BOF dey where e dey jor it's been on my PC for months it's not running anywhere lol. Couldn't catch up as planned. Instead watched Secretly Greatly and some US drama series.

Funny how watching people speaking English feels weird now while watching Koreans in Kdramas feels so natural lmaooo

No clue really. Will have to recheck the ending of the last episode when I can. Basically speed watched the last episode cos it was so

So basically blocked out the whole of episode 24

Also, since it's volunteers who help with subtitling the dramas in English (and not the networks of the drama) these vlounteers don't really bother with subbing the end where the future upcoming dramas are advertised. Neither do they sub the upcoming episode previews, also at the end.

Imagine being a Kdrama fan like you and me, and taking precious time to sub drama episodes as soon as they come out. This is done for free 100% of the time. Just so non-Korean viewers like us can enjoy the English-subbed episodes on time. So let's show more gratitude for their efforts ^_^

It's OK that's Love - Best Actor - Zo In sung was good. He deserves the win. Best New Actor - Do Kyung soo - wow he was good too. Awesome acting for a kpop star

Pinocchio - Best actress - Park Shin ye acted great, if you take the kisses out of the equation. She moved me during her emotional scenes. Hating aside I will root for her to win this category

Not yet seen the other dramas nominated but for the two I've checked out, the actors are definitely deserving of their nominations.

Thorn Love didn't quite catch my fancy.
My best chaebol prince ever is Gu Jun Pyo from BOF. He totally rocked!

I didn't know one could consider that babyfaced flower boy as a chaebol prince Wasn't he in High school?? I definitely have to watch it and decide if he will make the prospective list.


I do know he wore a lot of suits. Which will be one of my criteria for a Chaebol Prince in the article


He must wear a lot of snazzy suits

like Hyun Bin, Jang Hyuk and So Ji Sub did (gosh some of the colors and fashions were crazy but cool)

One guy that will possibly get two mentions is Hyun Bin because of his role in Jekyll Hyde Me (though he was just a director, not a CEO. So maybe that doesn't count)

I wonder if I can add Joo Sang Wook from Cunning Single Lady? Not sure because I haven't finished it. Will he be able to meet my other criteria, such as

Wow! Thorn Love was the one I really didn't like, I didn't even bother downloading it.
Secret, Princess' Man are great dramas with greater OSTs.
I'll check out Shine or go Crazy OST soon.

How can?? You didn't like Thorn Love!!? That song always made my day when I was following that drama. Very uplifting each episode when they played it. Made me want to go right to the next episode and the next.

I've never really tried listening to an OST without watching the drama. Not sure I'll be able to relate to the songs without the scenes and the drama couple that goes with those theme songs. But if that works for you then go on ahead!!


I truly adore the Shine or Go Crazy OST as well as the one from Hyde Jekyll Me (songs by Kim Bum Soo, JRabbit , Snuper etc were awesome!!!)


Another throwback ost is from It's OK That's Love. Un-freaking-forgettable.

I think Gong Hyo Jin has really been lucky with her dramas (at least those I've seen)

- Awesome OSTs (how come she has such great OSTs with her dramas!? I'm jealous)

I'm hoping to do a post on all the chaebol romance dramas I've seen (Fated to Love you, Secret Garden, Master's Sun) and pick my best/fave. Still going to watch others first though (such as Greatest Love with Cha Seung Won. MMMMmm so looking forward to that)


But on a scale of 1 to 10, for now my best chaebol prince is So Ji Sub. He killed it in Master's Sun. Second would be Secret Garden's Hyun Bin. And so on etc.

Any suggestions for chaebol princes who rocked for you guys?

- Healer: I can't pick a favourite, love all of 'em.

- Empress Ki: Just Once by Soyou, I Love You by Xia Junsu and To the Butterfly by Wookie.

- Secret: Tears Stole the Heart by Ailee, and Height of the Windstorm by Ji Sung.

- The Princess' Man: I'm Loving you Today by Baek Ji Young.

Empress Ki - The song I really really liked was the very catchy theme song at the end, Thorn Love by 4Men. Ugh can never forget!!!

------- My own most current drama OST recommendation is you guys should pleeeease watch Shine or Go Crazy just for the OST my gosh!!! I have the whole set in a Youtube-made video that plays the entire list of songs. It's unforgettable and can steal your breath.

YESSS! That song from Gu Family Book, "here's a song for the things forgotten, a song for all you wantid (lmao the singer's intonation is soo funny but I TRULY loved this song. My first ever OST song that I just had to go and download/own. Gu Family Book was my Korean Drama #2 that I watched. #1 was Arang and the Magistrate. Aaah, that memorable time I bought my first 10 Kdrama series....LMAO


I love ALL the Healer's songs. Unfortunately when the main actor sings in the OST I'm not always impressed with the song ie when Lee Min Ho, Seung Gi, Park Shin Ye and Ji Chang Wook sing in their respective dramas, the songs are so-so to me.

I need to watch more dramas to discover other great soundtracks, but the theme songs from the following dramas really impressed me and the singers above have one or two hits there.

- Arang and the Magistrate

- Master's Sun (omg the song Touch Love by Yoon Mi Rae...goose bumps!)

- Heirs (can never forget Love is Feeling and "Moment" )

- Healer ost (the bomb)

- Pinocchio (lost taste in the drama but loved the OST! Very hip and fresh)

- Birth of a Beauty (very upbeat and cool)

And so many more. I'd love to know any of you guys' fave OSTs and i'll try to find time to watch the dramas of those OSTs.

I'm talking about OSTs they sang not their regular kpop songs. Jaejoong sang for Sk Scandal, Protect the Boss and Dr. Jin, Junsu sang for Innocent Man and Empress Ki.

Once I start a drama, I always try to finish it. Except if the drama is I Miss You or Blade Man, lol.

Yeee Blade Man so many folks had the same problem with the drama...dropping it like it's hot before the finale...


Sure, I know some of these kpop stars make successful OSTs. Though there are some seasoned non-kpop singers who are popularly picked for singing those theme songs. I'll try to find out about them because some really stick in my mind.

Never heard their music. To say the truth, most of the kpop songs I've heard are forgettable. The only ones that stick in my head are the awesome OST songs.

Yes, it's a family drama. Famliy dramas are fun, except they're long -about 50 episodes and you spend like 5 to 6 months watching them. Lol

If it's good then of course 5-6 months is OK. I just wish I had time to watch all the good dramas out there. Instead, I have to select those that really get to my head and I can't get them out till I finish them

I've started and dropped so many dramas because of that. Once it loses promise I hands off.

Exo is made up of 12 members(now 9 as tao is about to leave) and its divided into 2groups- 6koreans called Exo-k and 6 Chinese called exo-m.tried to watch their videos..urgh! Michael Jackson wannabes. But I love their current single.."call me baby".

Miss A- four gals(Suzy baes group).I dunno how Suzy is d breakout star in her group(maybe her acting,which is just OK but improved in kang chi).She's d fourth member and d youngest.And according to wat I read on allkpop, d members ain't that close(I'm saying that cuz when she started dating Lee,none of d other gals knew till d news came out.som'n ain't ryt.she's so odd).

Sistah-5 gals..them don use surgery finish their faces Kai Koreans ehn. Plastic surgery na their 2nd name.

I love love love CNBLUE.minhyuk (he played d bestie to park shin hye in heirs) is my doll.so calm.their song "sleepless night is on repeat mostly on ma phone.

my biggest problem with most kpop singers is their way of tryna add English to their songs.Almost all their songs have English titles lol.
why must they ve groups comprising of 6-15 members? na wa.

It amazes me how people call someone ugly or a monkey. Well thank God that's just physical/on the outside. Folks calling people monkey and ugly...should look internally and decide if they could be the ones who are ugly monkeys inside. Out of the abundance of the heart....LOL ugly monkeys only see ugly monkeys....
