We can blame the police for doing what ever it takes to clean up the system, but let's look at it from another angle. The Girl or woman may not be the thief but she had information leading to the arrest of the original thief but choose to suffer for the thief before doing the needed. The police cannot work effectively without our support. If we want them to work effectively we should give them all we know about the case on ground. The woman knew that the neighbor gave his wife Ipad the day before and that the case was all about ipad. Why did she not tell the police all she knows about ipad in that compound. Having said that, I blame the woman for what happened to her. M4gunners: And the girl in question is just what please? |

OBJ! OBJ!! OBJ!!! If there should be any arrest, it will start with you. I know you are trying to buy your freedom in case Buhari wins. Guess what. It will not work. By the way, you said the last time that you will not disturb our peace until after the election. Why this now, or has Tinubu given you some substance to take. |

Don't be too fast in throwing blame at your president. Instead Ask your self if that is the colour of flames or is it possible that the blood of those people killed will be visible to the satellite? You can do your checks on google earth and tell me where in Baga that has blue roofs. Must of the house here has blue roof. PassingShot: We don't yet have a C-in-C in Nigeria. What we have now is a Comedian in Chief.
Not until that changes, we will not have peace in NE as well as Nigeria as a whole.
The Nigerian Army (and GEJ of course) have failed to protect the integrity and sovereignty of the country. This is enough reason for GEJ to be kicked out for if he is not sent home, we all might as well be in the same shoe as the NE/NW in the next one year.
In GMB I trust to end this terrorism. |

Maybe he doesn't need certificate to rule your village but Nigerian electoral act says that for a person to be qualified to run for presidency of the federal republic of Nigeria, He must be a Nigerian, He must be registered or supported by a political party, And He must have a minimum of School cert. My brother that is the requirement to contest. If He doesn't meet the requirement, He should step aside. KenSaroWiwa: Buhari doesn't need a certificate to rule us. What we want is proactiveness and good leadership not a piece of paper. Vote for change Nigerians. Vote Buhari/Osinbanjo. |

The prerequisite for vieing for the post of a president is wassce( it even too low for a country like Nigeria) He should keep his masters and doctorate degree...let buhari show us his school cert. PassingShot: Are his academic records in doubt? No.
Did he attend the colleges including the NDA, the US War College and the Indian military training college or not? Yes he did.
Are the certificates from those institutions higher than that of SSCE or not? Yes they are.
So what is the fuss about? |

You want me to go to the Nigerian Military Board to get your certificate for the job you applied for. I the interviewer says to hell with you. No certificate No job.......Thats all. donphilopus: You guys just spew whatever comes to your minds.
The same way Stella Odua honourably resigned during the BMW saga or MSc sage?!
The same way Abba Moro(n) resigned after the sham immigration exercise?!
Or the way Jonathan resigned after his Government watched over the abduction of over 274 Chibok Girls?!
If it were in advance countries, Jonathan would not seek a re-election after failing us as a Nation.
BTW, where was it stated the Buhari doesn't have a certificate?! Go to the Nigerian Military Board, confirm from them to know whether he has any copy with them. Be it original or photocopy.
All these things you guys are spewing won't save Jonathan come February 14th. We'll angrily, massively and unanimously vote him out! |
Politics › Re: Channels TV Terminates Pastor Bakare’s Broadcast Over Alleged Critical Comment by Agwaso: 6:31am On Jan 05, 2015 |
Then he should tell Buhari to show us his FSLC and his WASSCE. It is not business as usual, Nigerians are wiser now. Unless he is only seeing with one side of his eyes. Abok1: Not the case...he's simply stating the obvious
When our Nelipot President places himself in a precarious situation, anyone who wants the progress of this nation would call him to order, unlike his ventripotent praise singers. Someone who should be the custodian of our sovereignty as a nation is seen fanning the embers of ethnic and religious bigotry, forgetting that you cannot continue to fool everyone for so long.
From a religious perspective, Prophet Nathan Rebuked David when he sinned, i guess he should have stayed out of politics, and the politician shouldn't stay out of churches when they need votes I guess. If the polity is messed up and there's chaos in the land, would the church hold services? Joseph was a prime minister in Egypt, David was a musician to King Saul, Esther was married to the Persian King Ahasuerus, Daniel served King Nebuchadnezzar, showing that when the church distances itself from politics then they have no right to complain when policies goes against their beliefs, in-fact being involved with politics means influencing decisions, hence it was easier for the children to be freed from Egypt by Moses who grew up as a prince/general as a result of which he understood the inner workings of the Egyptian dynasty.
It is only a selfish individual that would want us to maintain the status quo, and if GMB messes up, we vote him out too. |

He should atleast show us his FSLC and WASSCE. Is that too much to ask. It is either he is an illitrate or he is mocking the Nigerians. If he is a comedian please tell him to wake up that election is 6 weeks away else he will be left behind. pendy79: None of his training were self sponsored. They were professional training organised N paid for by the Nigeria Army with tax payers money.
To even bring the issue as a campaign topic smack of ignorance and stupidity by PDP. When all the trainings he attended were entirely for his command and staff duties as a soldier.
When the PDP has nothing to campaign with after 16years of bein in charge rather than this kind of dull gist then the citizenry should be worried.
A good party that have stay for 16years should be telling the populace what it has done over the years and why those development needs to be continued if it believe it has done creditably well. |
Politics › Deplorable State Of Interlocked Roads In Lagos by Agwaso(op): 12:54am On Jul 25, 2014 |
Scores of interlocked roads contructed by Lagos state Government recently are either bumpy on in a state of dis-repair. People may link the state of the road to unbalanced and unconsolidated soil structure. Nevertheless, when you look at the state of roads around oniru estate and Lekki phase 1 vis-a-vis AJose Adegun that was constructed by Zenith Bank over 6 yrs ago, I come to a conclusion that Fashola needs to use the right people for such projects. If Zenith bank why can Fashola. V.I. has the same soil structure as lekki. |

Driving on Fashola's interlock roads is very bumpy. One might link the deplorable state of the roads to the soil structure of Lekki - V.I. Axis. My opinion is that Fashola needs help. He needs to use the right people to do quality job. Ajose Adeogun Street, V.I. Was constructed over five years ago and the road is still smooth if Zenith bank can do quality road construction, why can Fashola same? |

[quote author=tensor77]Daft argument. Nigeria does not need any national conference as the sovereignty and unity of Nigeria is non-negotiable. What we do need is good governance particularly at the state and local level. Another talkshop won't bring that to pass so why waste valuable resources. There is nothing whatsoever wrong with the constitution or the existing federal framework. We just need competent leadership at all levels of Government and society.[/quote. Why do you think that our unity is non negotiable. Is it OK to coexist with a group of people thats kill other tribes at will because the President is not from their rejourn. Have you wondered why government parastals employs new graduates by state of origin and not by merit. Is it not to keep the country united? Because every states has to produce candidates even if the person is a bblockhead. Thereby flocking the ministries with unqualified candidites. I may be wrong, but in my opinion I think Nigeria is a failed state and should be broken into as many regions that can live together freely without killing other tribes. |

You could also use the cut off marks for nation common entrance per state to guide you on illitracy level. Is it not supprising to know that some northern states has cut off mark of 2. On the Judgement of who the real thief is, I will leave that to the people of each states to judge. If Akpabio is a thief then Amaechi is a biger thief. The level of development and achievement in the two states speaks for itself. Please don't get me wrong, in my opinion he may be a thief but the question is why would pot call kettle black. |
