To diverge a little, just saw the mother of Dragons scene (this is like the 1001th time) in episode 6 of the current season and I still wonder why folks here termed that scene boring. Could it be I'm being swayed by all the boobs scene Khalessi has been feeding me with cause that scene is just wow |

It's official, Majority of Nigerians are either illiterates or do not read. The article clearly states the husband of the deceased confirmed the late wife was beaten to death not beheaded and some ijiots are still ranting like castrated bulls. It still doesn't justify the act though and I hope all the people involved are given the death penalty. |

My step mom was never like that, if not for her I would have grown into a spoilt brat. Although she wasn't totally perfect but I was never maltreated and some of the lessons she instilled have been very helpful. RIP Mrs A3 |

IHate9ja1: yea courage,Ymodulus on NL said the same thing ,you need ideas, funds and courage. Robert kiyosaki inspired me to forge ahead i had the ideas,i had a little cash lying around but i lacked the courage but a book titled "conspiracy of the rich" dispel my fears. Its a agriculture investment too. Start small then grow.... Everything is timing and patience, its a decision you have to make, i dont even have good wears nor use the latest phone in town not because i cant afford it but honestly i have choosed to walk the path to financial freedom and this is part of the sacrifice i had to make. Men! You are stoking my fire right now. Can I've a range of your little cash? The agric investment you mentioned is it the same tomatoes 'heist' Ymodulus did? Will check out the book, you mentioned, can I've the name of the author |

VcStunner: I will like to work in a Petrochemical firm, currently in my mind is INDORAMA Eleme. I believe with the situation of things in the country and the need for diversification into agriculture, more attention should be paid in researching on more effective pesticides and soil enrichment additives etc. My love for chemistry is infinite. But here I am in an electronics shop selling TV with 2.1 B.tech Industrial Chemistry!.... it is well Lolllllll Don't ever give up, don't ever lose sight of the bigger picture you have in mind |

IHate9ja1: why dont you start now? I believe you are referring to the agribiz part? 1) I believe in serving/following before leading hence why I want to be an employee before becoming an employer 2) I want to have a feel of the experience these financial services company offer, it's a kind of obsession for me. 3) Finance is also another thing, so working now ensures I can pull the required resources together and also spend the time between now and when I want to start to understudy successful farm businesses 4) Another is I currently lack the courage to let it happen now. |

1) Any of the big four but I've strong preference for KPMG
2) Vetiva Capital
3) Chapel Hill Denham
4) Renaissance Capital
I just need about 10-15 years with these guys before I diverge into Agribiz |

Going by some of the threads I've seen on nairaland, post utme has to stay. It's on nairaland one ijiot came here to rant that he is sure his script was marked wrongfully as his teachers wrote the exams for him, it's on nairaland that I saw threads like NECO Geography answers, WAEC Mathematics Objective. Yes, I know it's difficult for most people to come up with the cash for the exams plus when you factor in the stress of travelling but there is the need to encourage the culture of excellence. |

Quakertellicus1: So in other words.....you are saying that Local governments and states, and development authorities are all redundant and we should run everything from Abuja?
That is why I don't get you Nigerians sometimes. One minute you are calling for more devolution, the next you are asking Abuja to come and babysit you.
Sorry.....but good grief.
That is how some people were castigating Buhari for not building hotels in Daura....and GEJ for not providing portable water for Otuoke....forgetting that there are states and LGA's . What are they there for? Should we abolish the states and regions...and just run everything from Abuja? Please don't misinterpret me, I'm not saying Abuja should run all the show, I said 'she should not be comfortable with just setting up agencies alone as regards ND affairs' there is the need to monitor how cash disbursed is being used. Take it or leave it, ND is one of the most volatile places in Nigeria and the region at present happens to hold our major source of income. So there is the need to pamper them at least up to the point where we have either diversified and oil is no longer our major source of forex or the region has been transformed into something that bears a close semblance with civilization. Hence the part where I said, FG needs to show she cares. |
