kcynho: You sound a lil bit like u are new in the POLITICAL SCENE of Nigeria, just like u figured out the difference btw those two words, that's the same way the would continue changing & modifying terms and words till it serves their course right
I'm quite adept on issues concerning Nigerian politics...just want to encourage a culture of folks reading posts properly prior to commenting. ...
kcynho: i can see APC have gradually begin to change wat their manifesto told us before the elections
My good man, there is a difference between "persecute" and "prosecute"......
Persecute - to pursue with harassing or oppressive treatment, especially because of religious or political beliefs, ethnic or racial origin, gender identity, or sexual orientation..
Prosecute - to institute legal proceedings against (a person) or to seek to enforce or obtain by legal process.or to conduct criminal proceedings in court against.
APC will not persecute the outgoing government but will prosecute anyone that they prove has stolen funds....
Gejpresident: Buhari soul long for power in 30 good years
u destroyed Gej government with bokoharam menace, idris deby ur co-sponsor
but I tell u in God's name there shall be no peace in ur Government till 2019
northerners will continue killing them selves why SS/SE will keep on developing and achieving vision 2020/2020 goals
God bless southern Nigeria
From these your comments I guess you'll soon start trekking to Otueke to receive GEJ (joining all the jobless Trekkers roaming the country now)... Elections have come and gone you are still busy wishing the new government bad luck. ..Unless you have plans to relocate out of the country, any bad decisions the new government makes will affect you and your family...So please keep wishing yourself bad luck.... vision 2020 mumu....
acunon: A lot of people placed a bet on the fight of the decade and some luckily won their bets. Kcee's manager Soso took to Instagram to share a picture of his win and wrote, 'Finally the muller is here!! #themoneyteam #maypac Anything u call it gamble or betting I won.'
Be ready to produce the money when the "true owners" come knocking at your door in the middle of the night. Just know that you cannot use the standard excuse of "I don't keep cash at home"....
truefact: Awolowo never believed in anything that's why he died like nothing. He is coward. He has no choice of his. Zik bring him to nigeria, Gowon kept him in Nigeria even to this days.
Yorubas fight for your own country. ..Nigeria is not a country. ..
It is Yoruba cowardice and timidity that make them want Igbos to remain in Nigeria. Igbos give those cowards a kind of protection and cover from their masters up north. That is why if igbos secede now, yorubas will secede from their Hausa masters.
Yorubas fight for your own country. ..Nigeria is not a country. ..
Your hero committed suicide. Your hero is coward who never fight for your freedom. Your hero had no choice of his, remember Zik made him accept nigeria and Gowon made him stay in Nigeria. Your hero believed nothing and die like nothing. ..WHAT A BIG SHAME
You have just officially confirmed that MADNESS runs in your family...... The priests at Okija shrine are waiting for you.....
Mortiple: ... And Diya wept!!! Hahaha!!! Weeping General from a brave tribe!!
Don't forget that his kinsman, Bello Fadile also wept.
They made history by teaching the world how not to be a soldier.
At times I wonder why people like to display their stupidity and lack of common sense in a public forum. What does his tribe have to do with displaying lack of courage? At times I just wonder how some people reason.... Please don't convince your parents that they wasted funds by trying to get you educated......
Chai see insult. .... Dan O. is currently in deep discussions with his parents to confirm this grave accusation..... He will respond in due course. ...
As for me, I dey go see Baba to confirm if he invited David Mark..... that insult pain me for Dan. O. no be small....how can they say person Papa do quickie born im pikin. ....
DiamonJ: Why can't nija guys be romantic for once, no cuddle, no sucking, no hugging, kiss become wahala, i regret leaving my white for nija nonsense, i wish i had befrnd a nija guy before d white, aHhhhh na till dead do us part be that naw,
We like romance but by the time we think of all your expensive requests, house rent palaver, mechanic stress, LASTMA & police harassment, generator service and fuel queue.... How can we think of romance?? What we need is stress relief but una no go gree.... Na to dey fantasize Telemundo romance....
Ephemmm: Fashola banned them from Federal road and restricted them to local area, yet the resultant effect is using it as electioneering campaign against him. Will Ambode return them to FG road if he eventually win?
Nigeria sha....
NOTE: I am not here to say accident do not happen, but if these people were not on Okada, they might be safer: get the that drilled into your skull please.
I beg take time to read the caption very well... accident happened in Ondo and you are mentioning Fashola and Ambode??
And the looting begins. I wish Rivers State best of luck, Odili's looting will be child's play compared to what Wike will do to the state treasury ........... Wike needs to contact Ibori for best practices on how to avoid jail time....
Chai!!!!! Thank God that Buhari has not yet been sworn in.... I dey run go meet Jega to organise fresh elections. How come this information wasn't available before the elections. ....
Yeye post...... I don't know how some people just believe in their rubbish theories....
ollah1: I doubt this news. Visafone is rich itself. The owner is a rich man and he owns different companies. I don't see him selling of his biggest assets
My dear friend. ... Please don't venture into business as your post has displayed that you have egocentric tendencies. . The fact that the owner is rich has nothing to do with the potential sale of the company. If the offer is right, he will sell the company and move on. What stops him from using the money to set up some other business franchise? ??
tonytony208: Didn't you read it in the news about how Nigeria n government tried to get weapons from the US to no avail? And that was some months before the past 6 weeks.
Lame excuse, US is not the only country selling arms. ... Have you ever wondered where the militants were buying their weapons from?
What happened to China and Russia.... We suddenly discovered that they had weapons for sale on the eve of an election. ... Continue fooling yourselves. ..
Editor1: GEJ, go ahead and borrow any amount u want...
The S-south has given u the go-ahead. Afterall, wen its comes to repay the loans, its still the oil money from south dat is used....not the rotten onions from North! Its our money...we spend it as we wish.
Meanwhile its GEJ till we find a better replacement!
See how your parents waste strength and sperm born you...... You better refund all the funds that they have spent on you cause it is bad investment.......
EUROFIGHTERR: Very funny picture but i think you should place buhari there not Jonathan.
Let the truth be told.....
You don't see Buhari running to Mosques, Churches, Ogbono fraternity, Nollywood, Witches and Wizards association, professional ashawo association, jobless youths association aka OPC, MASSOB etc for endorsement....
That is the stock in trade of our president......
His vice Sambo, was the person inciting Muslims that the APC is a Christian party.....
I'm a Christian by birth and I appreciate the fact that Buhari had never faltered in his faith as a Muslim. He actually has the integrity to prove that he is a true Muslim.
Our dear president calls himself a Christian but his lifestyle and utterances do not reflect a Christ like life...... Corruption, inciting violence, extravagance living, associating with fraternities, having children through another woman that his not his wife......
So please let's move on to vote people on their character and stop sowing the foolish seed of religion.... As I always say only God knows who truly worships him in Spirit and in truth....
Initially i supported APC but carefully looked at their way of life i discover that they are old thieves trying to wear new clothes i decamped to PDP at least i know what they have done afterall Northerners have ruled for more than 30 yrs including Buhari but nothing drastically changed
AlfaSeltzer: This is talk of cowardice. Are you from south west?
What is cowardice in wishing peace? Have you ever been involved in armed conflict. Most people that make noise like you are the real cowards. This is not a south west, east or north issue. This is about the survival of the common man. Make no mistake people are fed up with the way our country is being run and will take up arms as the last option. However, I pray that it never comes to that.
uselessgoat: Your mumu Most High God wey dey look like mumu while many churches were been blown up. Your mumu God wey dey look like foool when the government are inflicting pains on the masses and looting your future and your children's.
That God must be really dumb or inexistence. Mumu religious slave
Your user name says it all.....
I pray that God will have mercy on you, if you do not repent you will live to see the new dawn of change in our country but will not live to taste the goodness of the land.
So an officer on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said, “Look, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, could this thing be?” And he said, “In fact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.” (II Kings 7:2 NKJV)
Now the king had appointed the officer on whose hand he leaned to have charge of the gate. But the people trampled him in the gate, and he died, just as the man of God had said, who spoke when the king came down to him. (II Kings 7:17 NKJV)
Then that officer had answered the man of God, and said, “Now look, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, could such a thing be?” And he had said, “In fact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.” And so it happened to him, for the people trampled him in the gate, and he died. (II Kings 7:19-20 NKJV)
Marchman: I saw this video on this website and watched. Shocked by allegations against Osinbajo, These guys are wicked. May God continue to expose them.
Riodiao: Pope Francis Commends Economy Under Jonathan’s Watch
Only few days ago, Vatican Radio released a letter by Pope Francis to Bishops in Nigeria to express his closeness to them in prayers as well as addressing issues surrounding the country Nigeria.
Pope Francis Commends Economy Under Jonathan’s Watch
Pope Francis
The 2nd paragraph of the letter, the pontiff spoke highly of the Nigerian economy which has grown to the largest in Africa in “recent years”, under Jonathan’s watch. Pope Francis wrote:
“NIGERIA, known as the “African giant”, with its more than 160 million inhabitants, is set to play a primary role, not only in Africa but in the world at large. In recent years, it has experienced robust growth in the economic sphere and has again reasserted itself on the world stage as an attractive market, on account of its natural resources as well as its commercial potential. It is now considered officially the single largest African economy. It has also distinguished itself as a political player widely committed to the resolution of crisis situations in the continent.”
The text of the letter has elicited reactions mostly favorable to the President Jonathan camp as they struggle to convince Nigerians of the Economic growth in the face of the APC’s heavy propaganda Machinery.
According to Wole Akinyeye “Can anyone take this from us? But it only happened under the watch of a VISIONARY LEADER-GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN! #GEJTill2019 is the demand of majority of NIGERIANS” Advertisement
Ms. Eleanya Onwuka “APC will soon claim President Goodluck Jonathan paid the Pope for his statement on Nigeria’s growth. APC is a party full of lies and deceptions as exposed by the Deputy Governor of Rivers State. God Bless Nigeria, God Bless President Goodluck Jonathan”
Another commenter Mr. Richard, he said “Good deed has a way of speaking for itself. Good luck Jonathan is working, it’s no fiction, the world at large is attesting to that fact. Vote him to do more!”
“Pope Francis also attest to the growth of the Nigerian economy. Whose report do you believe? Don’t let the APC propaganda agents deceive you.”
Timi Remi-Meindinyo also said “Never again are we allowing a confirmed NITWIT rule us again! To reverse all the gains we have painstakingly achieved under the able leadership of President GEJ. Never again. Thank you and God bless Pope Frances.”
exxell: Onye ochi.... In my own, Nigerians before you vote, remember that;
Northern Leaders destroyed this country for 38 years (Buhari inclusive) and Obasanjo destroyed it for 11 years. Totalling 49 years! GEJ has done in 5 years, what his collegues could not do in 49 years! GEJ 2019!
Finally, remember that Buhari has been trolling the country peacefully and went on his campaigns without any hitch. Anywhere he left, nobody used water to wash the road. He was respected as an official contender for the post of the presidency. Rewind back to last week. President Jonathan was in Daura, Kastina state and when he left, the youths and elders were washing the road as if an evil came to visit them. They spited the office of the presidency! Jonathan was stoned in Bauchi and Taraba state. Remember Stones not pure water! Even if you hate the president, remember that he is still representing a country not a street. For the fact that Jonathan is humble does not make him weak. All these while, I have always been skeptical of voting Jonathan again because he was too "gentle" for me. But I also know that Buhari is not a better option for Nigeria. My reasons are these;
#1 He is retarrded #2 He is a Muslim and an extremist for that one #3 He is too old to rule Nigeria in the 21st century... All these his packagings are hogwash by those who want to hijack Nigeria #4 He said that the full meaning of APC is All Progressive Confident #5 He has no certificate (Proven)... How can he rule Nigeria with so many professors around? #6 He called INEC the Independent Nigeria Electoral Commission #7 He is surrounded by crooks who wants nothing but their own selfish gains e.g Rochas Okorocha, Tinubu and Co, Amaechi #8 He said that the name of his VP is Yemi Osunbade . He may eventually call the American President "Barack Osama".. See Gobe! #9 He said that he will stabilise oil prices in the world ( Confirm Madness) #10 He just said two days ago that he will make the naira equal to dollars Who does this man take us for? Magas?
NIGERIANS, CAN'T YOU PEOPLE SEE THAT TINUBU, ROCHAS AND AMAECHI ARE PACKAGING THIS MAN TO JUST GET THERE? WHEN HE EVENTUALLY GETS THERE, THEY WILL NOW RULE THIS COUNTRY BY PROXY. FOR THE VERY FACT THAT THE TWO FOUNDING FATHERS OF CORRUPTION (OBASANJO AND TINUBU) ENDORSED BUHARI IS A CALAMITIOUS SIGNS OF VERY BAD THINGS THAT ARE COMING IN THE EVENTUALITY THAT BUHARI WI... TUFIAKWA! I CAN'T EVEN THINK IT TALK MORE OF SAY IT! GEJ TILL WHEN IT PLEASE MY CREATOR!
Please make sure you buy your medication for high blood pressure by Friday since most businesses will be closed this weekend. Your incumbent president will lose this election and nothing will happen. ..
theorbiters: Honestly, all these are just formalities. I can't imagine they are actually contesting against an incumbent president and think they stand a chance. Oh well, it is just a pity that all these would end up being a waste.
GEJ till our youth are ready to lead.
Did you take your prescribed medication this morning? I don't think so based on what you have written above. So no one should challenge the incumbent because it their right to lead forever.... I pray that PDP loses this elections to usher in a change in the political landscape of our Nation. .
It was James E Faust who said "In this life, we have to make many choices. Some are very important choices. Some are not. Many of our choices are between good and evil. The choices we make, however, determine to a large extent our happiness or our unhappiness, because we have to live with the consequences of our choices.
Propaganda will always crash when confronted with the Facts and like we will always say, Lies have expiry dates but the truth will Never expires, here are the two choices you will be presented with on saturday;
1. Saturdays election is a choice between Moving Forward and going backward Forward is voting PDP out and Backward is continuing with this same government. ..
2. This election is a choice between a 73 year old man that cannot remember the name of his running mate, his party or INEC and a 53 year old man that has midwived the transformation of critical Infrastructure in our Country We prefer a 73 year old man that has integrity than a 53 year old failed president. One that cannot cram expo and has to read it during a national debate.
3. This election is a clear choice between going Analogue and proceeding with digitalisation And barbaric Fayose is an example of digitalistion abi?
4. This is a choice between a Man who built the first speed rail in sub-Saharan Africa and another who cancelled it's first Metro project Speed rail You need to find out the amount of money spent on this glorified locomotive. .. and for your information this current government did not award the contract for the railway revival.
5. This election is a contest between a man who set up 12 brand New universities and a man who did not set up any as head of state Build 12 new universities, while existing ones rot away... What the nation needs is the revival of technical colleges and revamps of our current universities
6.This election is about a man who gave young people YOUWIN and Almajiri schools and another who celebrates them as weapons of electoral Terrorism and he allowed countless people to die till 6 weeks to a postponed elections to show he cares. His wife has already informed us that they don't care about people from that side
7. This Election is about a man who is on the verge of wiping out Polio and a man who does not believe in immunisation The success recorded in the fight against polio is due to Bill Gates foundation and not the Federal government, if the monies were left to the supervision of the FG... We would looking for PWC to audit the financial fraud.
8. This Election is a race between a Generation that superintended over the Decay of our Nation and a generation that must salvage it,
Corruption is the root cause of the Decay and the current government has stewarded the worst cases of corruption in our nations history
9.This election a clear fight between a confused cattle herder with a stagnant No of 150 cows after 12 years and a Man whose agricultural policies and programmes have cut our food import by 40% Please provide statistics on the reduction of food prices in Nigeria
10.This is election is between a Professor of Buharinomics who wants to stabilise the price of crude in the international Market / make =N= equivalent to $ 1 and a Man who under whose watch Nigeria became the biggest economy in Africa Biggest economy on paper without normalising the figure to reflect per capita income... Nigeria's budget is $50b for 170 million people...SA is $160b for 50 million people... who is fooling who??
This Election is a clear choice between Good and Evil
bigtt76: So sad ....no speeches, no representation by the politicians or well meaning Nigerians. She wasn't even mentioned on the so cherished Linda Ikeji blog, no mention in the ever buzzing Social Media, no trending hashtags ....layed alone in a wooden coffin knocked together in haste and buried not in a vault or wall-tiled grave ...therein lies Sarah Ibikunle - victim of a society ridden over the years by poor governance, greed and deception.
You may be unknown, dead and gone BUT you remain know to our Lord and Savior and Creator under whose bossom you will continue to live long ...longer than those who led to your short sourjourn on Earth. May God bless your soul and comfort your family. Amen.
Though your true story may never be told or heard ...it will inspire billions years to come! Rest on Sarah Ibikunke
Very touching..... We should also take time to remember the policemen that paid the ultimate price on that fateful day..... They will only be memories in the lives of their loved ones... How I wish we could lay our differences aside and speak with one voice against corruption and bad governance. Whether PDP, APC or APGA etc.... Politicians are all the same, they would not change until they learn to fear the power of our votes. I'm not a PDP supporter and I appreciate the views of those that support them, but I would love them to tell the president the truth. Even though they are going to vote for him, his government has performed below par. Why sing praises to people that don't appreciate the lives of the people they claim to serve.
Here lies the body of a young girl whom was just trying to get a better life. Going to school in the morning and selling fish in her spare time to support her family. She would still had to do homework and probably house chores. All the effort, time and finances her parents spent on her have gone to waste... I'm a parent and I can only imagine what her parents must be going through. I pray that God will comfort them for their loss.
Please let us stand up for the truth...... It could have been any of us on that fateful day.....
