Ugh he's just not likable at all. And when people say negative things about someone all the time...chances are, he's a terrible person. From what I hear he's made enemies with all those who started at the bottom with him. As for me I'm not a fan AT ALL even of his music these days.

Help i think i have watched 95% of all the kdramas on dramafire and .....am a KDrama addict...i need to go for a K.A meeting(Kdrama Anonymous)
LOL wow that's commendable - cos you must have to sit hours just watching and watching. If I had that opportunity I'll keep a treadmill in my TV room to be exercising as I'm watching lmao or I'll just grow fat and lazy grin grin There are K-addicts all around the world, who watch it more than you and even have blogs and websites where they discuss their love for Korean and other countries' dramas.

***

Please who else has watched King's Daughter (Su Baek Hyang)? I'm at episode 54 and already I feel like killing that fake princess Solhi. What a horrible half-sister! If I had one like that I'd just....arrrgh I hope Solnan gets to taste her princess heritage at least before the drama ends. Or I'll just...
Nairaland General › Re: The Proposed Ban On Okada: How Feasible Is It? by Aida13: 2:33pm On Oct 28, 2014
Before they can ban 'bikes' or okada then they'd better first fix all the motor roads in all cities. Bikemen are lifesavers in some areas where the roads are un-passable except you have a 4wd or truck.

On the bike men's side, I wonder where the government wants them to find their livelihood. Some of these okada drivers were graduates who lost their white collar jobs and had to turn to transportation for honest work as okada riders. I can't imagine what would happen to their families if they were to lose their jobs. Nigerian government and their ways of doing things upside down.
Celebrities › Re: Check Out Rita Dominic’s Look At A Wedding by Aida13: 4:32pm On Oct 27, 2014
Love Rita she's one of the most stylish and classy dressers in Nollywood, close to Kate Henshaw. If I were here I'd follow Uche Jombo's style and look out of the country for a groom. Stop waiting for Naija men to step up babe; it's ok to marry a foreigner and he doesn't have to be 'white' sef. Cos I know some sensible guys out there in the universe that will like a hot girl like this.

Ooh why oh why can't true love last forever in Nollywood? Why can't couples just grow old 2geda?? /sigh/

Celebrities › Re: Peter (P-Square) Shares A Picture of Him And His Wife by Aida13: 10:49pm On Oct 25, 2014
Come on guys...if you know anything about makeup and cosmetics, you'll know women wear a foundation a shade lighter than their normal skin---it's just the thing. Besides, like someone said the babe is mixed race...she wouldn't need to 'bleach' though, due to the weather in AFrica she might use some supplementary toning creams to maintain a fair appearance. Why the hate?

The Rebel starring Johnny Tri Nguyen....this movie was made in 2009 but still kicks butt...literally grin grin I didn't know Vietnamese could make such a great martial arts action movie. This was dark, deadly and delightful to watch.

Ugh this Soo Baek Hyang (King's Daughter) is already so sad and I'm just in episode 17/108. For some reason I'm still going to keep watching cos...well I'm a sucker for agony I guess grin grin The story is so out of this world to actually beggar belief but still, I want to see more of Kuchon (the mute bad-a$$ father of Solhi who knows how to kick butts lol).

Don Jazzy is more locally known while D'banj has gone international in a big way. Endorsements, recognition and popularity is more on D'banj's side though I don't see all the fuss about his music (which I think is arrant rubbish).
Celebrities › Re: Tiwa Savage (doro Diva) Looking Super Fly In Her Latest Manchester Outfits by Aida13: 12:32pm On Oct 24, 2014
I won't lie, Tiwa's fashion sense is always up to the minute. Everything she wears goes with the current trend...whether it's a bit over the top or actually cool. Still...I'm on the fence whether I'm a fan of her fashion. But I like her musical talents.
TV/Movies › Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by Aida13: 10:24pm On Oct 23, 2014
Watching Gotham ep 4 of season 1. Looking good...a bit overplayed esp with the Fish character (Jada Pinkett) but somehow, I like it. Jim Gordon is intriguing; the Pigeon is annoying as per usual..looks like DC franchise has got their groove back (with Flash too)

Not all are so flat chested; they wear protective, tight bands around their bust to keep them in place when running around for so long. Can you imagine how painful it will be for it to be bouncing around all the time? Geez. It's called a sports bra and it packs everything down and tight.

Rent for two days ko...rent for two years ni.

You'll know a person who rents a yacht for two days...she'll post pics of her actually inside the cabins, or lounging on deck. Now all you have is one measly photo right on the edge where no one else can be seen. She probably just went on a day cruise with other tourists. So many instagram fails these days.... For all you care this is just a publicity stunt. Anyway let me go and check if there is any more evidence/pics. I may be wrong. NOT!!

What makes it so tacky is wearing a bikini and then wearing a full lace gown on top. Why didn't she simply wear a wrap around her waist? This is 2014 ffs. No one cares if you wear a bikini on holiday in a foreign country. Covering it up makes it look even more questionable. Just be proud of yourself. I go to pools all the time and all the girls are in bikinis, who cares and they're not even celebs. Talkless of you who should be proud of flaunting yourself as per celeb. What an epic fail.

bushdoc9919:
I am really really laffing my head off....

(There was one poster near where I lived.....which essentially read THAT WITCH MUST PASS AWAY .(Whoever the witch was....).

But seriously, the posters represent a big problem with Christianity in Nigeria. Large segments of Christians in Nigeria are practicing a religion that glorifies the pastor as some sort of superman...able to do and undo(with the help of God of course).People now go to church because Pastor can do something supernatural(Whatever that means).

And now, it has become like a Nolly-wood film.

I wonder....sometimes, I think that God is allowing Nigeria to undergo problems because the Christians, instead of serving God.....are busy running to crusade ground for breakthrough.(When they are not constructing a temple to worship the [s]honour the vision of the pastor not God's will[/s] serve God in line with God's plan.

Even as we laugh at these posters....shed a tear for evangelical-protestant Christianity in Nigeria. It ain't what our parents and grand parents used to know.

Nigerian Christianity will continue on its downward trend until we build our house upon the Rock.....the fact that Jesus Christ is Lord
I don't think this is a downward trend. And though we might laugh at the posters, the messages are actually relevant to many Christians today. Let's face it, Christians do suffer attacks from the devil and you need to call these problems by their names. So many good trends have come out from men of God not afraid to think outside the box. When the Pentecostals came with their speaking in tongues, the Jews thought they were out of their head. The same today. When some churches started praying for the forces behind their problem to 'die', no one understood. But such prayer mentality works for a lot of Christians. Not everything must be dressed in lace and ceremonial garb.

You are really ignorant!
Thank you. A third world country dreaming of hosting a continental tournament; when they hardly can contain the terrorism issues. Look I can go all day talking about the lack of facilities for the common man not to talk of the visiting teams. Everything will be run on generated electricity which will triple the costs; what about security of life and what about qualified medics to handle any eventuality? Oops from what I hear they are on strike. You better sharap and pocket your opinion about ignorance. Rubbish.

You deserve to be slapped in the back of the head for being so ignorant about the affairs of Africa's biggest economy.
Ignorant what? You think it's by having stadiums? Do you know what 'hosting' means? This will cost us more than we hope to gain. That's why you never see any dividends from Nigerians hosting-----unlike other countries, we host at a LOSS grin grin grin I pity you. Keep blinding yourself to the truth. For your info, it is my patriotism that makes me say this. We are in no position to host even a chicken leg to a pot of soup. Rubbish.

Wow, the country has none of these things and yet we have hosted two FIFA world tournaments including the African Nations Cup THRICE and countless other tournaments? You must have been born yesterday.
You hosted and SO? What gains or dividends did you get? ZILCH. When countries host, the economy booms. I saw no boom. I never said they didn't host in the past. Just that they are in no position to host now. Goodness I dislike over-nationalistic, blind Nigerians. When will you grow up??
Politics › Re: Nigeria 'interested' In Hosting AFCON 2015 by Aida13: 8:56pm On Oct 20, 2014
Anybody that will allow Nigeria to host even a grassroots friendly deserves to be slapped in the back of the head....lmao even Me I will personally protest against such hosting. A country with no emergency services, no healthcare, no electricity, no transportation system...corruption galore and no safety facilities...I could go on. And on.
Education › Re: Emmanuel Ohuabunwa Earned 3.98 GPA At John Hopkins University by Aida13: 8:47pm On Oct 20, 2014
If you have a good foundation in Nigeria, it's easy to excel abroad.

I've seen average students go to uni in UK and top their classes...one girl told me Nigerians top not just classes but even the Student unions etc.

Ohuabunwa was probably just an OK student over here, but thanks to the good foundation from his early education, he was able to use that sense in the oyibo land grin grin grin

I doff my hat to his parents, for not letting him fall into wrong hands or even get killed by jealous neighborhood youths who can't see a foreign black student excel.

I wish him success in Yale - full scholarship to Yale is not a joke o....you know what that means? Your parents won't spend one dollar....wow this is a dream for some families...
Celebrities › Re: Davido Shows-off His Beautiful Sisters On Instagram by Aida13: 8:30pm On Oct 20, 2014
Anyone who can call Davido's sisters ugly needs their head, eyes and brain examined. And their skin? It looks okay to me. As for the other one's mouth....that's called a 'trout pout' and it's very notorious with the American celebs like Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan etc. In fact if you can't do a 'trout pout' in your pic/selfie you never arrive.

These girls are more than OK abeg. Very pretty, but haters will hate. No surprise there.

The way you said she's a bad representative of our Nigerian women made it sound like what you meant was that she wasn't a good role model . To me, she was just unlucky that 2 Nigerians were up so early in the game when each and every country had to vote for their representative
Yeah she was really unlucky grin to get nominated for eviction at all... But seriously, she's lucky to have people like u who even sympathize. I for one am not a fan, let's just leave it at that grin in fact I no send anyone for that house and that's why I never got so active on this thread.

How is she a bad representation? Lilian neither smokes nor drink . She never had sex in the house. What exactly did the poor girl do wrong to qualify her as a bad representative of our Nigerian women? Was it Karen or Beverly that was a good representation of our Nigerian women?
Well, I'm not exactly looking for role models when I watch BBA...that said, it's in my well-informed opinion that the 'poor girl' was a bad rep. My view, I'm sure have yours. Not trying to force my opinion down your throat, I merely stated it. So go ahead and state/make your own point (of view).

Not asking for perfection. I just thought she could have done better. Maybe she wouldn't be OUT so soon in the competition (which is very rare for a Nigerian in BBA in recent times).
