According to Buhari speech, "all existing old N1000 and N500 remain redeemable at the CBN and designated points" till April 10.

Meaning, it can still be in circulation until April 10. The only difference is that the N200 note will be released back into circulation even if deposited at the bank while the N500 and N1000 notes will not be released back into circulation after been deposited in the CBN or designated points.

It's a win win for the masses.
