Bro be careful with all these mechanics and technicians. They will chop you dry with stories once they notice that you are a novice and anxious to fix every little thing. Do not be surprised that all these issues from speedometer not functioning and others are just fuse cut. For your gearbox not selecting properly, it may be caused by faulty speed sensor or a bridge along the wiring and those issues are easy and cheap to fix if you have a sincere technician. You need to do a scan otherwise na so them go chop you wella. |
It is not news when dog bites human but a very big news when human bites dog. Many of these artisans and technicians do the worst. When they collect about 90% of their money, they abandon the job (especially if you are not on ground to monitor them) and you won't see them again and you end up spending extra money to complete the job by engaging another artisan. It is a terrible experience. Anyways two wrongs cannot make a right. He would have exercised some patience perhaps the person has some challenges and reach out to some people to intervene rather than destroying the POP. Some wicked people go dig am out with him. Him no try at all. Na him handwork him dey destroy so. |
Scam. How can a barrel of crude oil give out 170 litres of PMS and other derivatives when a barrel contains approximately 159 litres, na miracle be that nah . I don't know what these people take Nigerians for. Let them kwantinue, e go burst one day. |
3-4 hours praying? Praying for what actually? Time that you supposed to use for something meaningful and productive, you spent praying, repeating the same thing all over again and again. Too bad if I may say. Do you earn anything from praying alone or after the prayers, you go about in commuter buses asking people who are working to earn their living to donate and support your ministry. I weep for Nigerians. |
Dowry is not paid in Nigeria rather it is bride price. Even before that during courtship, they deed is done to be sure that everything is working perfectly well to avoid the story that touches afterwards because once the marriage ceremony is done, no turning back. It is no longer like second hand clothes in a bail which one only opens after payment dawnomike: |
Umuoji Igwulube Okodu on the news. Congratulations to the worthy son of Igwulube Okodu. More power to his elbows. |
Shifting the responsibility of the state to the citizens. Amumaigwe: |
Any party thrown during funerals is not for the dead but for the living . Lots of people benefit from such lavish parties viz event planners, musicians, printers, and lots more. People who are empowered through burial activities will pay tax from the profits made and that will contribute to the IGR of the state. Stopping such activities means no revenue for the people and no tax at the end. Burials should not be pegged. It should be per one's choice and capacity. You do not tell a man who has money to spend how to spend it. Let him concentrate more on how to improve the economy and less on these distractions. There are a lot to be done in Anambra other than quarreling over expensive burial parties. SmartPolician: |
Please Nairalanders, how much for Toyota Corolla 2008 Model Belgium ECU. |
It was the same Arthur who said that it is only Buhari that will hand over power to an Igbo man and specifically mentioned Dave Umahi. Today he singing another tune. LeoDeKing: |
He is a liberal, scientific and accommodating king who believes in peaceful resolution of land boundary matters between neighbouring communities. Long live Igwe Achebe, long live Onicha ado n'idu, long live Anambra state, long live Nigeria. IreneChidi: |
That is not the road being reconstructed. The one they are talking about is an internal road in Aba and not the Federal road that is from PH to Enugu. That federal road is something else and I wonder how motors plying that road everyday survive. Kenmatt: |
This is co-habitation and not marriage. There is no mention of court marriage, neither was bride price paid which is the symbol of customary marriage. So they were just living as boyfriend and girlfriend, co-habiting and producing children if at all the man is really the man giving the woman belle. What if DNA test says that the man is not the biological father? The court in the first place has no right to entertain the matter because there was no evidence that a marriage took place. If another woman comes out from nowhere and tells the man that her child is his, will he just accept it just like that? Don't be surprised that paternity test on those children will prove that man wrong. Na their wahala sha. Islie: |

Please where can I find Lexus RX330 engine number? The police is disturbing me about that as my vehicle particulars do not have the engine number on them. |
Please has anyone information on the CMRIS (Central Motor Registry Information System) newly introduced by the Nigerian Police. Is it one off registration or renewable every year. I just learnt about it today when policemen at a check point asked me to produce it after going through my papers and all were intact. They declined explanation how it works or when it was introduced. |
I have tried doing that but not working yet. Seems they have not started though. |
You mean that the people who designed the academic calender are stupid. The children need rest as well as the teachers. Overloading their little brain is not right. During our own time, long vacation was used to travel to the city for holidays for those in the rural areas and for those in the cities, it is time for them to travel to their villages for holiday as well. It is also time to help the parents at home and do some other extra curricular activities. During our time we never had holiday lessons neither did we have after school lessons yet many excelled in their chosen field, so what had changed? Even after school lesson is not necessary if the teachers know what they are doing. They use the school official hours to do their private business and charge students fees for after school lessons to teach what they should have taught them during school hours. Teachers please allow the students breath!!!! Jewessgratitud3: |
Audio road construction. If you like go to Delta state and snap their road, we dey ground zero and know what is happening. No such road in Anambra. He can't maintain Nkpor/Nnobi road, Owerri road is no go area not to talk of constructing 16km road. No motorable road inside Onitsha and Nnewi the commercial cities that generate billions of naira through IGR in Anambra state. Going through Nnewi the other day I sighted Willie is working billboard along the dilapidated and highly unmotorable Nnewi-Ozubulu-Ihembosi road. |
If it is on 24 hourly counting that is when it becomes 00:03 am and 00:06 am. In this case it is on 12 hourly counting so 12:03 am 12:06 am stands to be correct. Therefore the closest time to midnight is 12:06 am. descarado: |
But there is no 11:55 PM rather it is 11:55 AM. For me the answer is 12:06 AM Fuckyoumod: |

I recently changed my Corolla auto gearbox and I am noticing that whenever I engage the gear on reverse the car vibrates and makes cracking noise. Please what is the issue and how can it be rectified? Thanks in anticipation of a solution from the experts. |
seunmsg:Must we always use tribal sentiments on every issue. We all know that it is a common thing to wrap books with old posters or calendars, even magazines and newspapers to protect the book from tearing. What of a situation where the old poster used is a religious one like the picture of Jesus Christ or Mohammed, I hope you won't say otherwise. Let's deal with the issue on ground on its merit not bringing in ethnicity into it. Unless we see ourselves as Nigeria without looking at issues from tribal perspective, this country may not progress. Come to think of it does that name sound like an easterner? Obidient movement cut across all ethnic groups and not one particular ethnic group. Okay did you check the comment by the Principal? What do you make of it. The principal would have corrected the student and warned her not to repeat it again which is the usual process before suspension. The principal did not try at all. He or she did not act as a trained teacher or school administrator, his or her certificate and employment is questionable and should be scrutinized. Trained teachers do not act this way. |

Emempaul:Na so some people as tenants go dey claim right until they become landlord before they understand say no be so e be . We like free thing no be today. |
Geesaintagape:I blame the govt for not providing the water. Where water is provided either by the govt or a company, the users pay bill per their consumption. Because it is given to them free of charge by the landlord, tenants see it as their right to misuse the water. Where the landlord stays in the same compound as the tenants, he pays the bill for pumping the water, uses his generator when there is no light and no tenant ever contributes to buy fuel. Naija we too like free things. Go to where govt provides water and see how much tenants pay for water every month. In Douala Cameroon, my friend pays as much as N6,000.00 depending on his consumption every month as water utility bill. If you fail to pay, they will come and disconnect the pipe that supplies water to your flat. How I wish every landlord will incorporate flowmeters in their houses and collect water bills at the end of the month, then tenants will be careful (not all tenants are careless but majority are) on how they use or waste water. God help landlords. If I were the landlord, I go just leave them, by the time they buy water for one month them go humble and think of how to either repair or replace it. Na so one come dey wait for landlord to replace him prepaid meter, landlord no just listen to him. Nobody tell am to go repair the meter after staying in darkness and heat and burning of fuel for some months. |
Sammy07:Utility bills are not part of house rent. If the govt were to provide water to every house as is done in some countries, the tenant pays the water bill same as electricity bills and not the landlord. So long as they are not paying any water bill to the landlord, the tenants bear the cost of repairing or replacing the pumping machine. Who replaces a faulty kitchen sink tap in the house, the landlord or the tenant. Now if the NEPA meter spoils, who is responsible for its repair or replacement, is it NEPA, landlord or the tenant? I think it is high time landlords started installing flowmeter (just like electricity prepaid meter) in the their houses and start collecting water bills from tenants according to their consumption, then he will be responsible for repairing or replacing bad pumping machine. Until that is done some tenants will not stop wasting water or been careless. Before the introduction of prepaid meters, some tenants never paid electric bills once, the settle the corrupt power holding company staff whenever they come thereby incurring huge debt which they leave behind when they pack out. very unfair. |
