different. But to have repeated the mistake of voting APC in 2019 staggers my imagination! Only a fool falls at the same location twice. |

Nigerians really fucckked up in 2015. Nope, Nigerians actually fucckked up in 2019. If I had voted in 2015, I would have voted for APC then because they were painted like Nigeria's Messiah. And PDP made people look for alternative. But to have voted again for the same failure in 2019? I can't wrap my head around it. Nigerians deserve what they are currently getting in terms of governance. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Can You Answer These Tricky Job Interview Questions From Apple Inc? by AgainstIslam: 2:23pm On Apr 14, 2021 |
Psoul: I saw this Interview Questions on Glassdoor and I just felt it might be very useful to some of us given that most companies especially in Nigeria like copying these big tech guys. We all know that Apple is one of the biggest Tech companies in the World and to get a job there wouldn’t be so easy.
Glassdoor decided to make this easy by providing some questions Apple Inc uses to select their employees – I would be revealing 3 questions here that I feel are more brain tasking and require more brain knowledge. Is your brain equipped to answer these Apple’s Job Interview Questions? If Yes? Let’s do this smiley
1. How many children are born every day?
2. If you have 2 eggs, and you want to figure out what’s the highest floor from which you can drop the egg without breaking it, how would you do it? What’s the optimal solution?
3.You have 100 coins laying flat on a table, each with a head side and a tail side. 10 of them are heads up, 90 are tails up. You can’t feel, see or in any other way find out which side is up. Split the coins into two piles such that there are the same number of heads in each pile.”
4. There are three boxes, one contains only apples, one contains only oranges, and one contains both apples and oranges. The boxes have been incorrectly labeled such that no label identifies the actual contents of the box it labels. Opening just one box, and without looking in the box, you take out one piece of fruit. By looking at the fruit, how can you immediately label all of the boxes correctly?
So who can answer any? m |
