Dede Ndewo Sir. Thank you very much for being a good man who is genuinely interested in lifting others and watch them rise along with you. I just started observing NSEMPA from last November and was intrigued by your track record of success here. I followed your advice then, bought a few units of Multiverse at 4.81 and watched with amazement as it skyrocketed to 24.7, I sold off some and the rest recently at 16.5. Then I bought Japaul and Tip at 1.25 each, and I'm watching my portfolio grow once more. I don't know how you do it, but jide nke iji. You're doing well Sir.
Thanks too to all the elders, analysts and commenters here. I'm learning a lot from here.

This bull has really favoured me and the patience has paid off....Finally taking some of my profit from the market to make a down payment on a property.

Atleast, I would always remember the 2024 bull whenever I look at that property and thanks to NSEMPA.

Grateful for the priceless knowledge shared here grin

In all you do please don't invest in only two stocks no matter how promising they are... Learn percentage investment or better still investment by PERCENTAGE...

Have at least 10 fundamentally healthy stocks in your portfolio... E get why!!!

Many of you will remember this in years to come

Diversification is for the uninitiated

One thing that used to be a consolation in this type of today's scenario is that.......na locals still dominate the Market......after like one or 2 days of bear, everything go stabilize again. smiley

I felt some big investors are just taking profit for end of financial year reporting or so.

Because you are not in the market. You are hoping to buy gtbank back at 20 . If gtbank total dividend hit #4.You will never see it again at that price. Unless another recession or covid happens. The world bank is projecting 3.3 percent growth for 2024 and 3.7 2025.This projection is above thr formal forcast. You are going to wait longer than you think, lol

Book mark this post. After the first quarter bull run.The worst that can happen the remaining quarter of the Yr will be flat market. No bull no bear for 2024.Then 2025 will be mad bull because some micro economic decisions will start yielding positive results. I don't like this government but it cannot be as useless as pmb government.

Okay

That's exactly what my question points to. You can max out 300-400% in some stock(penny stocks for example) and as body de sweet you seeing other stocks still riding the wave, you are tempted to enter there too.

That's a recipe for disaster although many times it works. The one you sold and the one you are tempted to buy are all subject to ASI. Once bear show, all go follow irrespective of whether they performed during the bull market Lol

If I sell any gold na better GOLDMINE I dey use am buy... I sell non-dividend paying with bad results to buy stocks with good fundamentals... I have learnt never to tie money down during a bulls market

Just like I sold a bank stock to buy a fundamentally sound stock that is doing far better and if anything happens to the market suddenly it will still be a win win situation for my CAPITAL...

IN INVESTMENT safety of CAPITAL is KEY and premium

Maybe the next strategy to learn is how to sell during the bull and stay on the sidelines till you get robbers price

Should we be looking at another 20% gain in 2024, which will push the All Share Index to about 90,000.

It is very possible, our stocks are still cheap, with the current inflation and currency devaluation. Naia denominated assets will be repriced going forward

My prediction is that we will rapidly attain that in January and thereafter a very long bearish market

With a sublime cool and mature temperament, Emmanuelewumi, with the financial thesis and momerandum that he handed down this hour, has has proved his metus as a financial and investment guru of no mean other, whom any forward looking and dynamic economic intellectual should appreciate and aplaud without necessarily sharing his views.
It would be a rewarding enterprise for humans to jawjaw to learn instead of taking a piece of intellectual discourse as a wrestling championship duel.
My own opinion.

I think NGX is resetting prices after close to a decade of price stagnancy in most stocks. For instance, I just saw that Zenith bank was sold for around N25 in June 2014. So the price pattern for next year may be unusual. Fingers crossed.

And you didn't see when it sold for N10 in 2020?😂
