It's getting to be a vicious cycle with this Jon Snow issue.. Today I absolutely believe he is dead, then tomorrow I read something that makes me think he'll be back... But yesterday I thought for sure he can't be gone... Lol I hate the writers for leaving this ambiguous cliffhanger.

So when I saw this I had a sliver of hope...
An interviewer asks Kit Harrington that if he isn't going to be in season 6...why did his contract last year show he's one of the cast receiving a raise for season 6 with option of a season seven??

Lol.. I think they WANT us to believe Jon is dead for now. It makes the stabbing more authentic and the pain of his death more heart-rending.

So they wanted the effect much like how we felt when we knew Robb Stark, his mother, wife and child were killed at the Red Wedding. So the surprise of seeing Jon in the next season with be extra special...

OK ok I'm grasping at straws here but still... Read the article for yourself and decide. I'm done with guesswork. I'll just wait out the one year and discover if there are any more heroic type characters to root for. The imp Tyrion bores me, Mother of Dragons bores me, so does Arya and Cersei and EVERYONE ELSE ON THE SHOW except Jon Snow and he's gone boo hoo...

Even though I was expecting Jon's exit (thanks to the books) I thought he still had more time thanks to him being such a well loved character. But they needed a big 'kill' to justify season 5 and they chose Jon as the scape goat

Sam Tarly would have been so dead. They'd have used him for target practice lol they'd definitely have killed him if he was there. It's normal to kill off the supporter(s) of an enemy to avoid repercussions or loose ends.

I'm still hoping they bring Jon back because seriously we have a lot of questions we need to ask about his character. Who was his mother and real father if not Ned Stark? Why was Melisandre so interested in him etc

Until some youths form Robin Hood and start killing politicians on sight... Before this country will sit up and change.

I'm not condoning what happened to Myrcella. I said before that this was the most shocking scene for me of the whole episode.

What I meant was that Cersei would suffer more after learning of her daughter's murder than the suffering from the walk of atonement. As such, she's receiving far more 'punishment' from a death of another child than when she was being shamed.

I pity Myrcella not Cersei, as she deserves everything she gets after causing the death of so many, from day one of the series.

Theory About Melisandre

She didn't give false information. She will see the Bolton banners burn and she will walk the battlements at Winterfell. But it won't be Stannis that leads her there. It will be Jon Snow. His watch would end only with his death. And he's sure as Bleep dead now! Nothing in the Night's Watch vows saythe vows carry over after resurrection though.

I like this theory. A lot. If only...

They shouldn't have made Jon Snow such a massive character if they knew they would kill him off so soon. They waited till the last episode to do it... Cowards

Well the author of the books George RR Martin doesn't seem fazed by the fact no one's happy that we know nothing about Jon's fate. Dead or not? Even the book readers don't know. So unless the producers decide to change the future book plot, then... This just might be the last we see of the Bastard of Winterfell...

I recall someone on here telling me Jon had a dream of him being a warg in season 1, but I can't recall that scene if it happened.

Looks like all Ned Stark's kids are wargs or so I read somewhere. Only, Bran seems the one who's really gifted at it. But Jon Snow definitely didn't warg in the finale. Or in the book version of that scene either.

Lol. I'd still watch, resurrection or not. I want to see Cersei's comeback, I've finally taken pity on her and her sufferings, that walk was too bad, I wouldn't do that to my enemy. And Sansa, my poor Sansa. She should just forget the north and Winterfell. Go some where far away from Westeros and start a new life as a seamstress or something. There is nothing she will do in Winterfell that can undo the hell she has gone through, killing Ramsay wouldn't help her at all.

I will be rooting for LF and whatever plan he has now, let him take the north till the white walkers come and destroy everyone. That would work well for me.

The Dothraki should keep Deanerys, let them take her back to their place. Tyrion should rule Mereen till the white walker invasion reaches that land and ends all civilisation then the series can end.

But you're right about that walk of atonement. It was undue cruelty... I mean come on, so many women are guilty of all those crimes, even those women in the crowd throwing stones... How many tons of fornicators and adulterers there? Why single out Cersei?? In the book it looked cool... But on screen it was too graphic and unnecessary for me to truly appreciate it.

I finally got to see the finale and damn. Should have been called the "H o l y S h i t!!!" episode and not Mother of Mercy.

Glad some of my predictions came through...esp. with Reek turning "Heroeek"....I mean heroic and saving Sansa. My most awesome scene was when I saw what happened to Cersei's daughter. Stannis was a shock. I can't even. Speechless. Again, my prediction was correct - it wasn't worth it what he did to his fam.

So I'm left wondering if this is the end for Jon Snow...man that was brutal of the Watch men. Everything is going downhill in the Realm...a queen is getting publicly shamed (something that would NEVER have happened in Joffrey's time or Tywin's time) and Night's Watch are killing their commander within the Wall. Freaking crazy s h i t!!!


It was a nice finale. Not awesome, just nice. No battle, which was a disappointment. Possibly the most underwhelming finale everrr. Thanks guys, this was fun

I think some more episodes are available "on demand"... Its a kind of service you can watch 3 or so more episodes before they air, that is if you can't wait. But it will be only available to those in the requisite country (I'm thinking US/UK).

After enjoy HD for so long I don't think I can ever watch poor quality vids. It's like punishment so I'd rather forget it.
