jdhills:just go to cic website and search for upfront medicals...there is a form you need to download and fill. you will also see the approved medical institutions on the website...you can call them and book an appointment, they will tell you the cost and requirements. in lagos, child care practice in ikoyi is the cheapest 28k, but IOM ikeja is the fastest and most expensive 40k...then you submit it with your application. |

eastafro:dont think you should stop ur canada study permit application. ..Hepatitis B is treatable and easily treated if not sever...see a good doc get urself treated and continue with your application...dnt be scared of the Canadian medical examination, dnt develop high BP... check the website and see what test and examinations that will be done...not everybody dat gets a Canadian visa is healthy or free from disease...they are just particulate about some few which i think hepatitis B isnt included..goodluck |

voguemum: Good you are planning early, start now! firstly...go online and find a school with the course she wants to study..google will help, its very easy. the school website will direct u on how to apply.. once she has her o level result out she can apply and when admitted pay tuition fee...an average of 15k canadian dollar per semester (undergraduate)...depending on the course...then you can apply for a student visa which is the main work...then you can come for more info..because i am sure alot might have change before she is ready. |

adhel90: sorry for the little setback...You need to write a letter explaining alot of things ...like answering questions if you were having an interview....SOP/LOE . I got to understand it is a very important letter that will make whoever is processing you permit understand some not so obvious aspects of the documents u submited and also an avenue to connect your sponsor, course, education level, choice of school, reasons for a change in field, connect ur present job description to ur desire to study abroad...etc ,then make sure the school aspect of your application is well package, from tuition to ...then download the visa application check list for guidance...wish you the best. |

Lagos2canna: prayer without work is failure guaranteed...please dont just say that to someone that just said he/she didnt include one of the most important document as we all know...this is missleading! people get visa without even praying or fasting, as Christians yes we should put God first but that doesnt mean we should keep doing thesame thing again wen we can do better... 1 Like |

MISFITrep: dnt think so, as long as the source is genuine, known. and obvious to them. i made CAD50k available in my own account from my sponsor who is my bro...i made reference of it in my letter and my sponsor's letter also..you know all we can do it try guess how these VOs think..the truth is that we can never really know, from my own observations and personal experience i feel they know some of us just go about meeting people with good account balance to be our sponsors...but i feel it will convince them more if we show our sponsor's commitment and readiness to get involve financially by the sponsor putting some good some of cash in our account...they know its possible the money can be withdrawn soon after we get the visa...but that shows sponsor's trust, commitment and personal relationship which is far better than affidavit because what will affidavit do wen u are already there and u become a liability to them...then sponsor's monthly income (payslip) very necessary. |

Deedyvn:put some good monet in your own account wen applying next time...mame it comes from your uncle's accout if possible highlight it on both SOA...and try show a form of educational support-relationship especially on your uncles sponsor letter...As for home ties i never knew such until i came here...but i know i tried to show commitments to some certain projects and my dad's company....so prepare a very well detailed Statement of intent not necessary very long one...mine was barely a page these guys dnt have patience to red a novel..be precise and just make your letter explain and collaborate all ur documents and objective as a student..wish u the best.. |

Just giving heads up on a very fast application approval...my cousin's application, submitted online application October 9th, biometrics 12th, passport request 19th...undergraduate though...and he wasnt sure because mine took about 3months.so its never too late to get a TRV...dnt compare your application with someone else's own, for those expecting an approval lateness is not denial, be positive and steadfast in your prayers!...wish you guys the best! 5 Likes |

kemmyk: you need to be sure the school is a DLI go to cic website and search for DLI,because most schools dnt give deadline to pay fees and then be sure of the session u are defering to...to the best of my knowledge you can defer to d next session just once without paying tuition fees...u using an agent? |

sorry about this...i think you should review ur application again, not necessarily because there was a mistake or like it wasnt well package but because its the first stage in re-doing any failed process. Then i dnt believe these Visa officers work on their own discretion there must be certain criteria for them to make a decision on applications though some might take theirs unnecessarily too serious,i feel like they do with the PR applications, they try to control the number of people they issue visa to, so alot of scrutiny will be done...and i noticed most of us here have entirely different application status(age, travel history, marital status..etc)...so we cant score or rate someone's application with another...so reapply with a renewed positive mindset, not the mindset of just one last application before u take them to court, thats like expecting another setback.. work with ur religious faith...i came to NL saw alot of new things i didn't put in my application... my sop was barely a page...graduated since 2011, didnt know of anything like family ties... my application was "not well packaged"..but got my visa.. wish u the best ! [qquote author=Dwebb55 post=71973521]Dear house, I finally received a response from CIC. However, I was delayed and will soon go about reapplying. This application was my first and I believe it was well packaged as I am an avid reader of the thread and I also used a top immigration lawyer based in Canada and I have an unblemished travel history. Submitted online on 1st of June. Biometrics was done on the 7th. I sent several CSE's and got a denial yesterday. I applied for a course in a trade as I recently started a business in that trade and needed further education to boost and improve my business. The trade isn't taught in the Universities which is why I had to apply to a college. Deny was adduced to purpose of study but will be applying for my gcms shortly to get a specific reason. Contributions will be welcome to get this sorted. Also thinking of a judicial review but yet to decide on if this will be a better option. Opinions are welcome and I look forward to being successful in a trade that I believe will enhance me personally and my society at large.[/quote] 3 Likes |

No need taking things personal with someone's question here...to the extent of wondering wat he/she will do wen they get to canada, that's absurd!...people are different, some assimilated faster dan others, some always want direct confirmation, we understand and see things differently. "its better to ask a foolish question to know a thing than to be silent and fail "..because you have more knowledge abt something dnt give u the right to criticize a novice questions. ignore if you dnt want to answer since the question is beyound you! Wishing all the visa applicants a successful week! 10 Likes 2 Shares |
